This is a really irritating bug to have at GR launch. Like so many others, I planned to delete a char or two to make space for some new ones, which now just leaves me with 'unavailable' character slots, effectively meaning I can't play the game I've legitimately purchased.
Note for purists: I understand I can still play with my other chars and use some of the new features, but I want to start a new char in the new zone with new powers and I can't, which is irritating. -
A few immediate thoughts...
1. Yay!
2. Does this mean I can finally play a MM through the Hero content?
3. If this is going to be a totally separate zone, I guess it'll mean even fewer players in the current zones, which is a bit scary as it's already looking pretty empty these days. -
Heroic MM would keep me happy for months!
I think the Devs said that they didn't quite fit thematicallky at some point, which I really don't get. Just call them Team Leaders or whatever. There's nothing un-heroic about leading a team. -
Cool. Thanks guys. I had a feeling that was the case. Empath/Kinetics FTW!

Hi guys. Does anyone know how XP works when teaming up with Allies in MA missions?
Those I've tried seem quite erratic, so I have the following questions / observations:
1. It looks as though you don't get XP for damage caused by the ally. You only get it for the proportion of damage you do yourself. Correct?
2. Does the number of allies in a mish affect the XP you receive (e.g. similar to how it gets shared out in teams) or is it purely down to who does the actual damage? The more allies, the more likely it is that they do the damage, so the less XP you get?
3. Do the various ally levels affect the XP e.g. whether the ally is a minion, boss etc., or whether they're easy, extreme etc. when using customer chars? Or again, is this simply down to how much of the damage they're likely to do? If theyre an extreme boss, theyre likely to do more of the damage, so youre likely to get less or do you simply get less because you have an extreme boss with you?
4. Any other useful information relating to this that you could share?
Im mainly interested because I created a short arc involving the rescue of three Freedom Phalanx allies, who then fight alongside you. Its called The Richter Arc, and while I think its pretty good fun, the XP is quite limited. Im therefore keen to know whether I should reduce the number of allies, change the ally levels etc. to keep the basic story intact, but improve the XP.
Id be really grateful for your views on this. Thanks. -
While I dont really like the way the Combat Auras work in the new Cyborg pack (only showing up when in combat mode), I do like the holographic mask aura thats part of it.
It got me thinking that itd be cool to have more holographic auras e.g. full body holograms could expand your costume parts or your could add holographic shields (like some of the new chest plates) or whatever.
Just a thought. -
Thanks. You don't have a link do you?

Sorry if I'm missing something obvious, but the Issue 12 version of Mids' isn't out yet, so how are you guys posting builds for SoA with it? Thanks in advance.

Thanks, I was wondering that too.
What about health though, how does that work? Does it speed up the natural health regen rate of the pets, or does it increase the amount of health they get when they use healing powers? I'm assuming the former. -
I love my WS too. I shot up to about lvl 29, at which time CoV came out, so I've been on there lately, but I'm really missing Urban Shade and am probably going to go back to him this weekend.
My only advice to everyone that wants one is stick to your best char and keep going. I changed between alts for ages and got nowhere. When I decided I really wanted to go epic, I stuck with my main and here I am.
Good luck! -
What's the slash command for getting your minions to use emotes e.g. dance?
People kept saying on the beta, but I can't remember now. Thought it would be good to cover this here early on!
