How do you create a mish that automatically SKs?
You do something with the level range for the mission I believe. Make it be like 30-40 so anyone below 30 become 30 and anyone above 40 become 40.

It happens automatically. The mission will be set according to the leader's level. If the leader is below the range of the arc, it gets set to the arc minimum. If the leader is above the level of the arc, it gets set to the arc maximum. Everyone else automatically becomes the leader's level.

I don't think so.

Wrong. I briefly tested this on a 1-54 mission, mobs will be appropriate for the leader, everyone else is at their own level.

Oh, that's different than what I thought. I bow to those with empirical evidence.

It's based off ENEMY level. So if your level spread is 40-54 and a lvl 1 person joins they are bumped up to minimum enemy level of 40.
So adding in a single custom enemy ruins it since they spawn 1-54.

Close its off the the level range in common.
So if you have a custom enemy 1-54
Council from 30-50
and enemy x from 45-50
The common level range is 45-50
Everyone below 45 will get a boost to 45
the leader will be at 45 or his level whichever is greater
The spawns will be set to the leaders combat level.
Yeppers thats the way it works and its a great addition to the game.
The development team and this community deserved better than this from NC Soft. Best wishes on your search.
Hmm my bad then. That works better actually.

Or, looking at it as "glass half-full", makes it possible for players of all levels to play your arc without being forced to exemp and giving up xp. Back when I was putting my arcs together, I believed that this would be a fairly major consideration for many players; do you not agree?

Its sometimes a problematic feature though if the level locks down do to a fringe element. For instance, if you have a rescue that involves you saving a standard critter, the level of that critter impacts the mission level range even if they are set to non-combatant. If they don't fight at all in the mission, they shouldn't be relevant.

This would be fine if all you ever wanted to use was custom NPC's. Try creating a mix of units, and you're generally [censored]. Every time I say, "Gee...wouldn't it be cool to use that rarely seen non-standard npc unit?" it's inevitably in a level range that somehow doesn't fit in with everything else. It's frustrating.

How do you create a mish that level corrects automatically (i.e., how do you create a mish that makes it so that people of different levels can fight without having to SK or LK anyone?)
