Reactive or Paralytic?
I can speak for Reactive. It does have the +fire damage proc and the -Res.
I am going with the 75% chance of +fire dam, 25% -res Very Rare.
The extra damage does add up quickly and the -res isn't anything super special.
I would be interested to see it with a Spine/Dark or Spine/Fire as Reactive does proc with the Damage auras.

I assume it'll only have a chance to proc every 10 seconds, which is to say it probably won't be very impressive in damage auras, even with dual damage auras. Certainly better than nothing, though. I'm looking forward to it on my Katana/Dark.

Spines/FA Melts things with the double Damage Aura and the Fire dot.
That said its pretty nice with Damage Aura to take the To Hide Debuff, if you want some surviability boost.
Edit: For post above...
Currently it seems to have a chance per Tic, not the 10 sec. This may be fixed in the furture (Im asuming it will be)

Side Note: Just for laughs I ran an ambush farm the other day, spawned both of the ambushes and went afk. Came back roughly 10min later to find everything had been killed by the two auras. Reactive FTW. (Plus I LOVE the sea of little orange numbers melting baddies)

I would suggest getting more than one Interface. Reactive is good for soloing, but so many people will have it that critters will be at their debuff cap very quickly. Pick up something else for teams.
Like was already mentioned, the interface procs currently trigger on damage done, but with thier set caps (4 stacks of the debuff, and 6 stacks of the DoT) i actually don't see it changing very much.

Is there a cap on fire DoTs from DIFFERENT people? Sorry I don't know anything - I don't tend to pay attention until things go live.

i think its just 6 stacks IIRC regardless of the sources (4 stacks for the debuffs, 6 for the dot) but even then, 6 stacked DoTs, on top of everything else is some amazing DPS gain (people are averaging it to about 28 PURE DPS increase, some have said its up to 40 DPS..)
Ah, I missed that. That IS going to be very interesting. At the very least, the debuff is going to be a lot more reliable even with the 25% one. And since I don't have much in the way of AoE, it sounds like the Interface in my aura IS my AoE, really.

As for me, I have both diagmagnetic (-tohit/-regen) and reactive.
Because of the constant proc rate, I use diagmagnetic on my spines/fire (who farms at 21% defense, cause it was always possible too with super high damage). The -20% tohit on the enemies around me is like walking around with my own forcefield, I can finally do 54x8 instead of 53, the -regen is just gravy when fighting AV's on teams.

Does this mean my best defensive power in my /Fire blapper would be... Blazing Aura??
That's insane if it is. Utterly insane.

Gah. Now I want to make a Spines/Fire. Except I don't have a character concept ready for that particular combo. Why can't Scrappers have Ice Armor so I can finally make my Spines/Ice? Yeesh!

I read some of these, and my first reaction is "That just can't be WAI!!!!"
But it must be. Wow. I would immediately put the -to hit in most toons with a damage aura. On my Dark/Dark it would be like a resurrection of the I3 cloak of fear
hahah, it take a little while to warm up, and not sure if you can stack it 4 times with 1 damage aura, but supplemented by some AoE on mobs that arent dead under 4 taps and yea. Well... actually healing flames of course, but still.

This is like Manna from Heaven. All I have to do is drop Vengeance and get BA, I lose 7.5% recharge only. I was planning on taking this anyway, but I didn't think it'd be that good. First tick of the aura for the first debuff and go beyond the softcap, further debuff if necessary if things are standing and to counteract incoming defense debuffs or tohit buffs...
This is insane, I love it!
EDIT: And I do have a spines/fire. Thorn Tree Flame, who got her powers from messing around with the invention system without following the university courses or even the recipes

It will be awesome for my fire/ice dom and my firekin troller XD
What are all you guys using? I seem to like both of these the best. I am a Kat/SR scrapper, and I am running with the Musculature Alpha for the damage boost. Will the Defense Debuff stack with my innate ones from my normal attacks? Or should I just go for the fire DOT to heap on the DPS?
