Post Your Soviet/Communist Characters!
/screenshot will do it without any key presses. /screenshotui 1 beforehand if you want to show a UI element. /screenshotui 0 to turn it off after.
Also, old, old (and not leveled much - needs updating) brute, Molotov's Fury. (I may have updated his costume since, come to think of it.)
lol, I bet a lot of fire Russians have Molotov in the name. Mine is Molotov Commissar.
Lol while I don't have a full time Russian character I made a Zangief costume (from StreetFighterII) for a themed task force... he's Russian.
P.S. if your print screen button somehow has a different function in the game and you want to set it back here is the syntax...
/bind Sysrq "screenshotui 0"
copy the above line then load up the game click the chat bar and hit ctrl+v then enter and you should be set.
Here's a few I've developed in Pinnacle's 'Red Guard VG':
Comrade Cossack
Red Guardian
Red Nikita
Soviet Proletarian
Black Boris
Soviet Cold Warrior

One thing I like to do with many of my costumes is by creative mixing of parts, patterns and colors I make parts that actually don't/shouldn't exist in the game.
There actually is no good chest hair option in the game (as you mentioned the Y doesn't cut it and looks silly on the back)... however using the "Lion" chest emblem and making both colors the exact same shade of brown will give the illusion of a hairy chest with nothing on the back.
You have a Zangief costume too?
He's since been culled to make space but I used to have the Bad Czech.

I used to have a few lowbies scattered about the servers that fit the bill for this thread, but now I'm down to just 2 (or 1 depending on how you look at it). Praetorian and Primal version of the same character.
Backstory behind the characters is that Nika Molotok was a Russian Olympic gymnast during WWII. Later, it was discovered that she was a mutant and stripped of her medals and barred from competition. Then the agency that would become the KGB(I forget right now what it was) ran an ad in the paper looking for "able-bodied young men and women to help bring glory to the Motherland". Nika jumped at the chance, and fell into their clutches. They augmented her skills in a super soldier program and then cryogenically froze her until they would need her services...
Miss Molotok (Hero SS/SR Brute):
In Praetoria, the facility that housed Nika Molotok was abandoned during the Hamidon Wars. Recently, Devouring Earth ransacked the derelict lab and accidentally released Nika from her slumber. In a rage she destroyed them all and then passed out. She woke up in Cole's city.
Mistress Molotok (Villain SS/EA Brute):
On Primal Earth, the KGB brought Nika out of stasis during the Cold War. She followed orders and quickly rose to power, leading her own squadron of fellow supers. After the fall of the Soviet Union she became a mercenary, eventually ending up in the Zig.
Originally I came up with Miss, but when I ran her through the newish arc with the doubles in it I started to wonder what her Primal counterpart was like. And Mistress was born.
And sorry about some of the pictures being darker, should have waited for a better time to take the shots.

All my characters
The less-cliche characters, from an alternate Earth where the USSR didn't collapse. A soldier and scientist working on the Tunguska event were having a tryst when the equipment suffered an mishap (ain't is always the way?) and were transported to Primal Earth.

I need help making a more heroic soviet outfit. I have a bunch of evil soldier with a black, red and gray pallet.
Communists, eh? Well on that theme, I just go right back to the source! Presenting, Robot Lenin!
His back story is very elaborate and much more strongly science fictional than some of my City of Heroes characters but, basically he's an android toolin' around Paragon fightin' crime and preaching liberation for synthetic organisms everywhere.
"Civilization advances by extending the number of important operations which we can perform without thinking of them."

Scarf_Girls Official Kid Brother!
I have a new soviet themed character named Roxy Roulette. Who was sent to Praetoria by a shady group seeking to gain intel on this interesting new ... place ... but early portal tech in the Union was unstable and she ended up in present day praetoria. I'll try and get pictures but win7 is win7 and i haven't been able to take a decent screen in months.
Roxy On DA...Finally!
I hate you all! Now I want to (re)do my "Red Psionic" on Virtue. Or maybe Union...?

Bio:
The story of The Legendary Unwavering Communist.
Nothing is known of TLUC before he was found scavenging for food amidst the ruins of a war torn Stalingrad during WWII. Georgy Zhukov — Military commander and politician credited with many of the most significant Soviet victories of WWII, witnessed the starving boy attack and kill a platoon of German soldiers with no weapons simply to get their food rations. He was taken immediately taken into custody and forced into military service.
Early in his military commitment, it is rumored that TLUC was chosen to take part in an experimental super soldier program. These claims can not be verified due to missing or incomplete records in the aftermath of the fall of the USSR. Due to these record keeping errors, it is unclear what the extent of his military service was after 1947. His only known and confirmed military action was during the Afghan civil war, when he was spotted single-handedly overtaking and killing a Mujahideen force of 3,000 soldiers in what has come to be known "The Incident." No further information has been found regarding his time with the Soviet military.
He reemerged following the collapse of the Union in Northern Siberia, where it is said he was living in a 6,500 square meter home constructed from the skulls of the people he had killed while in service.
He was approached by Ms Liberty, who was tasked with trying to recruit such a formidable warrior into the then underground fight against a growing, but still covert, Rikti invasion force. It is unknown why, but after years of courting him into the fray, he agreed to the request and immediately began a campaign to rid the globe of the Rikti.
It is still completely unknown how large a role he plays in the ongoing conflict. Attempts have been made to eavesdrop on his conversations with Ms Liberty in Atlas Park during his frequent check-ins with her in order to ascertain more information about his activities; Each time resulting in the death of hundreds of supers unfortunate enough to be in the area at the time.
Yes, yes, thread Necromancy and all, but I just found this thread, and wanted to show off Red Radeon, a Rad/Rad Defender.
He's the one in the middle.
Let's see all of everyone's soviet/cold war characters. I'll post mine when I can figure out how to make my print screen button not be my insert button.
