Cap's been in the life or death battles a lot longer than Spidey (also, Steve wasn't that much older than Pete when he became Cap), and has had real combat training and trains endlessly. for all Pete's agility and powers, he's really a crap fighter. He throws kicks and punches, but relies a lot, probably way too much on his spidey sense. IMO, that gives Cap the edge there.

In any case, in the past i would've thrown victory to the Avengers. But against the X-Men's "extinction team", the fight's gonna be nasty.

If anything, the duels were the only worthwhile thing in episode 1. But they were a total ****fest in ep 2. Watching Yoda bounce and zip around was bloody stupid, and the fight between anakin, sarum..dooku, and obiwan was underwhelmingly meh-worthy. 3 was good, but over choreographed.

Agreed. It's not a great film, but it is a fun movie. Definitely worth getting the DVD.

Moreso if she thinks she's Wonder Woman.

And yet there are people who spend money on his books. Why does this annoy me? Because he's being put on books with characters i like (Hawk & Dove, Hawkman, Deathstroke for example) and unlike the other more popular characters, they only get 1 title per month (if that, i still have to wait for my new JSA book), so unless someone says something, NOT buying something isn't just telling the companies you don't like an artist or a writer, it's saying you don't want to read comics about that character and instead want to read another Batman, Superman, Wolverine, or Spider-Man title.

Why are we griping about it here? Because there are other fans here who share those same frustrations. Will it get anything done, not if all that's done is some kvetching here. But it does help to realize the opinion you have isn't yours alone. Rao knows knowing other people hate some of this tripe keeps me from tromping down to a con with a machete.

Bah, the '90s gave us the Valiant & CrossGen lines, and Dark Horse got their hands on the Star Wars license (among being an awesome place for other franchise comics). Also DC and Marvel got more right than wrong. The '90s gets a bad rap in comics that is completely undeserved because what folks remember most is crap like the Clone Saga and most of the Image books.

Answers my question about which books are next on the chopping block. Hrm, if we got Liefeld to draw a Batman book, would it get cancelled?

I don't see why. Karate Kid's big thing is he's a great martial artist, but so is the Bat, and he fights dirty. Really dirty.

Against Cap, it could go either way.

I still dig the movie. I don't see why it gets the flak it does.

As for why movies suck, because some folks make bad movies. Always have, always will. And if you think there are no good movies, you're either way too uptight, or you just aren't looking and just like to *****.

WW's son would probably end up being top jock in everything that could come even close to being an athletic competition if he attended a normal school. I don't see Diana being a "you must hold yourself back and hide who you are to fit in" kind of parent. Also depends on who the father ends up being.

In Clark's case, before the re-whatever, his offspring would've also been Lois's kid. So i definitely see them going the "you must blend in and not use your powers to give yourself an unfair advantage" route and making it pretty hard on the kid.

But then the both of them would end up in the Teen Titans and we'd end up a different version of Connor and Cassie. My end verdict? Tougher being Superman's daughter.
