  1. I'll chime in with my favourite troller combo fire/time. Fire to burn things Time to keep you safe. Can farm easily on SOs.
  2. i called my Eric the well fed i think dark/storm goes well with an fat evil Norwegian pirate from the future
  3. In other news my dark/stormer is lvl 33 xD
  4. That's true I never seem to tire of making time toons
  5. I'd make a dark/storm too except I'm in the process of leveling a bots/storm
  6. Seen lots of dark/dark dark/time anyone made dark/kin or dark/rad? How did they go? I'm thinking FSed shades and beast would put out some damage and darks tohit debuff would make up for kins lack of survival. Rad mainly cause i havent made one in years and pretty much overused all the other secondaries

    New Grav Tweaks

I always thought they should have given crushing field to singy....at least then mobs attention would be focused on him and not you. It might screw up mob placement but at least you'd have aggro free containment as well.
  9. Would be interesting to to make a fire/poison troller....if you could handle the end suckage and having little survivability till 38 +.
  10. to the OP it is pity you don't want a fire/time troller.......its a monster combination....especially on your end bar.....:P

    SS/Inv Help.

yeah for ss/inv id either go cardiac or body mastery depending on how u wanted to build ur toon. It depends really on how much recharge you feel u need in your build. If you want high recharge body mastery is better + spiritual (unless you really want patron AoE) else just go cardiac.

    Hot Cross Puns

Anyway the original aim of this thread was to say how much fun i was having on my dark/elec and wondering if anyone else out there found it as fun as i have.

my dark/elec is happy to fight freakshow....their resuscitation is only temporary before I give them a true death

Happy Easter everyone on the scrappers board!!!! May your Easter Eggs be many and your stomach aches few, your piles of enemies many and your trips to the hospital few (or the reverse if your a masochist :P) Jesus may have risen from the dead but my enemies wont
  15. This is my current db/inv build. It has thousand cuts in it which isnt optimal but I like it to complete sweep combo and to give a extra attack if i need it. It has similar stats to the OP but less s/l and more c/f defense.

    alpha confusion

This my intended build (without incarnate on) minus the hecatombs its not a massively expensive build. The spiritual path fits in easily where is the if I used the cardiac I'd have to start from scratch and I'm not sure I'd be able to improve on the defense and recharge

    alpha confusion

So just having got my ss/inv brute to 50 I considering the best alpha slot option for him( i know best is subjective) I originally was going to go spiritual for the recharge which is rather hard to get on an invuln (after getting all those def bonuses) and the heal portion boosts up dull pain (bigger heal and more hp) and having energy mastery does help end issues. However cardiac does look tempting with the ability to be free of end problems (and getting a little res to toughen him up). Not to mention nerve boost up def (all that acc would be a waste tho).
So how do you decide which path to go??
  20. I hoping I can do that this toon is looking like quite a well rounded toon:fire primary for damage and ice secondary that adds damage and boosts fire sometimes lacking control
  21. After having made a elec/ice and really liking the melee aspect I figured I'd make a another /ice toon. I decided to make an fire/ice dom even through its likely to be an uber end heavy combo. I was wondering if cardiac alpha slot is necessary or can its end problems be solved through heavy end reduc and/or some help from epics/patrons. If I did indeed decide to go cardiac would it make a resistance epic/patron armour more attractive? Also anyone out there thinking that P.B with domination and spiritual core paragon would make flashfire's stun would last practically forever.(not that mobs would last that long) Just my thoughts
  22. so no one has one then oh well
  23. Got my plant/energy into mid 20s and its looking good. Anyone else rocking this combo and what epics did you guys get???
  24. i have a mid 40s Dp/ta corr and its fun laying down oil slick and ur debuffs and dancing amongst the burning mobs . It would shine once u get some def to let you survive doing that. Trick Arrow doesnt really keep you alive more it lets you die slower. As others said low levels you'll need to team and even then your damage will make you despair. I think traps or dark(which isnt saying much cause dark goes with anything) would go well with dual pistols.
  25. Yeah elec melee works best with alot of recharge and invuln works best with heavy typed defense not an easy task to get lots of both
