    Have you teamed with an electric dom with no pets? It is just crazy. Instead of all the exp getting drained off by the uber high damage pets, you get all of the expee! and all the GLORY!

    I am convinced this is due to the judicious use of confuse, which as we all know increases the experience gained.
  3. Cross posting, ticket opened with support is not resolved.

    Every time I patch (since 3 days ago), there is a report that the main file is corrupted. When I select repair, it reports a .pigg file is corrupted. Had no problem before I21

    This is leaving me locked out of the game, unable to play, retrying the install over and over. I saw others posting similar problems with steam purchased Going Rogue compatibility.

    I have the same exact problem. Bought on Steam by chance?

    so far support has suggested that I remove app protection from my PC and run their utility to show if the computer can run COH. Of course it ran perfectly up until this update...

    64 bit here.


    WHen I try to repair:
    Error Code: 58 (FileGroupApplicationErrorRollbackNotAttempted):

    Errors occurred while applying the patch,

    and a rollback was not attempted.

    The product is likely in an inconsistent state and should be repaired or reinstalled.

    The patch application errors are as follows:

  5. Make an awesome looking high volume easy enemy farm, however set the objective to "Ally - Single Target". As soon as the first person enters the mission ends, no one else can get in.

    Well, I made a short story that will probably kill you, but it clearly says to in the description, mission, and clues. It is sort of an homage to Zombie B-Movies, and ends with a zombie apocalypse worthy of screen shots. It the most fun I've had dying in a game since Planescape.

    There can be a place for it, but it is important to warn your audience in advance, and often too.

    Every arc by @PW and @PoliceWoman are excellent. Great stories, great writing, great attention to detail, humorous and fun. I hope this person gets alot more exposure, some of the arcs are good enough to seem professional.

    The one where you go back to your teens was an especially great story.

    (1) Braaaainsss. Zombie apocalypse B-Movie homage in a single mission. It will probably kill you (it is a B-Movie, zombie based, and clearly warns of this in the description, mission, and has clues that warn of this, and the boss name foreshadows the end).

    (2) Sign of the Zodiac. A secretive enemy is behind assassinations of arachnos and longbow, each assassination framing the opposing group. War between them has spilled out into the streets of Paragon City, it is up to you to stop the war between these factions, and stop whoever is behind it.

    I'd appreciate feedback to polish the textual content of both. I have added clues, enemies have "info", missions have details. Some of it just doesn't read well enough imo, it would be nice to get the content more polished.

  10. The spamming is getting annoying. I petition each time I get a new one, and ignore/gignore, but its is going to fill my list
  11. I lost 1.6 million influence from bids I had outstanding. How will this get resolved? What if the bid came through, so I had the items? What if part of it did, so 1 of 2 I was bidding on came in, and I still had 100,000 outstanding?\

    I'll go out on a limb here, and say none of it will be resolved, its not resolvable except for the most simple of situations. trying to restore this complex point in time data where there was some kind of bug in the process, isn't gonna happen, at least not for situations like mine.

    This isn't a huge deal to me, but it has made me lose my trust in the system. WT_ is up with a bug fix a couple of days after months of pre-live testing, then an immediate clusterf rollback? Rushing code to production = mistake.

    What happens next time a hotfix comes out? Shocks through the keyboard?

    LMAO, are controllers catching the 'Woe is me Bug' from defenders now? I love seeing posts like this, stating that such and such is useless, whether it be an AT or a mechanic such as controller holds. Really shows a lack of comprehension about doing anything in the late game other than watching Fire Tankers herd.

    so maybe you are on to something, only tanks are not useless.

    Currently heroes have a boombox and the ability to dance to this music.

    Id like villains to have an equal number of evil laughs, and evil laugh animations to select from to accompany them.

    Spectral Terror

    Any change to Spectral Terror is effecting the embedded Cloak of Fear, arguably one of the best powers in the /DA line and one of the things that makes a really really weak defensive set survivable. The nerf to that portion of Spectral Terror would significantly wreck /DA, to the point where I think it needs to be entirely segregated from the Spectral Terror version.

    please make /DA Cloak of Fear its own power, not tied to Spectral Terror, and leave /DA Cloak of Fear alone.

    Cloak of Fear, when used by /DA, is neither overpowered in PvP nor in PvE. It is integral to the survivability of a /DA scrapper.

    Seperate these two powers before "fixing", "nerfing", "modifying" or whatever term you want to use in regards to what you are doing to Spectral Terror
  17. instead of experience debt, lets have "Debt to Society".

    You dont gain any exp til its paid off, and cannot engage in PvP. Its in the form of community service, x# hours (missions) required (based on level). you go around the city (in the form of "Missions", reporting back to a parole officer) cleaning up the trash bins, removing graphitti, and generally helping beautify the place a bit. It would also serve to insentiveize the criminals, if they were marked in some way so everyone could see that they were on community service, and all those missions were located in Atlas/Galaxy I know I would be pissed after one or two of those, really want to get some heroes back too i bet.

    if AoE is nerfed, I want to see resists cap at 90% total (meaning cumulative of all damage types resisted...), single target damage reduced, defender buffs and debuffs capped at 10%, heals capped to 100 points, and speed capped to a slow jog.

    so the game is harder at low level, and missions are crazy hard for lowbies in certain archetypes (ie anything without really powerful low level defense), but what is the big deal with that? I mean, its all either new subscribers who we dont want around anyway, or folks interested in trying a new AT out, who should be back playing their main toon and only their main toon.

    stop complaining so much about problems that actually are features.

    i think it should be near impossible to get through outbreak, nip the whole "new user" or "alt" thing in the bud. let the outbreak contaminated all have mass chain holds and lvl 32 nukes i say.

    at least that would be more challenging...
