  1. just curious in a 3v3 these days is it all straight dmg or two dmg and a taunt bot? Does not seem like support has much of a role these days.

    Castle justified i13 as the vast majority wanting these changes when the active pvpers were totally against it. He posted once "for every one of you saying you don't want it I have 100 emails saying they do." Proof of that was the anti gank code they tried to impliment in pvp, which was the biggest complaint of pvers "I walk into rv and 10 heroes/villians jump me."

    Nevermind teaming fixed that. Persoanlly I wish they guy who wrote the "this is a pvp zone you can be attacked at any time" msg was in charge of pvp.

    The devs are not the few. They did not just dream up these changes. They capitulated to the vast majority who complained about pvp. The vast majority told them why they didn't like pvp so they changed it, and they still didn't show up and lost the pvpers they did have.

    p.s. Vindizzle was in Velocity one of the best pvp sgs in the game and probably around for most pvp changes before and after i12.

  7. Another point - the horror that is HD/TS/DR - the devs invited the then pvp community on to beta to test and give feedback. Whole sgs quit on the spot when they saw how out of touch the developers were if they thought this was what we wanted. Everyone, publicly and privatly hated it. They did it anyway, then post deployment gave us a limited ability to turn it off in arena. Every post from every red name community leader et all (if you bother to read the pvp forums) says "we know you hate ts/dr/hd..but).

    If pvp is so not worth their time or money why did they create whole sets of pvp ios? Not just throw away rewards for the less than double digit population you claim - but the most expensive rewards in the game.

    You think that a super hero/villian MMO is not served by created player vs player content?

  9. Not really since free play people would not be able to pvp and the problem to start is a lack of pvp population I think a lot of the old time pvpers would come back to play for free - even do some sg type arena stuff - if it was no hd no ts and no incarnates to make it even.
  10. not so much a matter of who hits the hardest - who lives the longest. Tanks have a higher hp cap if I remember correctly.Fury is broke in pvp and with GR you can get brute epics. Brutes get ea and sr so if you were looking to make a def based toon you have more options as a brute - Invuln has high resists and you can get dp to close to perma otherwise I would go elec for res and the heal. DM has - to hit im most every attack and an addtional self heal - they can be fun to play.

    nevermind the responses about it's already been said - how exactly do you plan to address this to the devs? Do you have access others (including actual NCSoft employees) do not? Supermax has been here since beta - as well as a few others so when they say we have tried...really really tried. We mean it. You have to realize although we think PVP is important we are a very small piece of a very big population. I would say 97% of the people who play coh could care less about pvp. Since we drive 3% of the revenue...we get about 3% of the attention. The devs have been asked several times in public forums and interviews about addressing pvp. The last response was they would look at it after incarnates...which looking at my slots still have a long way to go.
  12. BS/REGEN is just fine for zone pvp - you are a regen...and headsplitter is the shiz..plus crits - this one has phase and hiber - you should never die and outlive anyone except another regen.

    zones are fun when you get ion or pyro and a viki on your stalker - other than that most of the good people left - zones are full of bad players who now say they have never lost a duel. Have not seen a kickball in months.
  19. is money an issue? your slotting on some things is wrong - def on steamy mist is crap you should slot for res. Don't 5 slot snow storm, three at most. You need 2 min recharge ios in hasten, drop the regen proc and extra numina in heath, you just need num and miracle procs, you only need one end rdx in acro, total dom is horrible drop it. You have really low kb res.

    recharge gets dred down so anything over say 70 is moot. I am guessing you picked a lot of those powers for recharge boosting so you can drop
