how should i pair them up? also, can't choose between time and dark. I just wanna get the most out of each pairing. Thanks in advance

So in my 4 years of playing this game i have never been genericed till recently. My elec/thermal corr was named Godamn Electric Bill (couldn't fit 2 d's). Now I'm not complaining, I honestly should have seen it coming. I'm just wondering what words are and are not allowed, and if there's a list of these words anywhere. Would I be allowed to say just Damn Electric Bill? or do i have to say darn or dang?
Also for some reason I was under the impression that if they change your name you get a rename token the first time, but apparently that's not the case?

Well mostly. I still do some duels with a friend where i try to sap em.

Can someone post a good elec/therm build? I've been searching for hours and not finding much in recent history plus i'm getting sleepyyyyy. Much appreciated thank you. (this is for teams mostly with a low to moderate budget thank you).

I vote for starting out on Virtue, and maybe give Freedom a try later. It'll shape you better as a player.

Will dark/poison still be good once they "fix" the hold?

I have rolled not one but two ill/storm controllers to level 50. With my altitus, this is really saying something. I've tried every powerset and so many combinations and I have yet to find something I enjoy playing as much as an ill/storm controller. (Sorry if this gets a bit ranty, my blood sugar's really low right now). I'm trying to say 3 things with this post:

1: Isn't it just beautiful when you find a pair of powersets that fit you just perfectly? and you're happy playing forever? what's your favorite?

2: It's really a shame how all sets are starting to look the same, especially control sets. What I love about illusion is it's so different from all the others. I think we need more variety in our powersets.

3: Do any of you know another combination that has a similar play style to ill/storm? if so i'd love to try it.

My favorite character to play in my 5 years of altitus is an ill/storm controller. I have 2 of them at lvl 50.

I'm gonna have to withdraw from this event, got a new summer job that's gonna get in the way.

Hello everyone, i'm a returning player who kinda quit after the whole i13 thing (I used to pvp on Liberty, back when we had people) I learned to pvp on my first and favorite character, an ill/storm controller. I was just wondering what are the FTM's these days? I should note that i stick to arena about 90% of the time, and I have pretty limited funds.
It would also be great if you could point out what would be better in 1vs1 (what I do mostly) and in team arena (what i hope to do more of). Thanks in advance

Thanks again Thany I got into Virtue .. Funny but before I log in to forum I see west coast time like on Aventea's recent post . When I log into forum I get a European or Australian time zone.. Any way my son says he wont log on while the Server Status page says all are down.. He's worried about bugs or losing stuff I guess.
