Wont the defence bonus from the target bubbles stack with the defense from the Dispersion field?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yep all the bubbles stack so the protector bots will bubble all your bots, then you can single target bubble again and then get dispersion bubble out for a 5 bubble stack on the assualt and drones and a 4 bubble stack on the protectors. Then if you throw leadership powers on you can be buffing the hell out of them. But in most cases and with dispersion properly slotted it will be the only bubble you need if your also using manuevers from the leadership pool. This functions just fine in nearly all cases for me, its only when i come up against two red boss's or a purple boss or a large group consisting of flamers that i pull out the single target bubbles as well for extra padding.

Crimson Revenant - Special Unlock Contact, Acquire "Hammer Down" from defeating Ghost of scrapyard Giant Monster in Sharkhead to unlock

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yep was fairly easy fight today against the Ghost of the Scrapyard, but I didn't know about the badge unlocking a new contact. So of I go to find I have out lv'd him?? Is there a lv cap on this contact?
  3. [ QUOTE ]
I was thinking leadership, but then as i've solo'd all my missions to 11 and not died once, the knock back from pulse rifle is a god send

    [/ QUOTE ]

I would suggest taking leadership it realy helps later on, once you have your big bubble you can have manuevers and tactics running all the time with out the need to keep putting the small bubbles on your pets. Force bolt is I have found essential for me as with it I can keep the boss's down on the ground 75% of the fight allowing my boys to wittle him away, I have it slotted with endrdx,Acc,Range as you realy don't want those longbow and council flamethrowers coming anywhere near you later on.

You start to realise once you have the final upgrade for your bots that the speed of a fight will be determined by what the bots open with. If the fight starts with the drones on full auto the protectors throwing photons and the assault bot opening with rockets the fight is over in a matter of seconds but if they start with a different pattern it can mean chasing down runners and a more tactical control of the fight.

On the whole tho after lv32 and the final upgrade they are pretty damn tough, you will be upping the dificulty level before you know it. I saved up 5 million infamy and have just slotted with lv40 SO's, damage, accuracy and defense at max.
  4. If anything its more of a drag getting up to 20, from 20-25 was ok but tough. When you start to outlevel your SO's at 21 and 26 then again at 31 and 36 it gets tougher. But once you get your assualt bot at 26 the fun realy begins and as for the final upgrade at 32 they just turn into uber killing machines eating red boss's for breaky. You get your summoning and buffing down to a fine art after awhile timing it to the last second and I only fully buff the assualt and protector bots before starting a map then buff the little guys on the fly, saves a little time.

Suff that makes burn patches! Stoopid robots run all over the place to get away from them, or run nowhere at all!

    [/ QUOTE ]

This is true the council and longbow are bad for this with there flame throwers, causing havoc. But on the whole theres no real enemies I shy away from, maybe freakshow tanks as they can one shot my drones and protectors sometimes.

But that lot are easy compared to when i met the evil [censored] Aurora Borealis hero no less, made a right mess of my boys many times. Had to lv up and redo the mission when she went red, but even then took about 10 min solid fighting recalling all my bots at least once and the drones twice. And now I have to face her again in another mission part of one of the story arcs in nerva, oh well.

    Aurora Borealis
  6. This is interesting as I have spent a fair bit of time in Bloody Bay and Warburg doing the indoor missions. I have found that the longbow are not good against my bots and I can get through the mission in vicious and ruthless setting anywhere between 15-20min, without any problem at all.

I also started fighting at the top lv but found as your study proves that the time taken increases to the point where the xp gained per min falls. So fighting on ruthless for me is the optimum, and with kills I can knock up 11-12K of xp per mission.

The problem is the missions are all the same and after awhile pretty dull, but they give so much more xp than the normal map missions, sometimes 2000xp more? And with fly its easy to get around the pvp maps without getting aggro.

As for the other pvp missions I found the BB meteor mission easy to collect all the 6 samples of the meteor, as i have stealth and can fly, so just drop in take sample and leave. But the bunker part knocking out the gun turrets was to tough with my bots, in the end had to employ the help of a brute. A good tactic is to go around knocking all the big guns down to a little health, then quickly finish them all of. The 4 guns on the bunker are easy.

The missile strike mission in Warburg was tougher but would have been easier if I had avoided aggro from heroes, getting into the underground bunker is fine and saving the scientests no problem but then leading them to their control bunkers on the surface always seemed to attract the attention of heroes for me so made it a bit tough. But the temp power is nice even if it is just a one timer, the BB reward is a shiven decimator pet, this is a real bonus and has got me out of a couple of nasty double red end boss's situations. Will be going back to get another one soon.

  9. Does anyone know how to change or remove the text the pets speak when you command them to attack a target, its starting to annoy me when 5 of them all say it at once and obscure the view.
  10. Tis true as I have got higher I'm spending more time looking after my pets than helping them fight, with tactics manuevers and despersion bubble all running at the same time I can't afford to run attack powers, photon grenade has become useless, I may slot and use it much later on. Force bolt is the only realy offensive power i use not for damage but to keep boss's and Av's down on the floor and to knock guys of my pets that are causing to much damage. Now at lv25 the with tactics slotted with Endrdx,Acc,Acc SO's the bots are hitting more often and harder so my job is just to stand back and look after them.
The only real joyless part is all the summoning and buffing at the start of every mission.
Like Greek said only buff bots individually when you are up against an tough red or purple, despersion is enough with the protector bots buffing as well.
  11. Ohh that would be asking to much, sit behind your PFF all day summoning pets, I don't think you can do that but i havn't tried so?
But you might be able to sit behind your PFF once your pets are all out and buffed and drop inspirations on them from time to time, and running tactics and maneuvers isn't a problem.

  13. [ QUOTE ]

Imho i would take PFF from the FF side, if you get too much attacks, pop the bubble and let your bots either kill all or die while you run away, a panic button

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yep I was thinking that to as I'm facing ever more difficult boss's and starting to bite it more often.
  14. I shall try to get there tonight with my boys.
  15. Hi guys

So this is my build so far would appreciate any comments or ideas, not sure if I should start getting into more of my secondarys like Dispersion Bubble and detention Shield, I havn't because I opened up Leadership for the extra defense dispersion bubble would have given me, and also I wanted Tactics. Have only put one slot in Photon Grenade not realy sure what to do with it, may be slot for accuracy.
Anyway tell me what you think, I was also playing with the idea of opening the concealment group in power pools for stealth.

    Primary

    Pulse Rifle Blast: Acc,Dmg,Dmg
    Battle Drones: Acc,Acc,Dmg,Dmg,Dmg
    Pulse Rifle Burst: Acc,Acc,Dmg,Dmg
    Equip Bot: EndRdx
    Protector Bots: Acc,Acc,Dmg,Dmg,Dmg
    Photon Grenade: Dmg

    Secondary

    Force Bolt: Acc,Recharge
    Deflection Shield: Def,Def,Def
    Insulation Shield: Def,Def,Def

    Flight

    Hover: Spd
    Fly: Spd

    Leadership

    Maneuvers: EndRdx,Def,Def
    Tactics: EndRdx

    Inherent

    BrawlDont use)
    Prestige Power Slide: (Don't use)
    Sprint: Spd
    Rest: Recharge

Will probably take repair at lv24 as I have enough defence at the moment, then obviously my big bot at lv26, the next slots possibly into tactics.
  16. Aracnos plot?

  17. Motts

    Minion Emotes?

How do you change the text they speak when you send them into battle, becuase the damn robots talk to much and when theres 3-4 white speech bubbles everywhere you can't see whats going on.
