But not boss HP increases, and you did not live up to your statment that if there were mob HP increases, defenders/controllers would get more "oomph". -
The fact remains that a great many bugs/issues that were posted on the dev corner and testing room threads, and that were /bugged in game were apparently ignored.

Yes, your testing was mostly pointless, the threads in the "dev corner" were ignored, and issue 3 was rammed live pretty much as is.

Well, I guess we know now, the answer to the question in the original post is "no". Issue 3 is live, boss hps are ridiculous (mainly because of the increased healing rate), and defenders/controllers got nothing.

Um, sorry, no. See, there's a deal here-Cryptic makes a game that lives up to what they said it would be like, with soloing for the most part being a viable playstyle (this was a huge factor in it's success to date), and we pay them every month. I shouldn't feel "lucky" that I get what I was told I was paying for. And what other games do has nothing to do with COH.

So? Who says you are supposed to "get" other people's motivations in playing this game? I doubt anyone cares if you "get" it. Let's try this again-Cryptic made a very big deal about the fact that you could supposeldy solo a great deal of this game, if that was your preference. -

Blasters and scrappers deal comparitive damage, with blasters (at least theoretically) being higher than scrappers. By the deffanitions within the game itself, scrappers are already "lumped in" with blasters. If they lower blaster damage without touching scrapper damage, suddenly they will not be the top dog of damage dealers, and while I have no problems with this personally, I'm sure the blasters would complain, and to a degree, rightfully so.
Perhaps the answer is not to lower blaster OR scrapper damage, but blaster AND scrapper AoE damage. Perhaps just blaster AoE's, but since we don't have the sheer numbers in front of us, it wouldn't surprise me to find that one needed to be tweaked alongside the other.

There's a little thing called ...."range". Please show me my aoe ranged attack, I seem to be missing it. Scrapper's aoes do not compare to blasters. You don't think that higher damage aoes, more aoes (in general) and range makes up for anything? -

Um, excuse me? Aoe alpha strikes are an issue, so lower scrapper damage? Please show me my ranged aoe attack, I seem to be missing it. Thank you, no, my damage is high, but mostly against single targets, I don't need it lowered. Don't lump scrappers in with blasters. -

If you want to deal damage... get a blaster or scrapper. If you not interested in that, get a defender/controller.

Paying attention for teh win! They aren't asking for anything *near* scrapper/defender damage, they are talking about Statesman's statement agreeing that it will be necesaary to give controllers/defenders some sort of boost to maintain their viabilitywith rhe increased mob HPs. -

Coralax could be related (by the devs at least) to corax, the genus of birds that contains crows.

The issue (or at least the perceived issue) would seem to be, that on a scrapper for example, dark blast is not going to enable him tokill something from range, whereas a heavily slotted personal forcefield on a blaster may have a much bigger impact.

I guess you missed the part where they showed that one variety of Cylon is still the metal guy with the oscillating red eye, simply an updated design from the time of the TV series. Also, did you catch that the Cylon fighters (with a red eye thingy on the front) are actually a variety of Cylon themselves, as opposed to having a crew in them? I thought that was rather cool. -
Personally, I think the halloween mobs were players in an alternate universe version of COH, who kept getting door missions to a city, and who enede up sending in bug reports that there ambushes of mobs waiting for them just on the other side.

Nothing enrages players more than taking away their control of their character. The bodyguard ability in DAOC is sort of like this, in that you can't hurt the character being guarded until the bodyguard is dead, but it only works on one other player at a time, and requires the person being guarded to be immobile. Even so, a lot of people complain about it. Giving tanks the ability to essentially bodyguard their entire team would be *way* over the top. I mean, while your team was only able to target the tank, unless you have a tank doing the same, his team will pound you into goo in the meantime. I do see your point that a tank is rather useless as it stands for pvp, in he sense of being an agro magent, other players will simply ignore him until last. I agree, it seems rather obvious that CoH was not designed with any PvP in mind, so the balancing is going to be a nightmare of nerf bat swings. -

Incorrect. In the Blade universe, vampirism is a transmissible virus. Blade was exposed to it before he was born, and it altered his DNA in the womb, thus, mutant. -
What about accomplishment badges for non-TF missions? For example,
Spelunker-Complete CoT Cave Mission from SL2 "You have freed a local fortune teller from the clutches of the Circle of Thorns."
I have done this one pre Issue 2 on a couple of people, neither have this badge though, are we just out of luck, i.e. no retroactive badge?
