  1. The coyote power has a better chance of seeing a January release than Staff Fighting.

Depending how rough our version of I22 is, it'll be March? Maybe late February.

Not merit. Token. Used to get the nearly the same veteran rewards as you were getting under the former system.

    12/20 - Winter Holiday Pack

    Thanks for the heads up.

Any chance we'll get a schedule like this in the future? Maybe not announce everything to avoid surprises, but a general idea of what's coming and when would be appreciated.

I can plan point purchases accordingly.
  4. So Tyrant sees Statesman's sacrifice (whatever it may be) and decides to don the mantel against an ever corrupting Well of the Furies?

Or maybe Hero 1 finally comes back.

Either way, this SSA has been pretty anti-climatic since volume 2. I'll just wait for the trade back edition next time.

You don't actually have to purchase the Titan Weapons set to get the Weapons Pack for free. It's currently on the store for 0 points.
  6. A reasonable supplemental pack to augment the existing cowboy/cowgirl options in the game.

I don't think with anyone with imagination (or creativity) would be using an entire pack to create a costume for their character.

But the pre-tinting has to go.
  7. My wife found this a few days ago.

I was impressed they actually...you know...played the game.

I remember that Game Informer GR review that was plagued with misinformation (I remember they kept claiming Cryptic was working on it still and they had been released 4 years ago).

    The Walking Dead

I thought it worked (The Sophia sequence) as intended.

It gave viewers an opportunity to see if Rick was actually going to stand behind what he believes, that they are dangerous. Regardless of who they once were.

Or if he'd buckle and side with Hershel that they are still fathers, daughters, sons, and so forth.

I'm a huge fan of the comic. My wife, on the other hand, is not. In her defense, she's not overly a big fan of zombies.

Our two reactions almost mirrored that.

I smirked as Sophia walked through the barn door, knowing Rick was finally going to "nut-up" and stop being cowardly. Finally becoming Deputy Rick Grimes I love vs. Sheriff Rick Grimes I hate (Probably the reason Shane is actually my favorite character on the show I suppose)

She was practically in tears because the little girl they were looking for was dead and her "family" put her down.

So, with the show on planned hiatus, anyone want to keep the discussion going with the comics over the next few weeks?

I think TB 15 comes out in about a month. And I91 came out last week maybe? Or the week before.

And it looks like McFarlane is finally get that series 2 line of figures out (Ones based on the TV show)

    Joking aside, I agree.

    The Walking Dead

I knew when they started clearing the barn what was going to happen.

Nice way to place the show on a semi-cliff hanger till February.
  13. She's also been busy chasing this face around when she's been intending to draw...

    I like this idea.

Make DA a solo friendly incarnate zone.

Make the entire Shadow Shard a group friendly incarnate area.
  16. Perhaps a case of too much forward planning/thinking for one of my bases...

But is it safe to assume that since the new DA will be co-op that villains will be able to get a teleport beacon to the zone?

And alternatively will the hero side teleport beacon send players to the echo (like the Galaxy City beacon currently) and thus require players to get a brand new beacon for the updated zone? Or will it send players directly to the new DA and the only way the echo is accessible is via Ouro?

Maybe the current beacon will even do both?

An odd detail to ponder, I realize, but late night base editing will do that to you.

  18. Nothing for me except the Pilgrim hat.

Is Cyber Monday being lumped in with these deals as well?

I was a little hazy if it was mentioned that there would be both Black Friday AND Cyber Monday sales or if they were one in the same.

Either way, fingers crossed for a Cyber Monday sale on costume slots.
  19. I'm just disappointed there was no rotten fruit temp power this week.

Because I'd be up for that this weekend at the Meet and Greet during the various panels.

After my disappointment settled down, it gave way to apathy.

Hopefully the dog will give way to better powersets.
  20. I'm not sure when it was changed/fixed/updated/what have you, but my whisp aura has been restored.

I've checked two characters that were created post Freedom launch (One just after. The other one two weeks ago). Both received the "New Costume Piece" message upon signing in, along with "You may now access the costume part WhispAuraIncentive at the Tailor." in the chat window.

I created a new character to test, and while I didn't receive the whispauraincentive message, he does have access to it at the tailor.

Edit: Checked multiple accounts and so far, everything has come up.

    The Walking Dead

The Sophia angle has run it's course.

With the increase in episodes, I think they (meaning the writers) could afford to slow the pace down a bit. But we need to move on. With only two more episodes till February left, I'd like to see the group moving onward towards their next safe haven. Of course, it will likely end season 2 completely.

I don't really like that Hershel is being presented as an antagonist to the group. Next to Andrea, he was the closest thing to a voice of reason in the comics. He was there to protect his family, but eventually knew Rick was right and did what he could to save the remainder.

Speaking of Andrea, this character is completely unlikable at this point for me. A partial thumbs up for getting to show her starting gun training, but then double thumbs down for a hint at the romance angle with Dale (And yes, I realize how big of an arc it is in the comic book, but it just feels out of place with what's happened in the television show). Though, I suspect it'll end up being more of a Father/daughter relationship angle instead.

The reveal of the farmhouse's content was much nicer in the show, compared to the "Let's show you how we wrangle zombies" in the comic. I think it'll all lead to Rick being forced to make those decisions Shane alludes to.

And Lori still received four thumbs down for being an awkward, stereotypical "I don't know what I really want" female lead. We deserve better from the writers for that character.
  24. Seriously?

Isn't this the third time the Mace Mastery bug has been "fixed"?

Can we just start leaving that out of the notes until...you know...it's actually fixed?
