If the therapist was a she, this conversation would not be taking place. Your assistance in this matter is appreciated.

I had an idea what the download was, but was curious to know if it was anything else. I would have asked on some global channels, but that would have meant logging in again.

Quote:I also recommend tier 3 inspirations. I just bid on stacks of the cheapest ones in multiples of 3, then craft into something going for a much higher rate. It may take some waiting, but your reward can be great.it's quite a bit different from WoW.
For some fast, easy and relatively foolproof cash I suggest flipping generic IOs.
Pick something people actually want (damage, accuracy & end reduction are my favorites) at a popular level range (I like 30 and 50) and put in some lowball bids.
Let's say you see a last 5 in the 500k range, I'd bid in the 100k neighborhood.
What you're counting on is badgers who aren't worried about making inf flooding the market with excess supply- this happens all the time.
Check back in a day or two, you should have some winners.
Re-list for less than the 'last 5', in the case of our hypothetical 500k price I'd list around 260k.
It's a safe, relatively hands-off way to build up a bankroll. -

I logged out just a couple minutes ago and my updater automagically started downloading something that is 672MB. Anyone know what it might be?

When I am on teams where someone does try to give guideance, they got lots of rants back. Then you get players who get guideance who choose not to even try it. Then when you look, you find out its a 60+ month vet who should know better. So I am not surprised people don't say anything.

Usually the 60+ month vets that I run across that are like that are either family people letting their child(ren) play as a superhero/villain or someone sold their account on one of the numerous sites that help facilitate such transactions. -
Or purchase the booster pack with Ninja Run. Lots of people use that since it's available at level 4.

Quote:Honestly, none of the players know how beta tests are selected. For all we know it can be a random selection out of all available accounts, all subscribed accounts over N months, people with names starting with the letter Q, or it could be completely manual.
%<----snip---->%
Personally I was hoping to get in earlier then this 'token' entrance (cause that's all this really is) to actually test the coming product. It's a shame the devs don't include newer as well as heavily veterned players in their testing. Newer players would give them a better knowledge of whether this is entrance level freindly and vetrans have such a great knowlegde of how AT's feel when played.
In the end this is the Dev's loss and hopefully does not give us the same issues AE did. We can't afford to lose more veterns.
While I do feel that there was too little detail regarding the loyalty program, especially tying it directly with this expansion, if one of my accounts has beta access, I will log in and poke around. If I find a bug that hasn't yet been found, yay for me. If not, oh well, I have plenty of bugs at work to find. I'm not going to get myself worked up over something that, for all I know, is still up in the air.
To the people who are getting bent out of shape over this expansion: go chill out, watch some TV, go outside, read a book, drink, whatever floats your boat. -
Instead of complaining here about it, go take a look at the announcements. Skippy Sidekick posted earlier today that the Loyalty Closed Beta starts tomorrow with links and notes for the pre-download. Now go forth and download in preparation for tomorrow.

I think I might make a Fire/Dark or Dark/Fire... already got a 50 Ice/SS and a 50 Stone/Stone. I think I still have a 20-something WP/SS, too.
I might even be around for one of these things, but my attention has been focused less on CoH and more on real life things lately. -
If you're blue and you don't know where to go to, why don't you go where fashion sits...

Quote:What great doing for with the it's somewhat not here there maybe lies within forthwith notwithstanding.Youve got to be kidding me. Ive been further even more decided in Warburg to use even go need to do gank more as anyone can. Can you really be far even as decided half as much to use go wish for that? My guess is that when one really been far even as decided once to use even go want in Warburg, it is then that he has really been far even as decided to use even go want to do gank more like. Its just common sense.

I'll be on one of my non-50's, probably Mind Dominator, Demons/Dark MM or Pistols Blaster. I'll be the one dancing without music.

Not to be the pessimist, but hasn't the historic stance been a firm "never in a million years"? Quick, what year is it?
No, in seriousness, this is good. This is a change that needed to be in the game from the very launch of CoV. It'll be interesting to see how the much more abundant hero coffers help the villains. -
I take my Elec/WP Stalker into RV plenty, the only place I actually do play against other players. You don't have to stick to the arena to throw sharks and AS, just bring a thick hide or turn broadcast off.
-
Reading this thread makes me want to make a Fire/Rad Controller, but I already have 5 or 6 Controllers I took to 50 and shelved, and I'm working on another 3-4 toons that will hit 50 soon.
-
I haven't had a lot of time for events like this, but I can provide something. I'm working on a Mind/Elec Dominator that will be great for MoLRSF and a Demons/Dark Mastermind that is approaching 45. However, I have a Stalker (lolPvP, but have a partially built PvE build), Brute, FF Mastermind, /Rad Corruptor and Crab.

I saw fixes for Defenders and Controllers, what about Masterminds? They have Force Field too. >.>

Probably warshade, shield/sword scrapper or ice/ss tank. If we're melee heavy, I'll be on my tri-form so I can sit back and blast at range. Hopefully my U-verse won't die in the middle of the TF like happened with LGTF. ;/

The fix: an option with three selections, on, off and auto. On you get prompted to say yes or no for *every ST buff*, off is the exact opposite (denying by default, basically you never accept buffs), and auto is the one most people will use where it'll automatically accept and not prompt you.
I can't see a valid reason to have a prompt to accept buffs, or to never accept any buffs, but there's probably a few players who would complain. Every player will use one of the options, because there's no player who wouldn't fit into such an idea.
But people will probably complain that this is a bad idea and that we haven't implemented pink ponies or rainbows, and that is a priority. -
