lol I met a newby 2 nights ago, had no vet badges .. him n his friend, they were leading a team of lvl 8-12s in kr n decided to go to sky for scanner missions, i didnt want to be the go here do this type so i followed along i had my lvl 10 blaster..

When in sky they spoke about seeing a detective for a scanner, mind you he had scanner in kr lol, so i sent a tell explaining nicely that once u have a scanner there is no need to see the det. in evry zone untill its bank time n he asks to see u... BTW he was a lvl 12 tank

In team chatt he proceded to tell me he knows how to play he has 3 lvl 50s and him n his friend proceeed to tell me how they kick [censored] with thyere 50's (his friend has 3 also) and they basically told me (missy shut the [censored] up) lol had female toon but im a guy lol.

So i didnt want be a butthead (ive seen 50s ask where FF is lol) but i kept mouth shut.. after 5 ful min of hearing about theyre 50s lol i finally said would u like my list of 50s including the ones ive deleted? lol this got some quiet time and we went into mish..

Well The all pro tank had taunt already (lvl 12) and he taunting away and 2 groups charge n wipe him out lol he says "wtf they al came at just me" "wtf is this (poop)" lolol

I replied "your a tank theyre supposed to come at u when u taunt but im sure u knew that hehehehe"

I left team after mish lol i always try help newbies give em cash n help if needed but this was beyond silly lol

Oh well thank god for the people who actually appreciate help

You may want to call customer support, recently i had a payment issue with a 2nd account and called them. I wasnt on hold very long and my problem solved quickly and efficiently.
Maybe this has something to do with the original purchase and selection.

If ingame ticket doesnt help, id make a phone call

yes and no it is a combination of reflexes, experience and skill but i do get your point on the powerset being handicapped do to the kb.

I solo'd alot with mine but i enjoy playing solo alot and kb does come in handy if soloing.

not many solutions here some people im sure like the kb too bad it couldnt be changed so that slotting n enhancements dictate kb vs kd

Oh, I'm quite happy to blame people when they are to blame but blaming an Energy Blast user for knocking things back is blaming them for using their attacks. They could certainly have "skillfully" not used an attack in an unfavorable KB situation or spent time repositioning but either way I think it's fair to lay some of the blame on perhaps the ONLY attack power side-effect in the game that CAN have a downside.

Actually timing, choosing "not" and to pause before u strike after the teamates do certain things is being skillful

You'r mistaking not doing anything to thinking about what is right at the right moment.

Forget the fact this is a game with pretty buttons to click lol

In martial arts this is practiced quite often, timing and deciding what should follow any attack vs def move. in real life and depending on ur type of skillset for fighting you do choose not to do a particular move because your opponent is waiting for it.

Just making a point that knowing when not to do something can be a learned and valued skill lol

I have one and also a cor.. that said when i play my tank or any melee toons i sometimes find myself loathing energy blasters, pb.s, ws....

To me its about the kb (knockback) keep in mind i have these toons also but ive adapted on how when and where to use certain powers.

Most people just blast away with everything they can click, few take the time to learn how to use kb to the teams advantage, i have played with some people who are great with any toon but unfortunatly most only care about banging stuff around lol

Sometimes i try to help n show them how to kb into walls, corners .. sometimes i just deal with it n run around while praying for a troller lol

It's not the powerset's its the people playing them lol The plus side is they usually die alot because they blast off before tanks run in lol

Since i have to be more detailed. From my personal experience most people building missions go to any other zone other than Atlas.

To work and not be disturbed, Atlas became the focal point from day one, we are creatures of habit after all. So Atlas remains "the" spot to go.

We dont need a MA building in every zone. I understand the reasons for doing it, that is to spread the population out a little but it hasnt worked.

Time to adjust instead of 2 Atlas zones by deleting half the MA buidling they can direct that traffic to the less populated zones.

The RPers and new people can go to Atlas and do what they've always done.

Id remove the buildings from Atlas, Steel and PI

All this does is redirect the AE people from the Mish people no different than having pvp zones and pve zones.. if you want this .. go there.

