Welcome to Protector, Rowdy.
There are several. I'm sure I will miss at least one.
Protector Vigilance is currently the most busy channel that I subscribe to.
Protector Watch still has quite a few members, but it is much less busy.
There is a private channel that you would have to get an invite to, but I have no idea how busy it is nor do I know anyone in it.
Lastly there is Jello Shooters which is the local BS/all around silliness channel. Not for the faint of heart however, it can get pretty animated at times.

I second all the channels Ura mentions and will add Protector TFs as a good channel for getting on task forces or forming them.
Protector TFs was locked to new folks for a while - not sure if it still is or not. Try hitting up Black Leather Angel or Onry if you can't add yourself to it - they are the active channel mods.

Teamsters (from the SG of the same name): TFs and GM hunts.
Protector Monsters : Giant monsters
Paragon Watch : Task Forces, Giant Monsters, Badges etc.
And I like to call Jello Shooters Protector's own Biker Bar... you've been warned...

Hey all, I really dont have much time to search since I have an appt. to be at in approximately 15 minutes, but Ive been trying to get back onto my main whom is located on the protector server and I was wondering if there were any TF channels? One of the reasons I enjoyed Virtue so much is because they had very active channels. Does protector have any? If so, could you share them with me.
