Not that I watch it (the guys at work do during lunch/dinner so lack of choice :-p), but this sounds alot like what happens when I see football players huddled together and they suddenly clap "break" (or whatever). It's nice to know that this 'feature' works, thanks for letting us know. ;-)

Well ya, kinda goes along side of the Celeron. They're Both cost cutting measures inteded for low spec systems.

After reading that it feels more like something's overheating/failing. First reaction is GPU, but could be the CPU straining as well.

Hmm, you might wanna double check/redo your thermal paste if possible, but I'd check the fans to make sure everything's running during the time it does this. If you don't think the temps are teh problem, then what about hard drive maintenance. When's the last time you defragged that system? Unless it's an SSD, then it'd be a good idea to run that over night for good measure anyway.

Coming from an outsider to these spats, your posts do tend to read as if they're being declared as fact (I've done the same thing before, proof reading helps when you're tired). I realize you dont' intend them as such, but shortly afterwards somebody comes along with a 'correction' and your very next reply has the tone of a child who just had a bully take their favorite toy away (and means to get it back). I'm honestly surprised there haven't been any/more mod-smacks because of this.

Try not to take any of this as anything more than observation. I do alot of self reflection in my daily life and find places where something just didn't come out the way it was in my head. The hardest part of having a conversation via text format is learning to properly interpret eachother's meanings/emotions as we as humans are taught to do so by visual/auditory clues in the real world making our virtual world much more difficult to master for some of us.

Maybe it's because I was always looking for the 17"-19" screens back then. :-p

Good attempt, but I 'believe' what the OP is looking to find here isn't a settings issue. They're looking at how things are coded and where the system is/isn't letting go of memory. As far as I understand it though, Windows has a nasty habit of not letting ram go at all until the app is fully shutdown. So if these windows are being treated as part of City's main program, then they'll likely never release the memory until you logout.

I 'think' what they're wanting is more like /savetray || /loadtray....as would many of us I'm sure for respecs. That way if there were powers that had been changed, then the trays would simply need minor alterations. If the person simply wanted to rearrange slots, then it would be a total lifesaver unless you write slot locations down like I used to.

I had no issue with it. I had my standard 3 trays, tray 4 used for my reusable temps (2nd Mut, base tp, etc) and tray 5 for limited use temps. the latter to hide up near the nav panel and are mostly out of the way, yet easy to activate when needed.

Not really, but I hear there's a scale out there somewhere that gives you an idea. And by scale I mean there's a Zero point and a Minimum point.

Not unless you do so Thematically speaking. IE: you rewrite the SG's group ranking names, Motto, etc. Considering you can't change the group's name, that's about it. There's no way to make it switch sides (R-->B) either. Honestly, it's not that hard to get a group/base up and running, functionally speaking, as you get prestige bonus per toon upto 15. After that, run your 50's in SG mode for a while and you'll build it pretty quick.

Is alergic to stars, but not silly enough to screw up the experience for others because nobody will take it. Anybody who is should pull their head back out and wash it off before the swarm noms through their neck and it gets perma stuck that way. ^.^

A stupid question is the one never asked...or the one asked a second time after being answered once.

You brought up a point that I'm sure others were confused about as well. The way I understood it, however, was that the incarnate system was created as a method to get 50's on par with top level bosses, but not in such a way that made them stay that way. IE: some of the shifts work only in trials where bosses are more ubber (if I'm remembering this right). If I'm also remembering the new sidekick tech correctly, then a max effective power shift would be on the order of +4/+5 for others on the team. That's not quite written properly, but hopefully it made enough sense to someone that can help smooth out the thought.

Was going to point this out as the likely solution/work around.
