do you really think it's cool to talk that way? I can understand an honest misspelling, I do it all the time. But there's a premeditation to yours that can't be a mistake.

that costume says "Look at me I am dark and nasty and I will eat you" and nobody takes it seriously.

My sweetie made a toon like that. It was actually 4 different people who got combined into one body. They could switch out at will who was in control and that's who'd they look like.

as I've recently had parts removed and other's replaced and a little wake up call from the Almighty, I've been in the process of reinventing myself.

To my great surprise I find that I've actually gotten my fill of drawing smut and been feeling the need for more ... cute.

I've been combing through chibi tutorials and various others to play with a new style. Here is my initial results. I appologize for the quality of the picture, being taken with my cell phone. My scanner is currently borked.

I used to do this all the time in photoshop but not being able to afford my own copy right now, I'm using gimp and can't find how to get this effect.

anyways... here's what I want to do...

you select a particular color... then reverse the selection so everything EXCEPT that color is selected. Then you can hit the "delete" key and everything is gone except for your color.

any way to do that in gimp?
