What's the slash command for getting your minions to use emotes e.g. dance?

People kept saying on the beta, but I can't remember now. Thought it would be good to cover this here early on!

or petsay_name name <em dance> to get a specific pet to do something.

It means you can do things like
/petsay_name genin1 <em batsmash> That'll teach you to put caltrops in my pyjamas$$petsay_name jounin1 <em batsmashreact>Ow!

We did that once with a 7 team MM party. Ever seen 21 minions dancing around?

Don't forget /petcom Attack etc etc for specific commands, also works well in macro's

/bind F1 "l Get Over Here!$$petsay_all Yes Master!$$petcom follow" (<<or whatever the command is... hehe)

I am the Blaster, I have filled the role of Tank, Controller and Defender
Sometimes all at once.
Union EU player! Pip pip, tally ho, top hats and tea etc etc

Here is some petsay fun

Here is a way to have a pet say multiple comments, in sequence, with a touch of a key. If this has been mentioned elsewhere my apologies and credit for this really belongs to the author of the complete guide to binds on the CoH forums.

1) make a directory on your HD, I called it c:\cov
2) make a text file named, for example, pet1.txt
3) in the file put this line ;

o "petsay_all your pets comment here$$bind_load_file c:\cov\pet2.txt"

4) bind to whatever key you like, or make a macro of it. Also you could use a specific pet name with /petsay_name name
5) make a pet2.txt file with;

o "petsay_all your pets other comment here$$bind_load_file c:\cov\pet1.txt"

6) in Cov use /bind o "bind_load_file c:\cov\pet1.txt"

Now when you hit "o" the pet will cycle between the two comments. Clearly you can add many more comments, and emotes, if you wish. Just make sure to have the last file refer back to the first one. I plan on eventually having my pets have arguments among themselves.

Pet1"you pull"
Pet 2"no you pull"
Pet1"lets get Mikey to pull"
Pet2"Mikey will pull anything"
Etc

Ok, so we got the command lines for pets, but whats the command line for just your player because i only get bad commandline

How do you change the text they speak when you send them into battle, becuase the damn robots talk to much and when theres 3-4 white speech bubbles everywhere you can't see whats going on.

Menu > Options

It's in there somewhere! Probably under Chat Options - you can set it to be Disabled, Show Own Pets Speech, Show Teammates Pet Speech, Show All Pet Speech (IIRC).

This does not affect the /petsay command, and only the canned responses henchmen give.
