ROFLMAO!!!! I love it.

I think what the "comic book lifestyle" some people think it is, is someone who spends $50+ a week on comic and other stuff; wears nothing but t-shirts with comic characters on them. Don't get me wrong, I've been a comic/SciFi/Fantasy geek for decades and I'm afraid this could give the comic sellers a bad name. Most of mainstream usually think comic buyers need to "get a life", and this might just prove it. Of course I just might be over thinking it and it just might do well. It would be nice to see something like this succeed.

I just thought everyone would like to see these....I find I am looking forward to seeing this film.
Quote:http://www.superherohype.com/news/ar...enger-tv-spotsThe film focuses on the early days of the Marvel Universe when Steve Rogers volunteers to participate in an experimental program that turns him into the Super Soldier known as Captain America. -
Apparently even Disney is getting on the 'convert to 3d' bandwagon with the Lion King.
Quote:If you want to see the trailer for the 3D release here you go...The Oscar-winning film will arrive in 3-D for the first time on September 16, 2011, but it's only sticking around in theaters for a two-week window. If you miss it in theaters, however, you can see it on DVD: Disney is also releasing "The Lion King" in Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3-D starting October 4.

Yep they ran the Smurfs trailer during "American Idol" tonight. I am not impressed or amused. It reminds me of Underdog and Yogi Bear and I wasn't impressed with those either.

I think the actors might be a bit TOO tall for the character's their portraying. Just seems to me Moe and Larry are way taller than Curly. Of course it could also be the angle of the shot too, but since I don't know what the premise of the movie is I guess I will have to hold my judgment.
Quote:http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=77999In these exclusive photos you can catch a first glimpse of Will Sasso (left with back to camera below) as Curly, Chris Diamantopoulos (using eye dropper) as Moe, and, of course, Sean [Hayes] (in the middle) as Larry." -

Some one made the joke as to why the Rapture didn't happen so I just had to share this....

I see no problem with this, in fact I think it's a great idea. IMO most collectors wouldn't even purchase those old tattered comics cause there would be little to no value in them. I wonder if you can sell some of your old beat up comics to Upper Decks directly.

Quote:Oh man do I remember those days... When it was Macho Man, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Ricky the Steamboat Willy, the Sheik and more. Those were fun days watching them run around the ring. I think he was the one who started using the chair on his opponents all the time, but I could be wrong.I was a fan of the WWF back when he first came in there.
He was amazing.
For those who understand and enjoy this entertainment aspect of old time pro wrestling, he played such an amazing heel. The character of the better than everyone else attitude, but ran and hid and cheated and quickly ducked behind his female manager when things got a little too tough for him... he did it wonderfully, but more impressively he leapt and ran around with such agility and courage.
Seriously... He did things, that seemed as simple as a flick of the wrist to him, that were not exactly safe.
Just the way he'd exit the ring, he'd fling himself over the top rope and land on his feet on the cement below (they didn't have pads down there back then).
Even better... he'd place his opponent's neck over the top rope, and hold him down choking on it... Then (as the referee would scold him and push him back away) Macho man would race off the far ropes, across the ring and leap over his opponent (still with his head and neck draped over the top rope), pull his opponent's head down onto the top rope for an extreme clothesline as Macho Man nimbly landed down on the cement outside of the ring.
Often times, he'd scoot back up and climb atop the ropes and leap onto his opponent again.
Most thrillingly, one of his signature maneuvers was to get his opponent outside of the ring... perch himself on the top rope and leap all the way down into the ringside floor, nailing his opponent with a two-fisted double axe handle to their head (Air Superiority for the win).
And, of course, his trademark finisher...
With his opponent laying prone on their back in the ring, Macho Man would stand poised upon the top rope, arms raised high above his head before leaping higher than I'd seen anyone leap off of those ropes, landing down with his heavy flying elbow drop.
I can't tell you how many times I flew off of a diving board, mimicking that maneuver, haha.
I got to see him, with my Father, at a few live wrestling events in new Jersey and New York's Madison Square Garden.
I haven't watched any wrestling in years, but I always love thinking back on the wild entertainment I enjoyed from some of the more amazing talents back then.
He was my favorite back then... before he turned Good! (boo!)
I'll also never forget his comment after winning the Intercontinental Championship by punching out Tito Santana (via illegal brass knuckles hidden in his tights)... (And you may hear my quote it in my best Macho man impression form time to time)...
"One big hand from the Macho Man sent Tito Santana to the promise land... OH YEAHHHHHH!!"
Thanks for the thrills, Randy "Macho Man" Savage.
I still have Macho Madness!
R.I.P. Randy you will be missed...
I just found out he was also a minor league baseball player forQuote:St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds and Chicago White Sox, but a shoulder injury sidetracked his baseball career.

I also didn't know he was from Downer's Grove IL. -
I am sooo not impressed with this clip....

It already seems too predictable to me. Personally I think the big shot will take one look at Bumblebee and want him for his collection.

It so cool I had to tell some of my friends about it... have to wonder if it's safe against those pesky thriller zombies.
-
I can't get in through the launcher, but have been able to get in through the old log-in and played for a while. Hope this isn't a chronic problem.
just my two cents.... -
I'm having the same problem with the launcher. It keeps telling me either there is a problem with my internet connection or the launcher is down. And I know I don't have a problem with my internet connection.
just my two cents... -
That means we are now going to have to demand the ability to email XP to our other characters, just like inf/inf/inf.

... sorry, those doing Manticore or anything else that needs a hunt.
Edit: Checking chatlog to see if it was more than that, it's more than Victory - several comments at the same time about Triumph, too.

Quote:maybe because of this? For a guy who thought doing the voice work in the original transformers movie was the worst thing he ever did, I wonder why he's doing a voice for the new movie!
Quote:Michael Bay had wanted to ask him to provide a voice for the second film, "Revenge of the Fallen." "I was too scared to ask him," the director told the magazine. "Plus, hes married to Susan Bay, whos a cousin of mine. So I had to be careful. Ive met him at family functions. But he told me, I would be honored. Im glad to be back!"
