Succubi
Don't forget that the confuse power isn't auto hit, so and form of defense/-tohit protects your minions as well.
*edit* Poison can also decrease the potency of her confuse, and it's antidote covers confuse
Tactics offers Confuse protection. So does Storm's Steamy Mist. Assault has Placate resistance.
If you don't have those, well, mez her first or try and let a pet take the confuse.
Heh, I saw this thread and thought it was a complaint that Demon Summoning didnt get a succubus.
I for one, am highly disappointed. XD

Your option are:
1) Pop a Shiva
2)Pop a nuke
3)Pop a stalker to get her AS...
4)Ignore/Avoid her
5)Break line of sight so she can't placate/conf
They are the biggest pain on my Ninja/Dark, his AoE is Auto-hit and there is nothing like seen your on Oni using rain of fire follow with caltrops and receiving a critical golden dragon fly.I end up taking of my Darknest fall of the succubus to my joining while i was healing. They are a true nightmare >
My tactic is trying to hold her before she start using her power but i prefer inviting a stalker just to take her out.
I want /Fire stalker. Because nothing says stealth like dumping a can of gasoline on yourself and lighting a match. -Morac
I did the first mission of the Midnighter access arc yesterday with a MM. Set for bosses, every spawn has one. Not that it particularly matters, but this was a Thugs/Poison MM at +2/1. Against Agony and Ruin mages, or whatever other mages they have, no big deal. The Succubus though, usually was a real fight. They have some nasty AOE that can devastate the Punks/Arsonist and the Placate/Confuse is a nightmare. I do have Assault and Tactics which at least offer resists to that Placate/Confuse. That only helps if I live long enough to survive my Bruisers KO Blow.
When I think about all my MMs (and I have all primaries and secondaries to 50 [working on DS at the moment]), it seems like Storm and perhaps FF are best equipped to deal with them. Both because I can just keep flopping her around with Gale/Hurricane or Force Bolt. The rest of my MMs seem to rely on getting lucky or having to chew Break Frees.
So, Im looking for tactics people have to minimize the threat Succubi present to MMs. I cant think of any enemy that is as problematic to an AT as these ladies are to MMs.