The people in Galaxy at any given moment can be counted on one hand sometimes you must sacrifuce a finger for an arm but one persons quiet time isn't the issue

The tyvm u added just shows me the pettiness of peoples wants here. I wonder if you might have a more beneficial quiet time in bed under your blanky

Im not geting into the farm debate but i do at times get eye aches at the spam lol

I wonder why they dont just remove the building from Atlas it solves many of the complaints listed in countless threads.

Leave one in Galaxy so any level can get there.

Seems an easy fix for the spam issue in Atlas.

For a single mob, yes, EXP can be reduced. Over time, however, the damage contributed by a confused foe means you're killing the mobs more quickly; and the EXP curve remains unchanged. Confuse can diminish xp if a confused foe kills another foe.

Although tanks can still hold agro, they are not seen as quickly because they are stealth/invis buffed.
I find it better to charge n taunt with my tank in the middle but it does help when they can see you 1st lol

Anyways sometimes there is a glimmer of truth to a myth and some of these hold true here especially the "dont get them wet after midnight"

Okay I took your 'K-Contact' to mean Kheld Contacts. I've absolutely finished all those - none hanging. If that's not what you mean, then I'm not sure...

Now, I almost always have normal missions pending in my list. I've never really noted if joining a team with No Outstanding missions of any kind clears Cysts up - maybe I'll give that a looksee...

Although i haven't rolled one in a very very long time back then by following that simple rule of thumb i never spawned one no matter what size or diff the team.

Not sure if its still applicable but give it a try, if you do ur
K-contacts mish, solo em n try to wrap them up before u lf team.

I am going to be Mr Negative but the servers i play on have really become city of farming now. Even i couldnt resist the 2 day trip from lvl 15 to 50

I have a ton of money because of the MA but prices have jumped if not skyrocketed on common salvage

I'm just curious how long it will be before im bored and leave the game now.

Its harder and harder to find a tf or even normal team and after the huge xp from the ae mish i feel like its not even worth it when i find a team.

I was never a farmer i would help a friend here and there.. Now its not 2 times xp weekend its more like 5 times xp month.

Honestly i like levelling as much as the next guy but I see i14 as doing more damage than good to the game.

Can the 50% tailor session be replaced with being introduced to a rare contact and task force?

Might be cool to have veterans be sought after and valued in this way.

The 2 hour timer is a killer i was excited to buy this pack more so because of the teleporter only to find the recharge time is ridiculous..

Honestly for the money these packs cost it would be nice to have something more useful

Costume is cool but not worth the cost. I think this will be my last addon pack, ive bought several, the cost just isnt balancing out with practical use ingame vs gameplay time.

[/ QUOTE ]I think yall are missing the point. The devs have said some tf/sf/trials are not worth a full recipe because they dont take much time to complete. Putting the reward choice on all the other tfs that do give enough for a full recipe is some what pointless. There is no difference in doing that versus people going to the merit vendor. If people are that lazy to go to the merit vendor then there is no hope for them. People just need to get with the program, stuff like Katie, Cap, Hess, Eden and Treespecs will never give enough for a full recipe again so why keep asking for that?

Many tfs that are said to merit recipies can be done in much shorter time if u know how and have the right team for example itf done in 34 min ..

I like the idea of offering merits as an option not mandating it. The merit system has and is creating an even bigger imbalance among many players.

Some players haven't got the time to do tfs all week and some do not like or have the ability to lead the team and therefore dont do theyre contacts.

We now have the majority of teams doing the leaders contacts.. radio and newspapers are taking a back seat to this.

There is definatly a rise in cost on many servers for recipies and a lack of quantity.

Personaly i dislike the merit system not because its a bad idea but because of how it was implemented. No problems were solved but another farm was created.

make it an option and also add merit drops for kills and missions (any mission) rewards for the entire teams.

saying we are planning this isnt a solution.. its to placate.. it should have been inplace when this system went live..
