Rikti Practical Joke: No Invasion Invasion Weekend?

We're apparently doing too good of a job beating up Rikti because the Rikti invasions this weekend are...sporadic at best so far.

What I'm seeing on Virtue is lots of invasions, 2 or 3 zones being invaded simultaneously then nothing at all for hours.

The first time I played today I was able to participate in one raid. I waited around for the next one, and waited, and waited and nothing. Probably about an hour total I saw with no invasions.

Logged in tonight at 8:15 to get some Rikti stabbin' on, it is now 9:37 and I have yet to see a single Rikti raid happening. There has been a Zombie attack, a Halloween Banner and a fire in Steel, but no Rikti.

I remember that during invasion weekends past you could pretty much maintain an Invasion team, hopping from zone to zone fighting off new invasions. There might've been quick downtimes here and there with no invading, but nothing like this.

This all happened on Virtue, are any other servers experiencing this? I've got a few alts that need that Watchman accolade for weapons, so lets get this fixed ASAP please.

It'll spread out as the weekend progresses. I recall reading once a long time ago that the zones are all on the same semi-random timer so when they first flip the switch, all the invasions clump together but after a while they start to spread out.

On Virtue here, and I've seen the same thing. Sadly, this was my only day to spend much time going for the invasion badges, as I work this weekend. I really wanted that sword for my Stalker, too.

If it's truely broken, I hope they'll turn it back on next weekend, too. After fixing it, that is.

Virtue still appears to be having the same issue today.

Well, not to be logical or anything, but this reminds me of a bad tactic in a lot of movie fights I've seen...

"OK, send in an invasion ship... How did it do?"
"Failed sir, we couldn't get a foothold."
"Ah, well, wait a few hours, then send in another ship... How did it do?"
"Failed again sir, they held us back. We were close for a few moments, but no dice."
"Very well, try again in a few hours."
"If I may suggest, sir... Perhaps we should CONCENTRATE our attacks, instead of spreading them out? You know, "Overwhelming force," "Shock and Awe," "The best kind of kill is OVERkill," "Never bring a knife to a gunfight?"

I miss the old Rikti invasion where there was just tons of the bastards sitting around in all the zones replacing normal mob spawns.

I'm just glad the haloween event is over. It was implemented this year so abusively. Standing at stores/contacts getting ganked making it hard to buy or sell or talk to contacts. And then getting a Kill X of Y mission and having no such enemies around.

I must just be lucky- every time I log someone in to check the market it seems like there's an invasion going off. Picked up a level on my ice/rad controller this morning, he hadn't seen any game action in a few years.
