They doubled the proc rate, but the text in the incarnate window wasn't updated the last time I tested. Unless the doubled rate is bugged...
-
I was thinking about Vigor due to end issues with the build, but I will admit that I'm not slotted very well. I guess I'll wait and see if I can do without the end reduction once my build is better
-
What's recommended for Incarnate powers for Ninja/Time? I was thinking
Alpha: Vigor Core
Interface: Spectral Radial... or possibly Degenerative Radial
Destiny: Barrier Core
Judgement: Ion Radial
Lore: Longbow Core -
Farsight really doesn't stack...?
-
But what do you think about the overall concept? Good idea, bad idea? I'm not even sure I'll incarnate the character, and if I did, I would also most likely take a DoT interface. I just added Gravitic in there to make the most extreme example
-
I'm leveling up a Ninja/Time mastermind, and I'm thinking of doing a heavy focus on -recharge. I could have
1. Time Crawl, -60%
2a. Distortion Field, -50%...
2b. ...also slotted with the Pacing of the Turtle (-20%) and Basilisk's Gaze (-25%) procs, 20% chance each
3. Pacing of the Turtle (-20%) and Dark Watcher's Despair (-25%) procs slotted into Time's Juncture, again 20% chance each
4. Gravitic interface (-10%), 75% chance
I'm wondering if it's worth it to do this in general (like maybe with an Ice or Psychic build), and obviously specifically for this character. If it is worth it, have I overslotted? Is there a -recharge cap? On a single target, that would be up to -210% recharge if everything activates, and up to -150% for everything around it considering the AoE capabilities of the build
Also do AVs resist recharge debuffs? -
I wasn't sure how it works post-Freedom

Quote:I see this come up in these topics, but why make the game at all if this excuse is going to be used? Inappropriate characters have been created since day 1, it's only a matter of a person being both "creative" enough and willing to do it. It's been dealt with on a case by case basis, why would it be any different with female pets available? It seems like people expect a flood of inappropriate characters, and I don't understand whyPlaying devils advocate here.
What are the repercussions when a player named Pimpdaddy or Pimpsalot which would be okay for a single toon player as I have seen in the past, now makes one for a female based Mastermind. Or picks a adult entertainment type name and then names the pets similarly. -
I see, thanks, I guess I'll be going Core then
-
Is it worth it to take the Radial branch of Spiritual for Caltrops? I've already got slow enhancements to get it to 95% slow (91% after ED). I know there's a cap to slowing enemy speed, I'm just not sure if I've hit that with or without Spiritual Radial
So should I take that or go for the Core branch? This is for a Bots/Traps MM -
I haven't received my points nor token (nor transfer I think), and it's been over a month since my last points were awarded
-
Quote:Speak for yourself, I like the raids, and this is the only MMO I've ever playedI always thought the issue with the raids wasn't as much they weren't aware of the player base but that they forgot they were still standing because they tried to not be a copypasta MMO. The players wanted something to do at max level so they put in game play mechanics from other popular games that have it. Maybe forgetting what makes you better for your players is the same as forgetting who your players are though.

I know that Spiritual's recharge isn't that great for the bots, but I took it mostly for the speeding up the supporting powers (the traps, Repair, and Aid Other/Self). Healing and Stun also do affect the Protector Bots, but that wasn't a big factor. Mostly I'm looking at the slightly higher recharge for all my powers (Core, basically +30% vs +22%) vs boosting the slow for caltrops, which I do use a lot...
-
Personally I'm split between taking Core or Radial Spiritual for my Bots/Traps, I've got all the components just can't decide which to pick...
-
I always wanted Tsoo Lore pets, but obviously they didn't go up to 50, now I'm really hoping they're included in I22
I also personally hope they change "Staff Fighting" to just "Staff", it's not like we have "Dual Blades Fighting" or "Beam Rifle Shooting" (and yes I know we have "Shield Defense", a poor name IMO, why wasn't it just "Shield"...) -
Mids does allow me to slot HOs into pets, unless that's a bug. And yeah, it's basically the extra defense from the Blood Mandate set bonus vs extra defense from the IO/HO from the bot's shield
I'm not sure what you mean by other important factors. Here's my full build if you want to take a look

Right now I've got 5 of the Blood Mandate set slotted, and I was debating what to put in the 6th slot open. I was thinking of
-the final Blood Mandate (Accuracy)
-Defense IO
-Enzyme HO
Which would be best? I'm /Traps, if that matters. BTW I've also got the def and res uniques in Assault Bot -
Is it worth slotting the whole Lockdown set in Poison Trap?
-
Is the ToE proc that useful? In general, I don't like chance procs unless they're in toggles or passives. In this case, the proc will "save" me 11.5 end every for every ~5 activations, but slotting another Golgi I will save another 20 end guaranteed in those same 5 activations, plus the stronger healing. Is there something I'm missing?
-
I'm debating where to put my final slot, right now I'm leaning on the Shield Wall proc in one of my armors, but I'm also considering throwing it into
-Dark Consumption currently slotted with 3 Eradications, would add an End Mod common IO
-Dark Regeneration currently slotted with 3 Eradications and 1 Golgi, would add a second Golgi or swap the HOs for 2 Heal set IOs
If it matters, my resistance is sitting at
53% S/L
36% F/C
24% E
47% N
27% T
62% P
Note: I already have the both 3% def procs -
Is there any reason to pick a level 10 proc over a level 50 proc or vice versa?
-
So if I set base tohit to 38, what % should I be shooting for on the main screen? I see I dropped down to 75% for the Kinetic Combat powers...
Quote:I added one Nucleolus to each power with the KC set (correct, no proc)Did you just use 4 Kinetic Combats (no proc) and still put in two other slots dedicated to enhancing the effects (ACC/END/RCH/DMG)?
Quote:One thing to keep in mind, is that base tohit is 75% (which is what Mids shows) then it multiplies it by your acc bonuses to give you your total acc..
Honesty, I'd try to fit in Tactics or Focused Accuracy into your build, as those boost 'tohit' which helps you a lot more then accuracy does.
Quote:I'm in the same boat as you, Kinetic Combats and all. 39% accuracy enhancment is fine for +0 and +1, but if you're spending all that money on Kinetic Combats for defense set bonuses, you're not gonna be happy fighting just +0s and +1s. Furthermore, anything with ToHit debuffs or Defense buffs is gonna give you fits.
My current plan to deal with this is to slot the Kismet unique and put some extra slots in my defense powers so I can get that 9% accuracy bonus from the 4th slot of Luck of the Gambler. -
I'm trying to balance a build's (say build A) set bonuses, but because of heavy use of the Kinetic Combat sets for the S/L defense, that left me relatively low on accuracy, with my main attacks ending up at 139% (most accurate power ends up being ~150%, lowest is 129%). Will there be anything in particular that will give trouble with this level of accuracy? On the plus side, I get ~33% in all Type defense
A different build (B) plan has my powers at +7-10% accuracy, and Type defense ends up with ~36% S/L+E/N, but only 24% F/C (and 26-29% Positional def)
For other stats, they are exactly the same in recharge bonus, and similar end usage/recovery and health/regen bonuses. A has better status bonuses. B is a much better exemping build. Which would be the better route to take?
