Well, i'm just speaking from my personal experiences. Everyone has their own opinion. You can disagree, but it doesn't make you right either. I've yet to see a /fire defense capable of dealing with anything other than fire dealing baddies that it can easily softcap against. That's why my best suggestion was to reroll it. I wasnt being funny or a jerk, just my opinion.
  4. I don't have any issues doing anything in this game with my Kat/Regen. Some people just build crappy toons in all i can think of. He was my first 50, and out of 5 years, he's the only toon that i HAVENT deleted for xtra alts to play.

I'd say reroll as a /dark. I had a /fire and a couple people i know did too and all were deleted. /Fire's dfense is meh, imo.

Yea. Mine has 81% rech w/o hasten. It helps alot. My build is below.

Are you saying that Weave is under slotted? I tried slotting two Enzyme Exposures into Weave as well as Combat Jumping and it only netted me a few decimals more of defense so I figured I'd go with the increased regeneration as well has a few more hit points rather than the small defense increase.

If you want to post the build feel free just go to import/export make sure you have the titanforum/vbbforum format selected in the right and then paste the code and build into here.
MY bad. It did sound confusing. It looked like the dark toggles were only using 2-3 slots, but i did the same thing in my build after relooking at it. Ill try to post mine if i can figure it out.
  9. A quick question. On most of these builds, i dont see alot of slots being used on the defense toggles. Tough/Weave seem to have more than the /dark ones. Why is that? Are they topping the defense with 2 or 3 slots? If i knew how, i'd post the build i was thinking of trying in mids, but that's too fancy for my skill levels. lol

Or maybe you kill faster than the defense is needed?

My 50 arch/energy blaster gets excellent mileage out of her LotG recharges and various +recharge set bonuses--rain of arrows is up every ~30 secs, and buildup/aim every 33 secs or so. Maybe not so necessary for my tanker, although +recharge for anyone certainly doesn't hurt.

Anybody have any specific feelings as to when to slot the LotG beauties? Heavy damage dealers, pet controllers, or anywhere?
For blasters novas, instant healing in regeneration, for SC and LR, endurance recovs, Illusion pets, carrion creepers, stuffs like that for me.

    Anyone do this?

Yes, cloak of fear. LOL. I always do that. So, i shouldn't get both? The reason i said low damage is because i had a spines/fire IO'd at 50(didnt like fire) but the fire aura did more damage to te mobs. And so far, the Death Shroud does more, too. If you run one at a time the quills numbers are lower than both the other auras.

I've already gotten 2 Theft procs. I'm going to have 2. One for me, and one for my wife. Thanks for the advice, though.

    Cool. Thanks guys.
  14. eryq2

    Anyone do this?

Use quills for a slow movement? I made yet another spines/dark. I figure with stamina and pys. perfection it may be ok.

I wasnt sure on the build though. I was curious if quills would be better with slows instead of damage since its low damage output anyways.

And fearsome stare. Fear or -tohit? I hate to use 5 respecs trying to guess which combo would be best if anyone has mastered it already. lol.

    Thanks.

I use common level 25 recipes at 22, and start my sets at 35. Except for the -kb. i get that asap.

So far, even at these rates, I'm receiving more Infamy. Of course I haven't been open long and I expect more trades today.
But theres soooo much more influence.... odd.
  20. I was looking at it in mids. Its only up for 90 secs. Down for like 8 minutes. Id use the procs if they work while the power is inactive because theres no real reason to use acc or damage if its down for 8 minutes. IMO. I may not even take the power at that cool down time. I guess with hasten and ios may help some but prolly still down a while.

Id like something to help with the Prince's endurance more than health. lol. Although, i havent started to IO her yet so that may help. Just hit 36, so it's time.

Another problem i have is this is my first MM. No clue on pools to take other than Stamina and Hasten. Thought maybe Leaders Assault, Tough + Weave. Maybe the Taunt. I am /dark so i wont need another fear cone. Well, maybe. lol.
