  1. My list this week is:

    Batman Beyond #2
    Invincible Iron Man #500.1
    Iron Man Legacy #11

And the one I'm really looking forward to...

    Irredeemable #22

    ::::::SPOILERS AHOY!!!::::::
Tony's waking up on the alien prison planet, and man is he gonna be mad mad mad! We may get to see him destroy an entire world.

Also, the interaction between Qubit and Survivor in last month's issue was...interesting to say the least. I want to see more of that. Of course, that all ties into Kaidan's search for Scylla, Survivor's though-to-be-dead brother, who we have seen is actually in possession of Modeus/Modeusbot and Encanta (who Modeus/Modeusbot has converted to a digital magic-stream, or something?).

    ::::::AVAST SPOILERS!!!::::::

Man, I can't wait. So many interesting plot threads!

If you've seen him lately he looks normal again. Hair's cut, face is shaved, nice suit. So it was all an act/publicity stunt for the movie.
Yeah, I really don't know why people are having such a hard time wrapping their brains around an actor...acting.

Wow I must have missed that episode. That was cool.
  4. Well, here in Austin is was about 80 yesterday. Today it is 35. I'd appreciate it if all you "ha ha I walk around naked when it's 2 degrees outside" folks would kindly keep this "cold" stuff away from me. I mean, I had to PUT ON A COAT!! HAVE YOU PEOPLE NO MERCY!?!? I actually get SOMEWHAT CHILLED when I go outside for a smoke! This is an OUTRAGE!!

Oh, but it rained when the cold front moved through, which is nice.

It's not on CN, it's on Disney XD
  6. I would have LOVED to sit in on the design meetings for this movie:

    - "Then the robot uses his magnetic power picks up, like, 20 assault rifles and shoot them all at the same time! Rat-a-tata-tata-Ratatatat! Pew pew! BLAMMO!"

    - "Uh, don't you think that's a bit much..."

    - "Then, later, there are like, 100 robots. They al magenetize themselves into a giant robot sphere. The guns all stick out and they start firing! Rat-a-tata-tata-Ratatatat! Pew pew! BLAMMO!"

    - "Oooookay. We'll get right on that!"
  7. So, I finally got to the bottom of my stack and read TG. Fantastic first issue! I take my pants off to you, Mr. Hickman. Wait a minute, that sounded better in my head....
  8. I blame Canada, sending their Arctic cold fronts down here every winter. Curse you Canucks!
  9. I had this happen recently. I somehow ended up with 2 copies of Steve Rogers: Super Soldier #1 (of 4), one copy of #2 and no #3. I still don't know how I managed that. I won't buy #4 until I have #3, but I keep forgetting to look for it.
  10. I've had this happen twice to the same character, a level 38ish Archery/Devices blaster. The first time it happened I had Cloaking Device running, and I thought that was the problem because I was hidden when the doppleganger was supposed to switch to "enemy" and attack. I sent in a /petition and got a GM to "defeat" the doppleganger and complete the mission.

The second time I had this mission on this character, I cleared everything out except the NOCs around my doppleganger. Thinking about the last time and how maybe the doppleganger needed to see me to attack, I deactivated Cloaking Device before attacking that group and...it happened again. This time I just auto-completed the mission.

There's obviously some glitch in having the doppleganger switch from "friendly/neutral" while s/he's talking to you, to "enemy" when s/he should attack.

Or a unicorn with rainbows coming out of its butt!
  12. Wait, someone actually has a problem with how Swift and Hurdle work? And thinks the powers need to be changed? And thinks it's a big enough issue to post on the forums about it?

    BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA!!!!! !

    *gasp* *pant* *gasp*

    BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA!!!!! !

Hey devs, when I use Super Running it looks silly, because my legs move really really fast and when I'm flying my legs don't move really fast so nerf Super Running or boost flight.
  13. WooHoo! Got my copy last night! The LCS didn't put it in my pull - I told them a THIRD time to add it - but there were copies on the shelf. I haven't read it yet...I'm saving it for last of my comics this week!
  14. Noooo, don't quit Troy! Think of the tens of dollars you'll make!
  15. I played the game too. Man, am I ever glad I [SPOILER!!!] decided to buy the potion!

The sad thing is, we used to be able to do this, then the store was "upgraded" and it is no longer possible. The store used to give you the code, then you would go enter it into your game account yourself. You could get the code and give it to a friend, who could then enter it into their account. I did this for a buddy of mine. I bought him 2 boosters/item packs for Xmas one year. I just gave him a card with the codes in it, he entered them into his account and that was it.

I still have no idea why this was changed.

I just don't see this. I get the feel that the show is trying to display the formation of a team of several super-powered individuals who are used to going it alone. And I think it's doing a good job at that.

  20. This show has become "appointment viewing" for me and my son. I'm really liking the characterization, and they've done a fine job of introducing storylines and interweaving them.

I agree with the poster above: The Hawkeye/Hulk "bromance" is very nicely done. I especially loved when Cap was giving Tony some hand-to-hand training, while Hawkeye and Hulk sat on the sidelines and made fun of Tony for getting his kiester handed to him. Repeatedly.
  21. I have to say, the only reason I liked this video/rant is beacuase of the music. The Carmina Burana makes anything sound epic.

    but thats
    it.

    Edited because I misspelled beacuase.
  22. Note to self: Don't play Twister with these two.

    Wait a minute....

Note to self: Strike last note to self. DO play Twister with these two! Giggity!

Anyone care to provide a helpful link for a returning, ignorant player?

With a hero or villain level 20 or higher, you can get random Tips, that drop from NPC foes level 20 or higher. In a tip mission, you can choose to either do the heroic (or villainous) thing, or take the Rogue (or vigilante) path. After you've run 10 tip missions *having done the same morality in each one of them* you become eligible for a Morality Mission. The next tip you get *should* be a Morality Mission tip. The first time you do a Morality Mission, if you decide to stay the same morality (hero or villain) you get 50 Reward Merits. If you switch to one of the gray alignments (Rogue of Vigilante), you get 30 reward merits (*not* Alignment merits) for the first Morality mission. Run 10 more tips and another Morality mission and again stay the same morality and you get an Alignment Merit (Hero Merit of Villain Merit). If you reaffirm Rogue or Vigilante, you get 60 reward merits. As long as you keep reaffirming your morality in this manner, you will get an Alignment Merit - or 60 reward merits - each time you complete a Morality Mission.

Alignment merits can be redeemed at a specific vendor on each side (one's in Atlas Park and I'm not sure where the villain one is).

Here's a link with more information.
