Description

We are primarily on our heroes and The Rogue Knights is our villainous side.

Why post in the recruitment corner, I hear you ask?

Well, recently our regular goodies decided to show a bit of love for our villains.

The Plan. We all rolled out a lvl 1 to begin the story of the breakout of a band of Rogues!

We all team up, in one team or in more when loads of us are on and select the same contacts and work our way the arcs as a team!

It's great way for a group of players to have no problem finding a team without any contact/mission quibbles, no worries about XP coz of LKs or ML's.

The story of our villainous band kept with pictures and told on our website! Each villain is welcome to add their story or spin on the evening's events!

We've been doing it a month among ourselves but other regulars are welcome to join in!

Our Rogue saga takes place every Wednesday evening from 19:00GMT til late.

So far, we've had a laugh living and telling the story.

We're currently at level 15 with a variety of AT's.

2 things really.

Firstly, Where can a find (if anywhere) a really good list of what is made from or can be made up.

Secondly, does anyone know if Alien Tech and Book of Spells can be used in any ingredient menu? Made loads of items up and these did not move from 20. Had a look through a lot of menu and didn't see either of these as contributing to any...

It's a stomp fest!

A mate of mine & i randomly decided to go do a misson or two, then grab a nuke. We'd been getting along fine then, WHAM BOSH CRUNCH! It was on, we'd been jumped by a battle roving across the road! 3 hours and a good few laughs later, I decided to call it a night and look forward to the next one!

MWAH! ..... that is of course if I'm slipped an invite

Admittedly, my toon is only lvl 39 but wanted to use the pistol for a while. Unless someone lets me know, I guess I'll wait til I have the mission!

Gotta admit, the Coalition channel on CoH or CoV is often quiet and when it has the smallest pulse, it's always the same folks. Then you see several other heroes/villains running round in those Coals who obviously never said a word!

Due to poor teaming on villains, my MM has 'forms teams' in his search desc. This has proved a useful tool and people jumping on are often surprised to see more than 3 people. My only regret is on those busy nights, you have to say no!

Die_Klip, my MM is 39 atm, so understand if you wouldn't want to jump on the team but I'd be happy to LK on occasion if you're struggling; add to that 2 of my VG are about lvl 47 and play regularly, so I'll pass on your interest if you slip me your character name.

As my villain is going a bit mad on badges atm, I'm trying get the accolades one at a time.

Couch Potato from a mission (don't know which one) is the last one I need to obtain the accolade.

This is my most recent laugh head off pvp comment/event.

I was about with my Mercs/Traps MM (thought, yeah /traps, but what the hell).

The villains are fighting the heroes on their doorstep, slightly outnumbered.

I see a scrapper on the beach and head over, naturally a fight starts... another scrapper, a blaster and a controller join the fray, not too mention the Freaks that've now seen us lot!

It's 4v1 + Freaks

After a little time my MM is suffering, swallows a green and jumps outta there fot all he's worth, straight back into the base!

Over Broadcast, the 1st scrapper declares "I would've had you if we were alone!"
I replied "Alone?!?! 4v1 plus Freaks and I'm still standing. My money's not on you!"

This behavior makes me chuckle, if i'm on the losing end of this, I'd quite happily enquire "Would any of you step out and face 11 heroes?..... That's right, I thought not"

As a rule, I tend to stand back from a clear ganking and/or changes sides to balance.

With 14 pages (not read any other than the OP), what I'll say will probably have already been said, but it's my 10 penneth now!

Hardly of questionable character, maybe there to... I don't know... PVP in the PVP zone, perhaps?. Anything other past time is secondary.

Players are not obliged to kill you, this is true, you are not obliged to be there for any other reason either. It is made clear countless times, the zone WILL be dangerous, you WILL be attacked and has little to do with 'questionable character', respect or anything similar.

If I'm earning XP, Prestige, badges or d) other, I'm fully aware that I'm fair game and will either defend myself or leave. It really is that simple.

According to a badge site I found somewhere, Soul Taker is needed for the Demonic and Born in Battle accolades. Now I'm pretty sure it's needed for the Demonic but not wholly sure it's needed also for the BiB one, anyways....

If anyone has this mission and is running it soon, let me know please. Best bets are later today (possibly this evening), Saturday morning/early afternoon and most definately Monday night (not between 19:30 & 22:10 GMT).

Going by the comments in your posts I can give the following opinions:

It sounds like they were deliberately trying annoy/peeve off someone or anybody by using this 'tactic'.

If the victim was repeatedly tp'd and in particular, had not previously made any kill or attempt to attack on the drone tp'er, then I'd say this repeated tp'ing to cause debt (and possibly ill feeling) would qualify as griefing in my book.

Repeated drone tp'ing for base campers and what has been said before is fair game and I believe in. Things like interrupting a 'duel' (although some would say this is rude I think demanding a zone of pvp'ers not to pvp in a pvp zone is rude; however, I digress) is also fair game.

Bringing debt to a random player for the sheer malicious intent is wrong and as Marquand Dance stated, it is petitionable under these circumstances.

As an aside, there are a few ways of defeating drone huggers like this....

Although true in point, two things spring to mind
1) new players ask questions too
2) have you tried the search for past threads?!?!

Simply browse, go "ah, seen that" and leave.
