Hey! Sign me up for either team with room. I'll either bring Countess Natasha (45 plant/storm controller) or Azure Underground (50 ma/shields scrapper).. probably Azure.
-
I WILL be there on Saturday! Sign me up for team One please, with either Countess Natasha 45 plant/storm controller (will be 46 by then) or if she's not ready, then Azure Underground lvl 50 ma/shield scrapper.
Looking forward to it! I feel like I've almost lost my Saturday Task Force grooooove. -
I won't be able to make it tomorrow, sorry Johnny.
-
oh and
*runs off to check which sg is #44*
*dodges anything Ironblade may be throwing her way* -
Ironblade, I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but that is the closest thing I've seen you post that resembles empathy to your fellow players, instead of the matter-of-fact, ruthlessly honest, This-Is-The-Way-It-Is, Call-You-Out-On-Sh%& way you normally have. It's nice to see!

I'll be there either as Taxi Dermy (41 ws) or Countess Natasha (45 plant/storm controller). Probably Countess. Either team is fine with me.

Excellent advice with the SATA cable. I didn't have a lot of control over the situation, because the guy fixing it is a friend of my husband's who works in IT and was working on it in his spare time between midnite and 4am apparently. BUT WE GOT IT BACK TODAY!!!!!!! I'm stoked. And I'm waiting for all the patches and updates and stuff to apply.
oh wait... YAHOO IT'S DONE!!!! -
Hi,
Taxi Dermy's sister here.
Unfortunately, due to ongoing technical difficulties, she won't be able to attend tomorrow.
A direct quote:
/ "This sucks. I hate hate hate not having my computer. Not just for coh; for everything. It's soo frickin annoying that it's been 3 weeks since this guy said he could fix it... I'm a-starting to lose confidence." -
i'm optimistic that i'll be back online this week. please sign me up for team one. cross yer fingers for me!
-
cool... I made a RIG a while ago and if my computer ever gets back to me I 'mma gonna let tony know *GRIN*
-
yes many thanks ironblade! again my apologies for not being there for my own idea. dumb viruses! hopefully it'll be fixed soon. i'm reduced to using my psp to post this. boo.
-
Hi. My computer is still at the shop but if I'm back up and there's room I'd like a spot... or at least a place in line as an alt. Thanks.
-
Hi, This is Taxidermy's sister logged into her account.
Her computer has exploded and she is trying to get it fixed tonight, but she may or may not be able to make it for 1:00pm tomorrow. If someone wants to step up and lead team one, please do so. Have fun, and her apologies. -
Maybe you didn't read all my posts very carefully Ironblade. This week is not being run entirely as normal because of the holiday in the US. No one (except for one who thought we were disabling temp powers) has specified team one or two because we were not sure if there would be enough people signing up for two teams.
By all means, if anyone has a preference, please speak up. I will put you where you'd like to be, as long as the teams are still mostly even. -
Geeks and nerds are not automatically funny. You are, but not everyone.
Glad you're coming next saturday! Bring new jokes. -
~Updating the Roster~
***Note that some of you have been reorganized.***
Freedom Phalanx and the city appreciates all our hard, dedicated work, these long years. In turn, we're now being entrusted with perhaps some of the most difficult assignments imaginable, where there is no option than to succeed. To begin with, Positron asks us to follow-up on the Vahzilok to determine whether they intend another attempt at poisoning the city's water supply. Make sure that your affairs are in order before beginning this.
Saturday July 4th 1:00pm EST (12 noon CST) (10:00am PST)

Note 1: This is a task force challenge series, where the team will seek a reasonably high difficulty level, depending upon the team composition.
Note 2: We do not speed run these adventures, though we do seek to make good time and enjoy being in the story.
Note 3: Previously, 3.5 hours were required for Positron, taking our time.
Note 4: For Team composition, the suggestion is to have 1-2 tankers, and 2-3 blasters for AoE crowd control. However, we will not blindly attempt a difficulty that is beyond the team makeup. The best approach is to begin at Heroic and then gradually increase the difficulty, per the team mood. This is our standard procedure when building pickup teams.

I'm a scrapper at heart and always loved tanking her. So feel free!

Wow! I'm so glad we have a full team signed up already! When/if more sign up, I'll reorganize everyone to make the two teams.

Being that it's a holiday in the USA, it's understandable that many Americans will not be able to make it out this Saturday. I, however, am Canadian, and am still going to lead a team for any other Non-Americans or Americans-Without-Plans who are interested. I chose to do a lower level tf this time, to get my alternate Taxibot out of the garage
>>Great news!! Chelle Taxibot is back!! She has offered to lead Team Two, and if there are not enough participants we'll merge the two teams together or split the members or otherwise arrange something.

Even though we had a false start and some graphics issues for some (the arch villain wall kept disappearing) we managed to pull together as a team and succeed in today's trial. My thanks to the ever-so-experienced Green Gravitic for the guidance and tactical advice, and also to Akarie and Pyrhiccup for filling in at the last minute. Everyone did a great job in their respective roles.

1.5 levels to get Dermy to 39 by Saturday. If not, I'll bring Countess Natasha, 45 plant/storm controller.
