Hey!!! What happened to our sticky of the channels? Rassle frassin...
Welcome to Protector, Rowdy.
There are several. I'm sure I will miss at least one.
Protector Vigilance is currently the most busy channel that I subscribe to.
Protector Watch still has quite a few members, but it is much less busy.
There is a private channel that you would have to get an invite to, but I have no idea how busy it is nor do I know anyone in it.
Lastly there is Jello Shooters which is the local BS/all around silliness channel. Not for the faint of heart however, it can get pretty animated at times. -
Now that is a great idea. Care to share the service that you used?
-
I usually go to one of the WW or Black Markets that doesn't get used much like KR or Sharkhead. That way when I get done I can craft or sell depending on what I did with the respec.
-
I am going to give you the courtesy of not ripping you a new one for the questions which have already been answered multiple times. Unlike how you treated me yesterday when I was having a bad day and the whole respec thing just wasn't' clicking for me.
IO set bonuses only work up to within three levels of your exemplared level.
IE. If you slot Level 50 bonuses, you will only get the set bonus from level 47 on up. If you are exemplared below level 47 you loose the bonuses.
See this Paragonwiki article on how set bonuses work.
But what about the actual IO percentages? Aren't those less at levels below 50?
Yes, but unless you are slotting ridiculously low sets, the amount that you loose per IO will most likely be made up for in the set bonuses. ED (Enhancement Diversification) means that you loose part of the enhancement value when you slot more than 1 of a certain type of enhancement, say accuracy. The more you slot, the more you loose. See this Paragonwiki article for more information on how enhancement bonuses work.
All of this being said, I try to buy my enhancements for the level at which I think I might exemplar to most often. For me that is level 28-32. Your mileage may vary. Pick a level to try to get your bonuses at that will work for what you plan to do with the character. If you will only ever run level 50 content then level 50 IO's are fine, but if you want your bonuses to work at a lower level, then you should plan your build accordingly. -
I for one will welcome our extraterrestrial overlords.

I can't believe that this question is being asked yet again! It's the default slot assignment. In other words the slot the power comes with.
-
This is information that someone will find useful even if you don't.
-
Which is totally silly. If they are going to show it at the beginning, then it should stay put. Or not show it at all. Extremely confusing the way it is.
-
The fitness pool is there once I finish the respec, but I can't see it after the second power is taken. Cosmetic bug, but annoying.
-
I logged on my level 11 Praetorian corruptor and started to respec. As soon as I select my second power, the fitness pool disappears. I have tried the respec several times, backingout after the pool disappears, but it won't come back. Off to see if it truly goes away or if it is just a UI bug.

Quote:Back about a year and a half ago I had Manti down to about 30 minutes or so with my group of regulars. Still pretty sure I could do it in much less than an hour if the team was willing.Ah the Manticore TF... *shudders*
One of the first Task Forces I did, a long, long, long, looooong time ago (Super Sidekicking and IOs and Veteran Powers did not exist then, and Jack E. was still in charge...) - the first time took about 4-5 hours, and the second one close to 8 (damn you, Paragon Protectors with your Moments of Glory !!!)...
I did it again more recently during Kyo's Taskforce Tuesdays, and it "only" took 2 1/2 hours...
Now get off my lawn !!! -
Quote:Any account hacking is likely to occur on the NCSoft account management web page for your master NCSoft account, not at the in-game login for any particular game. They likely run some script on the master account web page that detects certain actions as 'hacking' and then sends an alert to support and/or locks the account. That doesn't mean that the script is correctly detecting a hacked account - but ever since the master login bugs they had a while back I suspect NCSoft has been extremely paranoid.
Point taken. -
I fail to see how anyone could have gotten my login, much less my password. I am pretty security conscious.
Maybe it's just me, but I take what customer support tells me with a grain of salt. Perhaps it's because I have worked customer phone/email support that tells me to be suspicious. I would be willing to lay money on my account being secure.
The part that I didn't mention earlier was that I was playing the account when it was banned, so how could it have been "Hacked"?
Unless of course I wasn't me at the time. -
Happened to me Sunday night while I was playing. Obviously I wasn't me at the time.
Just now got my account back a few hours ago.
Totally and utterly ridiculous to perma-ban a 63 month veteran who did nothing wrong. That's what I get for knowing how to play the market I suppose. -
Thanks for the hug. I needed that. <gropes blindly>
-
That one was back in October.
-
That's skippy, but the timing is a bit off for me. With Christmas and an upcoming birthday my disposable income is nil at this time of year. Bummer I won't be able to take advantage of it.
If it went into the middle of January I would be able to subscribe all three accounts up. -
They have always been discounted, just last year they offered a better discount.
-
The offer ran into January last time it happened. I remember because I used my January bonus to extend my account.
-
Thank you so much for updating us. It means a lot to have a Development team that keeps the players updated instead of guessing at everything.
While it would have been nice to have I19 for the holiday, I would much rather have it in a working condition for all players a few weeks later. -
<facepalm>
Zek you knew better. Best just to not touch the card just bring tongs with you to the mailbox. -
Random number generator is still random.
-
It's been like this since GR launched.
-
Ya gotta remember that anyone new who bought GR got a free month of game time most likely, so the subscriptions may not be shown in the numbers yet. It all depends on how they run their accounting.
