I've been buying prepaid access a bit lately - 5GB / month would seem ample for just City of Heroes. I run out of time before my 4GB in a month runs out.

My Perma-Dom was my first to try & didnt realise that trapdoor could bifrucate. Wham Bam.
My Scrapper had no issues. Just downed a red and slaughtered away.
My purpled Ill/Kin had trouble, face planted once but had more trouble with Rikti Horde mission.
My Peacebringer left imprints on the ground repeatedly. Needed to pull out the back up radio & swalloed a lot of inspirations. Had trouble keeping him in the larva.
My generic IO Kin/Psi Defender hasn't manged it yet. Tried a few different times, used a buffed back up radio, wolf and snowbeast. Will set it to -1 next but will probably just get someone to help me. I'm not deadset on having to solo him, more curious to see which on my characters can.
Have a elec/elec blaster to do after the defender. Think I'll probably need inpirsations but will be okay. -

I love teleport foe on my /traps and /devices.
I find it fine on even level lieutenant (I do 2 slot it).
Its also got a huge range (200' iirc) making it useful for pulling. -

That tech actually already exists. We know they can already have two powers open up in the same set at the same level - there are a number of examples in the primary sets of both peacebringers and warshades. What I find funny about some people obsessed with min/maxing (not all, not by a long shot) is that they seem to be under the impression that it is needed... which leads me to think that some of them are really very bad players.

If you were in the EU playing a US account, you wouldn't be affected. No as you don't have an EU account and can not be effect by the merge.
If you were in the US playing an EU account, you would be affected. If someone has the same Global name on the US server then yes you would.
You are still be discrimation on where which server you log onto, which is cover in the above EU directive.
Something like amount of vet time gain as people have mention would not be discrimation as you ca not say where the people would be affected, as it would be over both server, thus both sets of players are been treat equality.
Its not discrimation based on racial origin which you earlier claimed. -

I ran the WST ITF on quite a few of my level 35-38 characters. Most got two and a bit levels from it. More a bump than rocketing upwards.

Bringing racial issues into this is the rubbish, and frankly is minimising the serious issues of racial discrimation. -
You might as well do the root game folder and copy permissions to all subfolders. There is a checksum that sometimes gets placed in the rootgame folder.

If jerks are common for your play experience, you should try a different server.
I have rarely met jerks that kicked before reward etc, but you will find them more common on the WST, as that brings out more people in general. Some people find TFs stressful and handle it badly.
Harrasing on broadcast is just poor taste - hopefully they got slammed for it.
I think the person you encountred as team leader was a jerk. (assuming everything as you sadi it was).
You should ensure that you one starred them and thier friend.
There is also that your son may not be of age to deal with jerks well. There is an age suggestion for Heroes which reflect that the 'play experience may change online' may not always change to the better. At 9, some kids dont react well to jerks and better to avoid them completly.
I let my daughter play who is below that age suggestion, and she handles the jerks when we come across them just fine.
They bother her far less than they do me to be honest. She shrugs and moves on.
But if you're son gets overly upset I'd just duo or only TF when it a friendly SG or group of global friends.
