    That apparently the devs have put an entire faction of players on /ignore basically.

    Sigh... well after seeing how they borked PVP, I'm not surprised some people are afraid of drawing attention to themselves.

    Anyway... there is always COH 2...
  4. Heh... with all the rage flying around, I do my best not to add to it. Besides, overall things have improved since I have been away.

    The larger AE file size is very nice... I might re-do my old arcs now that I can put more detail into them. Also, GR seems near... it had best be... because if it comes out this fall its going to have to compete with Fallout: New Vegas, Fable 3, Halo Reach, and Enslaved for my time budget...
  5. Ahhh.... I just recently came back to COX, so I didnt realize Virtue was on the fritz. But still, I played for hours no problem... One ten minute period of annoyance isnt going to send me into any kind of rage.

    Glad to hear its being looked into, and it isnt a problem on my end, hehe...

    On a side note... you couldnt pry me from Virtue with a large crowbar. I'll stand for its crashings as much as I have to. You know I love you, Virtue...

  7. I looked at the news and at the announcement sections first and couldnt find any. But about five minutes ago I was booted out of the game while in the middle of making an AE arc.

    Ever since every time I try to log in I get 'Cant Connect to DB server.' I see the server load is all green, but sometimes it is...

    So did the servers go kerflooey? Or is it just me. At the moment I assume it is me. But who knows...

  9. I was thinking of hip-based scabbards. But that makes more sense. Then that begs another question. Quivvers are easy, as arrows are more or less the same. But if your aiming for scabbards, wouldnt you need one for every type of sword?

    And what about bow people? Will they get to see their tool of destruction slung across their back? For that matter, where DOES one keep a frankengun?

    It seems to be a big load of work for me, the end result just being: Scabbards! They hold things while your not being awesome with them!

    But in the end, its the redname's decision as to what they do and not do. Regardless of player imput. So if they go for it, good for them. It will just be met with a decent amount of 'Meh' from me. *shrug*
  10. Eh, scabbards might be fun. But I cant help but think they would clip with everything and look horrible. And be pointless for all but those FEW powers that even use them.

    Then again, if it keeps people from pulling katanas out of their colons...

    Hehehe... thanks. I took it while running from the D entrance in PO to Cap. I was trying to make sure this problem didnt have anything to do with the body sculptress tailor.

    It was completely random... but it came out well. I love the Lost being tossed like a couple of dolls. ^_^

    People knock KB, but if you use it smart it will be your bestest friend.

    Anyway... that problem I had is still there, but now that I found out how to work around it I am golden. It really just seems to be tied to the color across all powerset button for some reason.

    Well whatever it turns out to be, I hope I helped in some way.

    Alright now... here is me changing all the colors in my set again. I had put them all back to default because that was better than the plain white.

    As you can see, I have plenty of inf to spend, and gale should be a blue color. When I hit accept, I then ran out and blasted a Luddite with gale. It came up that same white color as my previous screenshot.

    Now, when I go back to the tailor, the power customization screen looks like this. Now note I did NOT change anything at this point.

    And now, when I click on a power, this happens. Now I did NOT choose these red colors, they seem to automatically be selected as soon as I click on one of these grayed out powers. The exact same thing happens with every one of these powers except the two which seem immune to this. And even if I hit accept at this point, the colors of the powers will not be red in game. They will still be white.

    There... hope that helps a bit more.

    Edit: Wait... scratch that last thing about the red not showing up. It IS showing up. In fact more colors are showing up when I color them individually. I think this was a problem with the copy all colors across current powerset. Because as soon as I stopped doing that I suddenly could color my powers again. And its finally carrying over in-game.

    Yes I had them customized to a dark blue color... and created this character after launch with those colors already in. Also I have plenty of inf for my repeated attempts at fixing it.

    And the in the customization screen it accepts the colors, and shows the animation of them being used correctly, but when I accept it and exit it goes back to this white color every time.

    Themes' chosen: Color Tintable (for storm)
    Bug Description: The colors for Storm have been bugged since character creation. Freezing Rain and Snow Storm are fine for some reason, but every other color I have customized comes out as grayish/white when I activate it.

    This is Steamy Mist and Gale.


    When I go to the tailors, every power but Freezing Rain and Snow Storm look colored gray in the circles to the left like they would for a default power. But when I click on them, they suddenly switch to being colored a bright red/red.

    I would screenshot this... but I dont know how to make a screenshot while in a the tailor screen.

    Recoloring them and exiting the tailor does nothing, returning them to default animation and back does nothing as well.
  17. Oh god yes... with the customization of Stone in I16 I have a stone/stone brute planned... already have the name reserved and messed around with her on test.

    Crystal armor tinted deep blue along with crystal hammers look SO awesome! Especially when I beat people over the head with them and they leave little blue shards of blue crystal around. ^_^

    But when I found out granite was possibly not going to be customizeable... well... I am seriously considering running a graniteless build.

    SO! Yes, please give me tintable overlayed granite armor! Preferably one that is crystal and awesome looking, heheh.

  18. My apologies to everyone here, as it appears I have been a complete idiot.

    Because the server I want to run this SF on is actually GUARDIAN.

    I had a mind malfunction... and wish I could still head this, but as it is I have no characters on Champion.

    My apologies again. If anyone here can step up and lead those interested to Strike Forcing, by all means take the reigns.

    If you dont mind me, I'll be off in the corner kicking myself for being such a complete moron.

  22. Hmm... alright then. I think I will keep Shadow Maul out then.

    And I DID notice Siphon Life did rather impressive damage... I five slotted it early to get to ACC/three heals in it.

    With my respec I plan at 28 I will have the slots to six slot it and get a damage in there...

    But right now I need it for a heal... As Energy Aura has no heal. Frankenslotting sounds like a lovely idea... but that wont happen until I get more levels, and more inf to feed into it. So far this is the only character I have on the server I am on.

    I am cut off from Virtue and my millions of inf! *cry*

    But anyway... thanks for the input!
  23. Yeah I have the veteran one (Sands of Mu) and yes I have become good at lining up two or more mobs when the situation allows.

    But the thing is... I can do without it. I dont NEED it for my attack chain. Though it would be nice. If I didnt take it it would mean spaces freed up for other powers. But the attack itself is still rather good...

    And with Siphon being used as a heal rather than an attack, the only realistic chain I will have will look like this.

    Brawl/Punch/Shadow Punch/Smite with the occaisonal Sands of Mu and Midnight Grasp thrown in there.

    I am just wondering wether dropping Shadow Maul will seriously hurt my DPS, is what my real question is I suppose.
  24. I have a DM/EA brute. I read the guides, but I want to know your opinions to help make my decision.

    Brutes and Shadow Maul... do the two go together well? I can take it... I can skip it... heck, I have Sands of Mu... but for some reason I still cant make up my mind.

    So... what do you think?
  25. Mmm, thats what I figured. Inf has always been a means to an end for me... never really cared much for it, heh.

    Now if it was GOLD I could see hoarding it, hehehehe.
