  1. Do not hate on "Mint-Berrryyyy Crrrrrrrrr-UNCH!"

Apparently it's Bradley, but I'm not familiar... perhaps Wiki will have info...

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...ark_Elementary

Bradley (voiced by Matt Stone) is a background character who speaks ocasionally, making his first significant appearance in the "Coon 2: Hindsight" story arc as Mint-Berry Crunch. He plays a fair sized role in the arc, fighting alongside Coon and Friends as well as against the Coon himself.
  2. Well, not to be logical or anything, but this reminds me of a bad tactic in a lot of movie fights I've seen...

"OK, send in an invasion ship... How did it do?"
"Failed sir, we couldn't get a foothold."
"Ah, well, wait a few hours, then send in another ship... How did it do?"
"Failed again sir, they held us back. We were close for a few moments, but no dice."
"Very well, try again in a few hours."
"If I may suggest, sir... Perhaps we should CONCENTRATE our attacks, instead of spreading them out? You know, "Overwhelming force," "Shock and Awe," "The best kind of kill is OVERkill," "Never bring a knife to a gunfight?"
    ...
    <<
    >>
"Excuse me? Did I just hear you QUESTION my Authority?? Or perhaps you think me INCOMPETENT?"
    ...
(after the choking subsides...) "Nnno, sssir. One at a time, as you command."
  3. Very happy with this pack. My mutant characters can't get enough of the Atomic aura! I have to explore more of them in the CC.

Until the Devs can figure out how to give us a new Booster Pack that provides an infinite number of new options they're never going to be able to satisfy everyone. If you didn't like what they gave us this time then I guess you lucked out. Sorry. *shrugs*
I can't BELIEVE they wouldn't give us an infinite number of new options PLUS ONE!
  5. Never played pvp seriously, dabbled in it a few times, but never really committed to 'learning' it... now I'm taking Masque's "PVP University" on Victory (see Victory forum for info).
Not trying to be cold, but I think it's like all things that change: some people adapt, some people don't. If you like the game enough to adapt, then I think you might find some fun, but the old way of PVPing is gone.

Might be a good thing, since with all your Hami-o's, a new person may never have had a chance to challenge your numerical superiority, even with strong tactics. It's pretty disheartening to enter the PVP zone as a newbie and get crash-spiked instantly, repeatedly, by a 'super-pvp'er', I can tell you from experience...

And a very happy long-time-pvper may be of less value to NCSoft than a number of somewhat satisfied newbies. Isn't it more fun when you have a challenge, rather than when you whupp the other guy every time? One set of FOtM's has turned into a different set of FotM's - is that bad merely because it isn't YOUR FotM?

Like in all combat, when the rules of the game change, you have to adapt to the situation. I think there's still fun to be had in PvP, but you may need a different playstyle than the one you originally learned.

I thought the (original) commercial was very good as well. Now I think he's a bit less of a d-bag. And the spoof was spot-on, I was amazed at how fast the SP writers can turn stuff around from current events.
  7. EDIT: Thanks Kobolt, but I'm having to change the time to 9PM EST, RL has interfered. I hope we can get a good turnout, we'l need about 40-50 people.

    For my most favorite server:

    Something for Everyone!

For the heroic: The Rikti are INVADING! We have to stop the ba******!

For the explosion-oriented: Big Ship Flying! BLOW BIG STUFF UP! FUNFUN!

For the masochistic: You’re GUARANTEED (almost) to get waxed at least once!

For the PLers: Take a break from that XP grind!

For those about to rock: WE SALUTE YOU!
(apologies to ac, but mostly to dc.)

It's time to take down a Rikti Dropship! (Or 2, or 15!)

    Reward: NONE!

    Loot: NONE!

    Why then? BECAUSE IT'S THERE!

Let's all meet up in Peregrine Island at Portal Corps and get set up there, shall we? (Buy Jet Packs!!)

This thread has some great information on getting it done, and some cool videos. Especially Olantern’s post.

Victory must pwn the dropships. In the face. Tell your friends!

[Somebody record this thing when it happens!]
  8. Or the commercial he (Cartman) spoofs (don't want to spoil it). I think these 3 eps are in my top 5 of all of them, esp. because of the superhero element.
  9. I'm amazed no one has posted about this, if they have, sry...

Last episode of South Park was about Cartman's ostensible heroic "supergroup" called "Coon and Friends", where they're trying to do 'good' and such... (with Cartman, a loaded phrase...), and it ended on a cliffhanger, sorta...

    (Spoiler alert!!!)

and then in the next episode, he TOTALLY GOES ROGUE and teams up with Cthulhu!!

Hilarious! How did no one comment on this yet?
  10. May I ask, What is a "Rice" build?

The fact that you say that is exactly the reason the devil would choose such a disguise. He's sneeeeeeeaky like that.
  12. Remember to sleep. I know, more important things to do, trick out your tank... but sleep is GOOD.
  13. Devastation: Hold anyone?
    Decimation: Build Up?
(For blasters with fast attacks, great mitigation and free extra damage)
  14. Here's an idea for a slow and fruitful start. Find two Acc/Dam set IO Melee recipes around L40-50 that are relatively cheap, and that you either have the salvage for, or that the salvage is relatively affordable.

Craft them (this will give you an idea of the crafting system, and the more you do it, the more you will understand the IO system in general, I think.)

Pick a power that has an Acc SO and a Dam SO, and replace them with your 2 newly crafted IOs. You should notice an immediate improvement in your orange numbers, for a low price. That should get the ball rolling for you. All the above advice is, of course, very good stuff and valuable. Start slow, and as you get the hang of it, read some of the forum guides on IOs. Patience is the key in stretching your IO 'dollar'. Also, you may run across a crazy Purple drop at some point - then you're options open up further.
  15. Dude, I did not expect a response so fast. Thanks for taking the time! I'll get working on it.
  16. Ok, so now that my hero is up to L20, what should I start taking powers-wise (grav/ta)? Thanks. I'm starting to read guides (with PVP in mind, of course), and looking at sets that coordinate with powers in the powersets. (I'm new to both of these powersets).
  17. Great, I think that covers it completely. Thanks again for your help!
  18. Hmm.. better to put it in FU or TT: Leadership?
  19. Simple question (I hope):
If I put the Gaussian Build Up Proc in Follow up, will the proc duplicate another Build up, or will it just overlap the Follow Up Build Up and be lost?

This was my first thought as well - for them to play, they will, by definition, be "less than" those signature heroes. And DC has to protect the integrity of their heroes...

I mean, who's going to drop $15 to see the next Batman movie if he just made him his Batbi*** on a TF?
