It's okay though, since I run at 60 miles per hour, even while wearing a ridiculous costume. Well, as one Mr. Robert Liefeld, esq. has demonstrated time and time again, drawing feet is so difficult that half the time you might as well not even bother. This could be a case of unrealistic expectations.

Unfortunately the ones that aren't are the ones that are getting the most votes. *checks vote count again* No wait, take that back, rings are back in favor and I'm really looking forward to making a dual pistols with the classic scifi laser guns. -
But if you vote for whichever options work with other themes, you end up with a really bland scifi bundle thats trying to be too many themes at once.
I've been waiting forever for a scifi pack
and gosh darn it, its going to be as raygun gothic as it can be. -
Like Ardrea said, join "/chan_join Virtue RP Revival" there's usually always someone on (even if you have to poke it with a stick sometimes), and even though the first big meeting was last week, I'm sure another one is coming up. I'm sure you can find your perfect RP match at one of the meetings, they're pretty diverse in attendance.
I wish I could say I was up for RP, but my current schedule is so varied and hectic I'm finding it hard to even squeak out some pocket D small-talk.

Honestly, this thread OP seems less like a "let me help you with making your character origin more interesting by infusing it with the right lore."
and more "I have a cat girl that got hated on in Pocket D so I'll disprove them in a thread"
And I dont really get how "cat girls get a bad rap because of erpers" ties into people "misusing lore"

Sure, over zealous hammy characters are annoying but you know who is the most popular character in the new batman cartoon? The large ham Aquaman. OUTRAGEOUS.
Sure, stupidly moody introspective characters are annoying, but who had the greatest super hero movie of all time made? Batman.
So the OP pretty much said both extremes of super hammy and super moody characters are out.
Same with "lets go RP in the base and not play the game", I mean if thats fun that's fun. He even had the SG members agree with the leader so I don't see who that's annoying?
