Gives me less of a distraction when studying for my last Final tonight, on about the single most meandering and pointless class I think I've ever taken. Other students have professed that they have absolutely no idea what to study for since the instructor at no point has ever given a clear answer as to what will be on the test, so they pretty much just stopped and hope that it isn't crazy in-depth questions about some obscure thing we never discussed in class.

Then I get to go to the meet-n-greet tomorrow, and that will be awesome provided I can afford a drink and snag my first evar costume code. So I guess that makes up for if I fail the final.

...now that I think about it, posting here kind of defeats the point of this thread, huh?

The Halloween event starts October 20th, So money is on either 10/11/11, which gives them more than a week to deal with launch bugs before the event starts, or November 8th, the Tuesday after the event ends.

i needs no ticketz? **** son, that's the day after my final final(!) I could use a drink.

And sadly, my couch is already claimed by a friend of a friend. Both of who are going to pax, and I'm not. I may stab them while they sleep.

One thing I forgot to ask, what should I aim for regarding my alpha slot?

I have a second build for low-levels, so exemping down isn't going to be an issue with this build.

Recently managed to get an old concept too to 50, and now that I've unlocked her alpha slot, I'm 'stuck' trying to decide where to go from here. Made a build based on a wp/axe thread, but was unsure what slotting changes occur between mace and axe. Also, I went off on my own for a power or two just for the lulz.

Any thoughts? No purps or pvp io's in this, could buy a few of them if I really, really would benefit from them. Anything that I'm blatantly missing?

I like the wording on "roughly three times a minute", gives a better feeling that just giving a number %.

Also, I noticed the AO (archetype origin?) listing "Control Duration" instead of sleep/immob/hold/etc, I wonder if other enhancements will get this. Would be a boon to trollers/domi's/pretty much everything.

11.6 ATI drivers were crashing about every 20-30 minutes for me.

Downgraded to 11.3, been stable since.

I liked the hybrid F2P thing, I hope this change doesn't make the userbase flip out *too* badly.

Back when I was playing EQ, I decided that I'd roll a character for RP purposes, but could not think of a name, so I spent about 5 minutes with the (terrible) Random name generator until a long, convoluted name caught my eye. I shortened it, added an 'n', and Lenilya was born.

Kept it as a character and/or global in every game since.

Ha! I'm the opposite.

I'm that student that sent the instructor a message 24 hours before the midterm saying I couldn't make it due to a job interview (which i didn't even end up getting) all in accordance with the test makeup policy.

She says she never got it, and I wouldn't be able to make up the midterm. I had to jump through so many friggin hoops to prove that I really did send the message (it was even via the school's own messaging system!) that I finally was able to take it. Two weeks late. On a day I normally have no classes. Ugh.

I better get full credit >.<

The last time I reformatted, I decided just to do a fresh install of CoH. I was suprised by how quick the process has become, instead of wasting time backing up, transferring, downloading and 'fixing' files the download itself was only about 20 minutes, and I was able to generate new options files in game by simply logging onto a character who was previously 'correct', save them, and load them on all the other characters.

Cliffnotes:
Those of you with higher-end computers/bandwidth may try a fresh install next time instead of trying to transfer over an old install.

anyhoo, I'm betting the wrong character was awarded the badge. Icicle FaIL sure does look like Icicle FaLL in many fonts...

('Icicle Fall' was taken , so I used an uppercase 'I' to make it look like Fall, but the real name sadly, is 'Icicle Fail'... which if you know the source isn't too far off...)
