I do believe there's already a guide in the Player Guides forum. As well as Zloth's editor... only real change (AFAIK) is knowing some maps are "broken" in demos, typically the newer ones for whatever reason (unless that's been fixed.)

A search set to 3 years, subject only, player guides only, +Demo -"Re: " will bring up 20 guides, two or three of which have nothing to do with demos, and a couple of which are discussion - but should give you what you want.

Hey guys, first time poster-- long time stalker of the art forum. I think the majority of you are REALLY talented, and wish that y'all would just rub up against me -- just a bit, so maybe I can leech some of that... but thats not why I am here.
I was wondering if there is anyone out there that is specifically talented in using demorecord or making short films, that would mind writing a guide of sorts. I know a LOT of people would love to be able to do this, but have no CLUE how it works... If I have any volunteers (or multiple volunteers) maybe y'all can work together and come up with something.
I wouldn't ask, but it would REALLY be cool if some1 could do this. specially within the next month or so, more info will be available at a later date... PM me/post here if you are gonna be doing this, for more information (but don't ask me why-- I can't tell ya!)
