Invincible Positron Task Force Sat July 4th
I wish you good luck with the event. I am one of those Americans who have plans for the weekend. So, have fun, kick *ss, and rid Paragon City of evil critters.
Hmm - I'm one of the "Americans who don't have plans", so I may be able to show up. I will know better later in the week. Here in Columbus, OH, the big fireworks is actually on July 3, and brings 500-600,000 people to our downtown - not at all my idea of a fun time, way too many people.
If I can be there, I'm not sure what I would bring, since I don't currently have anyone in range for XP - but who knows who might be new and in range by then!

I'm in...I'd prefer to bring my empathy healer Mandalas. I think team one sounds fun, but I'll run whichever the group needs me on.

I just thought of something, are you running the invincible without temp powers? If so, I need to be on team two because I only have temp travel powers and I don't want to ruin it for everyone by using them.

I'll be there. I have a lvl 24 Plant/Thermal Rad troller (Empyreal Flare) that needs that TF.
Thanks!

For Ouroboros missions, it is common to run with temp powers disabled and/or other limitations because there are badge rewards for completion.
For the Master of the Statesman Task Force (MoSTF), this is actually the Statesman Task Force with two challenges: Zero defeats allow, and no temp powers.
Aside from Ouro and MoSTF, I don't think people often run other task forces with temp powers disabled because people are indifferent to temp powers on a team that works well. Perhaps this would be different if task forces had badge rewards like Ouro adventures.
Regardless, keep in mind that the taxis should be able to use Recall Friend to help minimize travel time for the teams.
For those that eschew travel powers for temp versions, keep in mind that temp powers can run out at inopportune times, and that regular travel powers can be slotted for greater speed and invention set bonuses.

Ok, I've got a lvl 19 martial arts zombie, a lvl 19 assault rifle clown, and a lvl 20 healer viking. I'll bring whatever works best for the team makeup. Just let me know.

Fie on you. I took a brute to level 50 without a 'real' travel power.
My shield tank didn't get Superjump until level 41. And he only took it because he was tired of trudging uphill through all that snow.
Anyway, sign me up. I'll bring Ironblade since every one of my heroes on Infinity has done this TF.

Wow! I'm so glad we have a full team signed up already! When/if more sign up, I'll reorganize everyone to make the two teams.
Freedom Phalanx and the city appreciates all our hard, dedicated work, these long years. In turn, we're now being entrusted with perhaps some of the most difficult assignments imaginable, where there is no option than to succeed. To begin with, Positron asks us to follow-up on the Vahzilok to determine whether they intend another attempt at poisoning the city's water supply. Make sure that your affairs are in order before beginning this.
Saturday July 4th 1:00pm EST (12 noon CST) (10:00am PST)
Meet at Positron in Steel Canyon
The range requirement is 10-15, with those above exemplared down to 15 automatically
Team One (Invincible):
1. Icy Hot Taxi Bot (team lead) - lvl 14 fire/ice blaster
2. Ad Astra - blaster/baby troller/defender of some sort
3. Mandalas - empathy healer
4. Scheol - zombie/clown/healer
5. GhostBlader - bringing a scrapper
6. Empyreal Flare - lvl 24 Plant/Thermal Rad troller
7. Ironblade - scrapper that likes to tank
8. (saved for Chelle depending on how many more sign up)
Team Two (Heroic):
1. Chelle Taxibot (team lead) - toon to be decided
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.
Note 1: This is a task force challenge series, where the team will seek a reasonably high difficulty level, depending upon the team composition.
Note 2: We do not speed run these adventures, though we do seek to make good time and enjoy being in the story.
Note 3: Previously, 3.5 hours were required for Positron, taking our time.
Note 4: For Team composition, the suggestion is to have 1-2 tankers, and 2-3 blasters for AoE crowd control. However, we will not blindly attempt a difficulty that is beyond the team makeup. The best approach is to begin at Heroic and then gradually increase the difficulty, per the team mood. This is our standard procedure when building pickup teams.

7. Ironblade - tank
[/ QUOTE ]
Actually, Ironshield is the tank. Since all my toons have done this TF, I'm bringing Ironblade, who is BS/regen.
Or did you mean that I'll be tanking on my scrapper? I can do that.

I am most likely bringing a blaster of some flavor, unless the team needs a baby troller or another defender.

IronX: Oop my mistake I'm a scrapper at heart and always loved tanking her. So feel free!
Okay, another American here, but it's early enough for me to participate! Please add Eagle Star, lvl 50 Kin/Elec Defender to where she might be needed. Hopefully there will be a place for her.
It looks as though I may be able to make it after all on Saturday. I will bring an appropriate toon.
working on a new toon, he is lvl 4 now.. should be able to get to lvl 10 by saturday.. Please add Doctor A Science IV spine/dark scrapper....

Maybe you didn't read all my posts very carefully Ironblade. This week is not being run entirely as normal because of the holiday in the US. No one (except for one who thought we were disabling temp powers) has specified team one or two because we were not sure if there would be enough people signing up for two teams.
By all means, if anyone has a preference, please speak up. I will put you where you'd like to be, as long as the teams are still mostly even.
Hi, This is Taxidermy's sister logged into her account.
Her computer has exploded and she is trying to get it fixed tonight, but she may or may not be able to make it for 1:00pm tomorrow. If someone wants to step up and lead team one, please do so. Have fun, and her apologies.
Have fun with that Invincible Posi, I hope you've got clear mind on the team...short of that, stack up on break frees. I don't have 4th of July plans per se, but I do have to travel to NYC to go to a wedding. Personally I'd rather go to the dentist than spend about 15 hours round trip on this *&^%$ wedding (sigh), but oh well. See you guys next weekend. . . and Johnny, even though it would be out of order, how about if we do the new 5th column TF?
i vote ironblade to lead team one >.>

Being that it's a holiday in the USA, it's understandable that many Americans will not be able to make it out this Saturday. I, however, am Canadian, and am still going to lead a team for any other Non-Americans or Americans-Without-Plans who are interested. I chose to do a lower level tf this time, to get my alternate Taxibot out of the garage
>>Great news!! Chelle Taxibot is back!! She has offered to lead Team Two, and if there are not enough participants we'll merge the two teams together or split the members or otherwise arrange something.
