PB - and budget wise definitely under a billion or so.
I really enjoy the nova form but want that survivability factor as well, whether thats human form or dwarf form I really don't care either way, but i have no intention of being a tank, more of a scrapper/blaster. -
Just hit 50 and plan to respec. I love nova form and plan to focus alot on it, but wanted to get feedback on what everyone suggests with either focusing on nova/dwarf, human/nova, etc and to see if there are any good guides that have sample build and sample slotting.

All from people who seem to have had no problems BEFORE the update. These posts combined with the fact i have numerous teammates in AE missions crash daily tends to prove there IS an issue, it might not effect everyone but it IS effecting people who had no problems before it.
I already went ahead and set my account to not auto-renew. Hopefully rolling back to older drivers fixes this because right now the game is unplayable when i crash every 15 minutes. -
Going to try a few Windows Vista fixes later tonight. Apparently my drivers might be too new. The whole vista thread seems to be indicating that City of Heroes doesn't work well with newer drivers and going to OLDER drivers fixes the issues which is a laugh.

Both happens. I get both the City of heroes has encountered an error and pops up window to enter what I was doing when it occured, map server disconnects, complete server crashes where everyone in zone is kicked off, etc.

There is no reason to have issues like I am having, and like I said CoH has run flawlessly on my computer before I14. Never crashed once.
Also as far as them potentially not supporting Vista that would be one of the stupidest moves they can make. Especially as you have to fight to get a new computer without vista. -
Well considering my computer is dual core 3 Ghz with 256 MB high end video card I seriously doubt its any settings on my end...
Numerous people have been reporting frequent Map Server Disconnects and random crashing. Hell its become common for many of my friends to crash and when you log back in find you are half a mile or more away from where you crashed in a random building i've never been in before.
80,000 people aren't playing it fine. I've had my entire team crash out all at once several times. It's a common occurence to enter an AE mission with 8 people and be down to 4-5 by the time everyone loads. -

Figure i'll post too. Game was working fine before I14, after I14 constant crashes, d/c's, and map server DC's popping up. I can play for several hours with no problems, or crash 3-4 times in 15 minutes.

I doubt its anything on your end. My computer has had the exact same issues that just started after I14, game worked flawlessly before that.
Something in I14 is causing these problems and they need to fix it. -
So after my latest in a long series of crashes my mouse cursor is now invisible when I log back into the game rendering the game completely unplayable.
I've already restarted my whole computer and it did nothing. -
I got over 4000 in one mission last night so it seems to be fine.

I dunno. I was on a 7 man team yesterday where we came out with 5000+ tickets each. course it was a defeat all on a large map. but still.

Thats definitely more encouraging then doing 8 man teams of kill all on outdoor maps and getting under 100 tickets. -
As of monday night it was still borked. Has it been finally fixed? If so how good are the rewards in team VS solo?

For those wondering how the MA complaint system works, there was a blog post a few days back from Hero 1 that goes into details on how the system works. It made slashdot, which is how I found out about it. Let me go dig through slashdot to find the link....
Ok. Here we go.
As a short synopses, arcs are pulled automatically after they receive X complaints, with X increasing as the arc gets more and more non-complaint ratings. They can be republished once when pulled, but if pulled a second time they must be appealed to CS, and evaluated by a live person. And it's only at this third stage that CoH CS gets involved. The first two pullings are done totally automatically done by the system.

I attempted to re-publish a banned arc and it was just deleted. Completely gone. Which sucks because i didn't have a local copy of it. -

No huge maps, forced bosses, uber AV's. Just a nice story that can be enjoyed by everyone, although you might get ambushed a few times :-) -

I had tried empathy before and when set to non combative they did nothing. Didn't heal or buff. I believe when set to non combative they can't use any powers that require a target, and I never had em fire off buffs either. Same issues with accelerate metabolism and speed boost. Only way I got an ally to use speed boost was to make him combative which means he stole xp.
I'm trying to come up with list of allies I can make who won't attack and steal xp but still provide a benefit. Have a few story idea's involving these buffers. -
Pretty sure i already apologized for the bump, re-read rules and saw that it was there.

These are valid concerns such as being unable to test large spawns, wasting time and money to test on multiple difficulty levels, etc. Still its a matter of perspective I suppse.

Constructive Player Interaction = discussion or else there is no interaction.

Using the same logic I can pick any post and say it should be moved such as the thread on Ticket Drops / Solo vs Team. It's a bug and it should be moved to the I14 bug forum and not be on the discussion forum. As could the other 4-5 bug threads on first page alone.
If the moderators feel this is the wrong place then the thread can be moved. -
Confirmed Storm and dark will work and grant auras. Will try shield and pain domination later or if anyone else wants to test and post let us know

It's based off ENEMY level. So if your level spread is 40-54 and a lvl 1 person joins they are bumped up to minimum enemy level of 40.
So adding in a single custom enemy ruins it since they spawn 1-54. -
Trying to come up with a list of powersets that give you powers people you rescue will use when set to passive.

#3 would really come into play if #2 was implemented. Not many people have a build that could solo 8 man spawn.
Also its really annoying to expect everyone to have a solo toon. Some of us like to team.
