The overwhelming force proc should be good knockdown fun in it too.

Blah.
Marketing like this turns me actively against the game community.
still I doubt it was international contest anyhow?
I also doubt any dev will see a post this late in thread. -
I really enjoy the four player teams. As others have said, each person playing counts.
Yes that means you can be stuck with someone who sucks.
Most of the time its been fine, with some slower battles with less optimal or lower level range characters.
It's made the team up teleporter shine too. And suit my altitis so well.
Logon, check market, often have an event before finished mucking about - red or blue side.
I wouldn't want all content to be so strictly mandated with team size, but as an event I'm finding it a great size. Much better for me than large leagues. -
No, its pretty consistent that pay2win doesn't have a literal meaning for many games and people, not just this one.
And all sub cultures redfine meanings and expressions. That's what helps make it a sub culture. -

Quote:TF's faster = reward merits get adjusted down.Other people paying to win in this game just helps me win more.
Prices on the AH drop. Teammates get better builds. I complete more TFs faster. The game gets more development funding.
"Pay to win" in this game means nobody loses.
That said, I don't really mind the pay2win (as we tend to use the term here).
Subscribing gets you the largest amount of pay2win in Paragon. -

Quote:<speculates>Correct. But I genuinely hope no one is crazy enough to use this as a KD proc. I suspect these will be going for 300M+ when they are able to be put on the market.
With all the gating, I see them going much higher than 300M. At least for the buy it now over the first few days we're able to market them.
At least as high as the purple costume drop for the first 48 hours, i.e. we'll see many bids at around 1 billion. -
Rumour Mill (ie i'm to lazy to find the quote) that the Z said no converting is WAI.

Quote:I slot for accuracy & have plenty of + accuracy bonus that gather when you IO for anything. You dont run tactics on your blaster? I do.. I hate missing :P Just checked my build incl IO's on mids... my main blaster is on 33% to hit
When I grab tactics, it's normally either to help with Pets, or confuse protection over the increased chance to hit. -
Quote:Uggh. Really. No Markert trading the IOs.Yeah VERY disappointed you can't convert the enhancements... even more disappointed you cannot trade them on market.
So basically you have to run this a bazillion times if you want a full set with the way the RNG is working for me LOL!
:sad face: -
The mez protection buff is game changing for the non melee ATs.

I didn't say (and don't think) there is anything wrong with doing a reasonable cost/benefit ratio. Even if its more likely a 'thats to hard' than an actual cost/benefit study.

1) How to read league chat
2) How to ask if they don't know a mechanic/trial. -
Quote:What about the countries that don't have laws making contests rewards expensive/illegal to award inside their jurisdiction and require no circumventing of laws? i.e. most of them.Okay, i'll bite. How, exactly, do you work around the laws in the various regions that have laws making contest rewards expensive/illegal to award inside their jurisdiction? IANAL, so i'm not familiar with methods for easily and inexpensively circumventing laws prohibiting certain types of contest rewards.
Might of been more true years ago, but many countries have pretty clear and accessable guidelines now.
Admittedly a company needs to do more than just rely on the government website outlining competition rules, (which would sort out the loaded parts of your question) but neglecting to resource a few hours of staff lawyer time over 10 years sends a message that is far more about priorities than being an extreme hard task.
I don't think MMORPG.ORG website would have any real value doing the work for it, and far less likely to have 'lawyer hours' to assign.
Note: I'm not insisting on having the work done to appease us who don't live in USA. -

Quote:Why didn't you just ask directly 'what snipe IO sets will make me money if I stock up'?snipes are despised currently by players who min/max, the players who have tons of influence and drive up prices in the AH. So snipe enhancements are dirt cheap, they have to be given away.
but suppose snipes suddenly became good. People were suddenly interested in slotting snipe IO powersets. And not just on new characters - tons of characters were suddenly respeced to use snipes and they all need IOs.
hypothetically speaking, what snipe IO's and sets would be the good ones. The ones that forward thinking players might stock up on now while prices are low? -

Quote:I like this idea. They could always change Tactics for Blaster to 10%, like for Corruptors. This way, Blasters can have the Snipes always 'speedy' like Corruptors and Defenders without resorting to a second power.
~
The changes with blasts seem to benefit defenders/cors/others as much as blasters. My defenders will love the changes far more than my blasters.
Annoying that I'll have to respec a lot of blasters to include the surviabilty power picks. (Annoying to me - not saying its a bad choice by the Devs to use those powers.)
Lightening clap is going to have to be pretty damn special for +regen to make me pick it though.
Nuke changes would make more impact to me. But not going to turn my nose up on these buffs. -
