is Uncle Slam taken as a name yet?

I even let Ricochet go to stop him

for survivability solo the best is sonic with its sleep. Sleep everyone, pick one foe and defeat them, work your way down.
ice is maybe next with its holds.
energy is a good solo secondary, especially if you can get close
sonic/energy and ice/energy are both fairly survivable with good damage -
I have to agree with the OP that it is fine for the devs to nerf Seeds of Confusion and Roots because they are not important for making an overpowered dominator, IOs and incarnate powers are what really matters.

listos version: you are moving on, going straight and choosing life
congratulations, I hear the graphics are amazing but the game balance is terrible -

it is tempting for me to dfb to 22 when I slot IO's and can really do stuff.
But I am finding the content yellowside is good enough that I'm not worried about leveling. -
Quote:bonfire is simple with this proc:How does it compare to Oil Slick Arrow? I've never used Bonfire. The stated recharge seems faster than OSA from what I recall (been a while since I've played a TA character too for that matter). It just sounds like a possibly more damaging, faster recharging OSA? So, if anything gets adjusted knock it into line with OSA (maybe a little faster recharge or a little better damage- since it takes a special IO to make it equal to OSA).
Just my thoughts.
* 100% chance of perma knockdown for any mob not immune. They never fight back
* is perma'd. So you have this every fight and can recast in fights
* does autohit damage, a lot of it over time, which since they can't move all hits them
* can be cast from out of LoS
I think the fix is to lower the pulse rate so enemies get a chance to fightback -
my fun things and not fun things are contradictory, which is my main problem
Fun: teaming and experiencing the interaction of all of the characters and powers
Fun: soloing a good arc and seeing the story.
Fun: soloing a difficult mission with each fight a nailbiter
I can only do one of them at a time. So I have to rotate.
The thing is, I almost always enjoy teaming. Not all arcs are good, so soloing many is not fun. And soloing difficult missions wears on me quickly so is only fun occassionally. -
Quote:The XP reward bonus.Although I "get" what Corinna is saying, I really don't like minimum or maximum sizes. I really don't get why they have them. Sometimes I feel like a team, and sometimes I don't.
Many players want to play on max size teams. I hate joining a team and they sit for 10 minutes trying to find an 8th player. They see the maximum and they have to have it.
It is not the fault of the game, but it is something the game has to take into account. -
Quote:That would be horrible.I dare anyone to try taking a drink for every new dug thread.
Actually, that would probably see you wind up in Hospital...
I've started 8 threads in the last 7 days. I can't imagine having someone drinking that much.
But don't worry, I'm pretty sure I can't keep up the blistering pace of over a thread a day. -

You do a contact's arc and after each mission he asks you about what you did. You can choose one of 3 paragraphs depending on how you want to spin it. At the end they present it as a newspaper article for you to read.
I wish they had this for every arc. And I wish you got to keep the newspaper story. -
No spoilers please. They just set it up so I really like Warrant and dislike Reese. The way Praetoria seems to go, I assume they are setting up Warrant so that I later have to betray him and possibly kill him.
Each of the contacts in Praetoria is short, but so much personality built into them. I'm sure there must be contacts with personality Blueside, but I don't remember them. -
I don't recall the first one, but it could be fun
-
that basically just means avoid high regen. afaik that's the only thing that requires specific powers for small groups to defeat
-
how about listing worst of each type
Blast: Electrical Blast
Manipulation: Devices
Control: Ice
Buff/Debuff: Force Field
Defense Sets: Super Reflexes
Melee: Battle Axe
Pets: Mercs -

I have really liked the 4 player teams
* faster to get a team
* you quickly learn everyone on the team because each person counts
* you have more effect on the outcome
I would be very happy to have more 4 player team content -

Quote:because Paragon City generally exists in the real worldHow is that any different to starting in Paragon City or the Rogue Isles?
if you create a character who grew up in Iowa, you know Iowa exists.
if you create a character who is psychic, you don't find out that all psychic people are taken by the state and turned into seers.
are there corporations in Praetoria that you could own and run?
Was there a World War II, Vietnam War, etc in Praetoria?
You pretty much cannot assume any background is valid in Praetoria.
