  1. I have to be super specific with mission details with you I guess. I didn’t take into acct, during my 13-14 minute mission where I was enjoying lightning rod and waiting for it to recharge a few times so I could use 3 reds and BU to attack minions and or LTs. Just for fun. If I did a mish straight through I’m certain it would take a minute more than EM at most.

    And I don’t believe I failed to mention anything, if you take grounded alone, any time you jump you will get imobed or knocked back taking cj and having hurdle or cj slotted with jump will limit your mobility a lot less than just taking grounded by itself. Acro will prevent kb while in the air where grounded won't. That's what I meant.
  3. The last few hours of the RV event I was able to run 2 missions in Warburg with both my EM/Elec and my Elec/Elec, on relentless. I finished both within 4 minutes of each other….naturally em was faster of the two. But elec melee at 40 didn’t seem as bad in PvE as it did in PvP. I don’t think I’d ever go into a PvP zone with melee how it is. I mean regardless of being able to kill, over time, elec is just not an efficient PvP set at all. It may seem bad in PvE to some of you but I don’t really see that much of a problem…and I only took havoc, Jacobs, ts, and lightning rod. Also, each attack was slotted with two recharge as well as having hasten and lightning reflexes.

  4. Overall issues - too many holes currently to be a "good set"
    * no hp boost – Who cares really? Team with a /cold corruptor that has frostwork, covers that.
    * no self heal - Aid self…you can fit it in your build and be effective.
    * knockback/immobilize are too llimited – Imob will be the only problem you have if you take grounded alone and take something silly like jump kick. Lightning reflexes paired up wit h3 slotted hurdle or cj will give you all the mobility you need to counter any slow/webnade in PvE or PvP. Take web envelope and they will be on your level easy as that. Furthermore, KB is easily solved with acro.

    As for power sink, it functions exactly like its blaster counterpart which is just fine.

    Though I am disappointed with elec melee, I hold elec armor in high regards. I’m still rolling an /elec because I did well in PvP with SS and EM. Just have to pick one I want to roll….and I’d be ecstatic with either.

    I was going to add that toxic damage is my only concern but I’ll deal with it.
  5. Fury has not been fixed in PvP yet. Yeah I just logged off after getting a few kills with the the Elec/Elec I made, but what I did in I don't know how many hits with that one...I rolled up an Energy/Elec and did it in far less. Then rolled a Stone/Elec and a SS/Elec both seemed better in PvP and PvE than Elec Melee.
  6. Well I rolled an Elec/Elec right off the bat when I could log into test yesterday. I was totally let down. I really thought that once slotted SOs, melee would be great. The dmg was pitiful. I love, love, love lightning rod by far the best power and it’s awesome seeing the animation from above. However, I was turned off from making one due to weak damage in the late game. PvE was even a joke at lvl 40 all SOd up. I doubt one great power is worth investing 32 lvls in just for that power.

    I’d like to see a dmg increase somewhere. Otherwise I’d just have to pass once this hit live. I can’t just make a toon for PvE that would just be ridiculous!

    On a lighter note….elec armor at lvl 40 is exactly what I had hoped. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up on that set.
  7. I actually didn’t care about the XP for the arc so I just set my difficulty lvl to villainous and was pretty happy I did seeing how I had to face a few EBs and malta sappers.


    Web envelope –jump just like any webnade.
  8. A nerf to any –jump ability in the patron power would result in merc/, /traps, and /dev webnade nerfs as well. I can’t jump after being hit by a webnade even with a break free. So it would be global and I honestly don’t see it happening there would be no reason to it’s perfectly valid and fits into what the devs said about ppps being more powerful. Heroes no matter what kind of ‘complaining’ would have to evaluate the power of nearly every one of their ATs before ever complaining about 2 powers we can only use in one zone and or the arena.
  9. Just had to say I thoroughly enjoyed Scirocco’s story arc even despite having to face 8 ebs. This was the second patron arc I did and not one mission was bugged nor did I crash once while doin my thing.

    I failed a timed mission for black scorp due to crashed…it was refreshing to finish this arc with no issues…

  10. For finishing the last mayhem mission, before bed, I got 24 hours of more hp as a temp power. Hah added frostwork to the brute that I was running the mish with and put him near 2k hp. Payoff for finishing just made me love this aspect of issue 7 even more.

Oh man…this is an amazing feature...I’ve done 3 already and found some badges. first time i found a key, it was an arson mish and i just armed bombs and started burning i was like [censored] and got an arson bonus time...i laughed so hard i scared myself. These are just so much fun…so much more to do now. Worth the wait indeed.

    Blasters are still going to be one of the better ATs for pvp, but thanks to WW changes hopefully scrappers will catch back up.

    You guys have defiance. You have unresistable damage. You have, realisticly, lots of HP for a caster in this game, epic shields, access to PFF or phase, FoN, and Aim + BU.

    Blasters are currently and will remain one of the most effective and versatile of the pvp builds, so cut it out with the whining.

    In my experience in this game, blasters have been one of the whiniest groups of players in the game, despite regularly being among the most powerfull, both in pvp and pve. I don't know what it is about you guys, but WW and toggle-dropping were both pretty broke. You've been asking for mez protection for 4+ issues now...give it up, it's not gonna happen.

    You'll still be highly effective in teams. You'll still be good solo, but will, more and more, fall victim to the old rock-paper-scissors.

    Enough with the [censored] crying already. You guys want to cry, go play a tank. That'll make you cry.

    Just to add on to this…I’ve played every AT COX has to offer. Stalkers and Blasters are quite similar IMO. I love both in PvP…however it’s a sad fact that stalkers and blasters are PvP on easy mode and that’s why you see so many in Sirens. Mad props to the defenders, tanks, khelds, corruptors, etc who do partake in PvP.

    Just understand…if you’re a blaster…you really do have it just as easy as stalkers do.

    We will just have to wait till RV to really complain about anything…I just think PvP will be a whole new ballgame when all said and done.
  14. red elec powers i was looking at didnt look like elec melee...i could be wrong. i just said if we got MU patron powers [red elec] i would be going that route. i have no idea of course what powers we will get. i could be wrong i don't know i am excited regardless. thanks.
  15. Oh my goodness can you say EXCITED?!?! I can honeslty say I could care less about MMs till this video…now I wana make a thug MM. I’m sure once I play it I will still have the same impression of em…but yeah for now I can’t wait to make one. And how about our Mu looking elec powers? I am thinking they are patron powers. But that makes me excited and I said to myself I would be going that route if we got Mu [looking] patron powers….lucky me =]
  16. I decided to start off with a brute after trying out everything beta and the pvp events.

    Decided to go Superstrength/Stone Armor love it so far especially since I slotted up some knock back enhancements.
