Venomous Gas Fix!

So now Venomous gas will enable ToHit and Defense debuffs. I hope the relevant procs will work too.

I'll be sure to test the procs out later tonight.

But now if everything is working, I'm going to have to respec my character so that VG will be fully slotted. I guess I've been due for this for some time now.

I'm so eager to make my exceptional plant/poison into an even greater threat to those looking to do harm to Paragon!

Nope, just VG. Now fixing Poison trap would just make /poison uber!

Just having anchilles proc and Lady Grey's damage proc in VG is a lot of fun! They're fireing off nicely for me.

You're inspiring me....maybe I should play my poison toon and get him to 50 regardless of the Poison Trap issue.

I must be the wierdo that picks it up for the simple fact that it consumes endurance like a boss.

Please tell me, what is exactly wrong with Poison Trap?

I have been eager to make a plant/poison troller recently so ... I may still make one but just want to know ahead of time what to expect with this combo.

Would be interesting to to make a fire/poison troller....if you could handle the end suckage and having little survivability till 38 +.

Poison Trap is fixed now BUT you need to treat it like the traps version. The more procs and Global Recharge/Global Accuracy the better. My first choice would be the lockdown proc.

More like level 35. I have tested that combo. If you had Ageless to nullify your endurance woes you would be a BEAST. I destroyed this one Orange Mob. Smoke, Weaken, Envenom, Cinders, Hot Feet, Cages, Bonfire, VG toggle, Poison Trap again...most things don't even get a chance to live for more than 15 seconds with that combo. I would prefer Plant/ over fire though due to the dmg being high and you get less end suckage and more safety.

With Smoke and Weaken you can get up to -30 To Hit on a mob, adding in VG you get another -10 To Hit....sounds great but with Poison the biggest issue is survivability and end usage. These issues can be resolved with IO's or Incarni stuff if you have the time and money.

So the Troller Poison Trap is -end not -regen?

I guess you would add the Lockdown Proc, 1 Hold Dmg Proc, Energy Manip Proc and whatever else is flavoring?

I dont know why I thought that PGT and Poison Trap were the same beast?

I think I need to work a new cycle for a Mind/Posion Troller.

Start with Mass confuse, run in and drop a PG then hit them with Weaken and Envenom and finally whatever is left go with Mass Hypnosis to wait for everything to recharge.

I just go my Fire/Poison Corr to lvl 50...now the incarnate fun/IO fun begins...he will be a force to be reckoned with once I get Ageless.

I am just wracking my head on the devs idea to make VG a PBAoE instead of a targeted power!

I dont understand the goal of things like these and its perked me to never get an explanation as to why taking a power that I will never use.

I can imagine going into a mob with VG and getting ready to use Fissure or w/e else I can imagine but my imagination is weak at the moment and would rather it be an anchor power instead of a PBAoE

Oooh like Irradiate but with a different animation...I like that.
