Is it possible to purchase Add-On Packs as gifts?

I asked this question a few weeks back. The solution was that you can't directly. I bought one of those prepaid Visa cards. Sent the info via email to my buddy so he could apply it to his account.
Fail.
This has been asked for since the first addon pack was released. Don't hold your breath for it ever changing

NCstore needs to pick up [Gift] already. I mean come on, it's been a better part of a decade, it's bound to have a few respecs lying around.
That just about says it all.
I have a friend who I play with, who doesn't have the dough to pay for the extra add on packs. I thought it'd be nice to buy them for him, so he has more costume and emote options.
Ideas?
