Mitos and Hamidon have a very high mez magnitude that must be overcome. One person using a sleep/confuse will never break this magnitude themselves; they'd need lots of people using the same power. That's why the Hold stage works as it does.

You'd be wasting your time using Mass Hyp/any confuse power. You could use mesmerize since it does damage without problem; you certainly won't have the goal of sleeping the Mito/Hamidon though.

If you had been natural level 45 at the end of the Raid, you'd have gotten a level 50 HO. Not usable until you were level 47 though.

Being SK'd is the only way you'd get a HO under level 50. It is generally called out by Raid Leaders for people to UN-SK when Hamidon is close to defeat.

Don't consider the HO you have as junk just yet. Keep it, use it, whatever....but keep in mind that you can combine the same HOs now. Your level 46 HO will be Red by the time you reach 50, but you will be able to have a chance at combining it.

That's what happens when you answer newspaper ads looking for people who "must get along in group situations".

Air-dropping PA is only as inaccurate as the droppers let it be.

PAs do get "stuck" occasionally, but they will still follow from the ground while the dropper moves to and fro in the air; this can easily make the PA get the aggro of most any Mito near them, regardless of the PA attacking the Mitos. PA will not steal aggro from a Mito that is under attack by X number of Heroes though. And PA will not attack anything if the caster is a certain distance away, but can still draw aggro; if there is a Hami taunting tank during the Mito attack stage and he goes down, moving a PA group directly into Hami can save the bubble group from his aggro if they are near.

Reason why I don't mention/like Jack is because he has to be in melee range....and he still won't use his hold sometimes. I've seen plenty plug away with their pitiful ranged attack while basically hugging the big blob. For that reason, as the HOLD stage is starting, our raids generally only call out for Sings and Fluffy. And once the hold stage is underway, we try to not have more pets summoned for lag/hold-slowing reasons.

Just my 2 cents:

1) Recovery Aura does nothing for one's accuracy or recharge
2) Casting RA, SB, AB and Fortitude during the Hold stage can hinder one's ability to cast their hold. Holds take priority. I like to tell people, at this point, to put Single target holds on AUTO, and click AM when it is available. Hasten is not necessary at this stage, but can be clicked when available. The other powers listed have too long an animation/cast time and can hinder activating powers. They also require targeting of another player, taking away the target from Hamidon.
3) Accuracy during the Hold stage isn't really a concern in general. Hamidon is not hard to hit with any power.


Also, casting pets during the hold stage can hinder ones ability to cast their holds. Generally the only truly useful pets during the hold stage (or attack stage) are Singularities and maybe Dark Servants. Sings are better because they will never expire; Dark Servants can expire and will cause people X time to reacquire a target. Any delay that hinders Holds to be activated is a bad thing. So once the Hold stage is under way, and unless you have Sings, pets should not be casted during this time or during the attack stage. Continuing to cast holds far far far outweighs the additional damage from the pets, especially in comparison to the time needed to cast the pets.

And of course, different servers/leaders will have different preferences,
