Robotics/Force Field
i ll be having the build u ask me some time today
Going for the same build only not for the pulse rifle blast, I'll go for a leadership skill there
I was thinking leadership, but then as i've solo'd all my missions to 11 and not died once, the knock back from pulse rifle is a god send
hehe you have force bolt for knockback, and with one or two recharge enchants it does the trick pretty well to keep a foe knocked to the ground, only problem is when you knock him back in the middle of another group
And the knockback of the rifle blast isn't working always, and sometimes I hate the knockback of my bots laser blast, see reason above
Hmm, after a bit more play just before i was rudely kicked off (:P) I found myself getting into a little more trouble than before with members of the Legacy Chain. Luckily, my choice of the pulse rifle helped me finish off the enemy before then finished me off, whilst keeping other minions down with force bolt. Perhaps the pulse rifle my be a little useless in PvP (which is the buld i am aiming for) but for now in PvE, i think im going to stick with this.
/ninjaedit STILL not died yet though
for me it depends when I have all the necessary skills I want for my build
I gotta agree with this post, Its so far been one of the most destructive builds ive ever had the pleasure of playing with, and only 11 bars until I get my Swarm Missles

I would suggest taking leadership it realy helps later on, once you have your big bubble you can have manuevers and tactics running all the time with out the need to keep putting the small bubbles on your pets. Force bolt is I have found essential for me as with it I can keep the boss's down on the ground 75% of the fight allowing my boys to wittle him away, I have it slotted with endrdx,Acc,Range as you realy don't want those longbow and council flamethrowers coming anywhere near you later on.
You start to realise once you have the final upgrade for your bots that the speed of a fight will be determined by what the bots open with. If the fight starts with the drones on full auto the protectors throwing photons and the assault bot opening with rockets the fight is over in a matter of seconds but if they start with a different pattern it can mean chasing down runners and a more tactical control of the fight.
On the whole tho after lv32 and the final upgrade they are pretty damn tough, you will be upping the dificulty level before you know it. I saved up 5 million infamy and have just slotted with lv40 SO's, damage, accuracy and defense at max.

Is this true?
My build includes the two target bubbles AND the togle dispersion field AND force bubble.
Assuming the two togles are on, do i not need ot bother target bubbleing my minions?
Wont the defence bonus from the target bubbles stack with the defense from the Dispersion field?

yeah, in tough situations I still bubble my little guys, but sometimes it just takes too long for me to bother with You can replace them anyway, hehe

Yep all the bubbles stack so the protector bots will bubble all your bots, then you can single target bubble again and then get dispersion bubble out for a 5 bubble stack on the assualt and drones and a 4 bubble stack on the protectors. Then if you throw leadership powers on you can be buffing the hell out of them. But in most cases and with dispersion properly slotted it will be the only bubble you need if your also using manuevers from the leadership pool. This functions just fine in nearly all cases for me, its only when i come up against two red boss's or a purple boss or a large group consisting of flamers that i pull out the single target bubbles as well for extra padding.

3 x defence buff + 1 end reducer for Deflection/Insulation shields.
Dispersion bubble I'd go with 3x defence buff + 3x end reducer.
With ED theres not much variety in how you do your bubbles now.

Agreed. I picked up PR Burst with the express intention of dropping it in the mid-30s - but for the last 25 levels, it's meant I can finish off low-HP mobs whilst the bots focus on the next major target.

They are amazing! I played a Necromancy/Poision to 19 and got bored as hell. I was gonna ditch the whole Mastermind AT and go for something else, but on a whim tried this build. And guess what? It's amazing! You wanna team play? It's sorted. You wanna solo a massive mission? It's sorted.
If you are just starting out on CoV, or are thinking of trying something different, try this AT/Build and you will, i'm sure, love it!
Anyway, a quick run down of what i have so far. It's not much, but even at this low level it's a fantastic build.
