Statesman, I love you and all, but does that mean the date's too early or too late?

I think if someone could get to deciphering Positron's and Statesman's posts it'd be a "fire" post immediatly...

So far, the goal for CoV is:

CoH alone: $15

But since nothing is finite, this might chance (and I'm with you guys; if they start charging double, they'll probably lose half their subscribers anyways)

/e playdead (really dramatic, thespian death. very overdone)
/e disgust (when all my minions die at once, i want my villain to shake his head and bury it in one of his hands. like "why do i pay them?")
/e freeze (villain freezes in action and doesn't move an inch. or poses like he was running and time stopped around him)

and if it's possible, i want a 'point and laugh" for when my archenemy dies.

I'm beginning to hate meself: I saw tuesday in the announcement but my mind registered thursday... and i managed to get thurs off for some good PCC and playin...

well, at least i'll have the real thing this weekend... for 10 minutes.

I can certainly see the detective skills (which is good, since my character was a "detective" back when I wrote his bio, so this is perfect) but I fail to see how in-game goals would exist for people in Science. Especially without tool/power results.

Are these skills going to be more assosiative, i.e. will my guy

1. need to find the clues
2. bring them to a scientist who analyzes them
3. give the clues to my guy who brings in a "perp" who is then...
4. interrigated by a Communication guy and finally
5. handed over to a Scholar (LAWYER!?) for trial and punishment?

I guess that we'll soon (me being optimistic) see.

Hey, I'm all for the whole teleport through walls deal and if I had found out that it could be done prepatch, I wouldn't have made a fuss since teleport really needs help. But now that it's changed it's not going to be changed back. It simply will not because you were exploiting a map-bug. (and I am sorry that it was fixed because porters, although it's supposed to be a great travel power, it isn't.)

But I'm all for a range increase on Port and better depth control of your teleporting.

I hope the great thingy comes out before thursday.... because if now i'm going to be too... aw, who am I kidding, I'd quit my job for this.

I don't think so... partially because it sounds like he just started a thred to give him "stars" and the other half is... i don't want riddles!

I was thinking like real fed-ex missions where it's like a story arch but no door misisons (just tons of ambushes) and on top of that, detective missions like "Arcanum's" (best game ever, and please don't bother disagreeing. I'm just too stubborn) where you click on a guy and all of a sudden you have the 4 or 5 options on how to continue the conversation. And you can eventually talk him into telling you by picking up a package for him or just click on the "That's it, you're boring. I'll take payment from your hide instead" command (After this, I think I'm going to play arcanum..)

Just something like that. So controllers can finally solo. (which is funny because once they get their pets, the game is suddenly such a grind they don't keep playing...)

This is post getting to be pretty ugly.... my opinion is that if people did pay that thy can do whatever they want as long as no one is offended. The best mentality to maintain is the fact that this is not a compitition, that no one is getting a prize for level 50, and by power leveling, people are simply cheating themselves out of 15 dollars a month, money which you have spent well because you are enjoying the game.

Although I know that they will hate people for just blurting out badges (and eventually add in earned badges, they fly foxes) this is a bump cause I want to see some more of these

(tourist ones are only really fun to read info on, not to fun to find while running for your life)

I always wondered how the hell I did the bow and arrow animation that one time with my tank... now that I've moved on to a new character, I guess that it's too late to try

I'm actually going to make a new blaster just to have a flyer and try this out. Thanks a lot, guys.
