Looking forward to this... :-)

I would like to stress that we are not looking to battle it out with villains. We are there for the shivans and the badges. If we stick together and don't venture off from the group, we have the best chance of success. This is a fun activity which, when successful, gives out a very powerful temp power. Once everyone has their Shivans, we can stay in the zone and do battle with villains.

WoW, another CoH'er! Welcome to the game. This players on this forum are very helpful and will give you good information. Whenever I need help with a problem game-wise, I come here. And I'm a 33-month veteran and still need help.

I think that's a good idea, Isis. I enjoyed the adventure even though I was defeated many, MANY times. I'd like to see a PvP build for a electric/energy blaster, or for a fire/fire blaster. I can probably afford to have one of them with a second build. So, if you know anyone who has a working PvP build, please have them post his/or her build on the boards.

It looks as though I may be able to make it after all on Saturday. I will bring an appropriate toon.

It was fun in RV. The villains definitely had us heroes at a disadvantage. Wish I could have stayed until the end.. but a long distance phone call from an old friend pulled me away from the computer. Thanks Ghost Blader and MightyIsis for your help.
-
Happy birthday, Ironblade! May you have many, many more.
-
I wish you good luck with the event. I am one of those Americans who have plans for the weekend. So, have fun, kick *ss, and rid Paragon City of evil critters.
-
As far as I know, you can have only one power be on automatic.
-
I will be there in one form or another. Hopefully Icy will be 40 by then, but if not, I have others who are 40+.
-
The venture into Warburg went off rather well. Everyone who wanted the temp power was able to get it as well as the badges. We had a few encounters with villains - which made the event more fun. This was my first time leading this event in Warburg, so it was a learning experience. My thanks to Ghost Blader and Hercules for providing protection and running interference with the local critters that inhabit the zone. And thank you MightyIsis for your help as a villain. And to the Gentleman mastermind. You were a good sport.. thanks for being there.

Taxibot Icy (lvl 39) will take part in the Eden Trial. Delila Hazard wants the day off.
-
I'm not sure if Delila Hazard will be level 39 by Saturday, but I'll bring someone to the trial if not Delila.
-
One posibility could be that one of the objectives was to keep the hero from escaping. While you were afk, he may have escaped. Who is your contact and what was the mission name?
-
I'll be there..... oh wait, I'm the leader, so come join the fun.
-
Delila Hazard will be there - machine gun and trip mines as well.
-
We had a couple of takers on our Bloody Bay excursion, and they were successful in getting their shards. We had a bit of "trouble" with villains who challenged us. We won the first round, but they managed to get even.. until we got one up on them again. So thank you, villains, for adding spice to the evening. I really would have given those samples back to you, since I had to leave the zone. I offered.. none of you took me up on the offer. O well.. it was lots of fun.
-
I'll be there in one form or another. Delila has the badge and temp power, so I'll most likely bring one who hasn't done this tf.
-
I am leading a Bloody Bay expedition next Tuesday.. it's a Taxibot activity. I will be on Taxibot Icy. We go as a team and usually have no problems getting the shivens.
-
Please sign up Delila Hazard for team 2. She's level 32/33 assault/device blaster.
-
I'm not leaving either! I have too much fun and too much invested in this game. This game is getting better.. and I love MA and am very excited about Going Rogue. Champions does not even interest me - not in the least.
-
Delila Hazard is now within the range to do this tf. She's all excited about it.

I'm tired of hearing from folks who are leaving the game because the devs are trying to make the game challenging, and fun with limited exploitation. So many people are screaming "No Fair!" because their ability to exploit the game is being curtailed. Other MMO's do pretty much the same thing. They want to reduce the ease at which players exploit the game. Players think it's their right to "play the game the way they want to" even though it hurts others. And, yes, farming excessively does hurt others.... how do you think RMT'ers get their influence/infamy? They exploit the game... getting salvage, recipes, etc.. sell them for lots of influence.. then sell that influence for real money. And there are plenty of players who buy the influence which is against EULA. If there weren't customers for it, they'd soon go out of business. I think those who complain the most should go to another game... and find something to moan about there. So you folks who love to farm... find a game where farming IS the game... and farm to your hearts' content. Or perhaps, stick around here and play the game the way it is intended to play. (What a novel idea.)
