There's a small list of features that I'd like to see added. I've expressed them elsewhere. That should be sufficient. Entitlement is an.....nevermind.

Here's what's crazy. If I go to a restaurant and buy a meal, but there's no salt or pepper, if the food is good, I'm still going to eat the food. The manager of the restaurant knows this. So, why put the spices out there? When things slow down, they will load the table with spices. And, from what I've read, a larger portion of attention will be paid to SG bases. They are planning it now, so implementation should be within the year, I'd expect. Probably not close to the number of changes we would like, but better than nothing. Patience is a virtue.

And, only because I don't know - can you use Vengeance with a fallen imp?

I can certainly see Nemu's point. After the second half hour, the quick xp was nice, but almost taken for granted. It was tough to see what weaknesses my character had with all the stacked buffs and stacked debuffs. Taking him (Zethan) out solo showed me that he needed help with recharge and stamina. But, other than that, really quite survivable.

Pugs are really the backbone of this game. I enjoy a pug more than playing as a guest with someone elses SG. There are so many talented players on Liberty and they seem to play really well with just about anyone.

GEL and others have told me that it was the people in the game that compelled them to pay their money, month after month. I think that any super team is only going to be as good as the comments/jokes/puns that are told during the teaming. The xp is meaningless. Really. Turn it off from time to time. Your play doesn't change. It just slows down your progress towards 50.

Oh, now that the pedestrians have been returned from the mysterious kidnapping, I discovered that my fire/rad/fire level 48 controller Zethan has leveled from 1 to 48 in 147 hours - 6 of those hours spent idle, marketing, crafting and building/expanding the 5 alarm chili base. And a big thanks to Hazy for choosing a good name for the group. There were so many lame names to choose from, and this one was a good choice. (at least for me)

Edited: Did the majority of the Maria Jenkins arc solo - When I noticed Serpent Drummer and Statesman were going to be helping, they made things too easy, so I ramped up the diff and soaked in the xp. Got to 50 in 151 hours.

As a predominantly solo player, I think my best time to 50 was 223 hours (on my spines regen scrapper). I've no idea whether 147 is pretty quick for folks who typically team up on groups of 8, but it was definitely quick for me. The next two levels will likely come on the next two sessions. (But I sure would like to get on a kill all ITF - I'm thinking that would get me to 50, clearing that whole map.)
Given the points you made, Hazy, are you going to keep with the survey or just pick one?

I'd thought about a fire/ice blaster super team - but I'm uncertain how much fun the lower levels would be. Especially pre-stamina. (Yeah, I know, it's going to be inherent -but it's not now.)

Thanks, Hazy. Amygdala's info seems to be spot on. I just now got clobbered trying to solo the CoP - I wanted to see what I will be getting into. With the right (balanced)team, it really doesn't seem that tough.

My opinion as a single guy who has family that makes demands on my time by phone, by dropping in unannounced, etc.

GP is right, when he suggests that playing this game every waking hour that you're not at work isn't necessarily healthy. But, in some locations, there are not a great deal of alternative activities. I work nights. I sleep days. When I'm off, I tend to be up at night, and sleep days. This limits my ability to play softball, or find a bowling league or another hobby. So, I play CoH. I play a lot.

I read a lot. I belong to a 24 hour gym, so I can workout whenever I choose.
This young lady you speak of, she's simply a high maintenance girl. Nothing evil or sinister, just needing more attention than you're willing to give. Nothing evil or sinister about not wanting to be accomodating to her, either.

Keep doing the things you like to do, and someone will come along that also likes to do those things. Just don't be placing the game at the top of your priorities. God, Family, Job, CoH? CoH is a great game, but should it really be that high? It all depends on you.

The kinetic melee would sound really bad, with all those sound effects. I'd have to turn the sound off.

For me, it isn't the three new powers. It's the ability to select a different power pool. At present, if you have speed pool (hasten) and fitness (stamina) - that just leaves two to pick from. I typically go with invis and tp. But now, I can select an additional power pool - that's where the gravy is. Tough, weave - both are handy for blasters, albeit a bit end heavy. And yes, leadership pool might be nice as well.
Just having the choice will be nice.

Actually, I could just do 60 of them, buy an LOTG recharge, and sell them. THen buy the hecatomb off WW for about 400 million.

I feel really sorry for anyone that pays that much for something that has such little return. And shame on you for asking that much. I can do 310 hero tip missions(including the morality mission) and get that for free.
If you can't use it, you're better off asking to trade it for something that you can use - save yourself the ridiculous 10%, and the other party saves as well.

Sadly, I'll miss the MSR again. But payday should be really sweet with all the OT I'm getting.

I don't even know the MPH on mine. Do the power attributes display that speed?(I think that's what it's called - the one that shows your defense and resistance and such.) I only check that stuff before a battle, rarely during one, as I've got a rinky dink 15" monitor. That stuff just clutters my view.

My tank is 4 levels shy of 50. Maybe in a couple weeks, I'll get there.

LOL!! I simply cannot afford to pay anyone to make it worth their while. I'm still trying to find the funds to get my main his next set of purples. And then there's the Ill/Rad who's had all his Hami-o's removed and needs some purple sets as well. And then there's the scrapper who need perma Dull-pain...

It was just a thought I had when smack daddy told me my tank really moved well for a tank in granite armor. (The NPC in the mission that needed an escort couldn't keep up with my tank - so it's only sort of fast. Anything above a regular dash will leave an NPC that needs an escort to the exit in the dust. )


However, if any tank in granite form wants a foot race with mine, I'll be happy to oblige. Maybe right before the next Tanker Tuesday event. From one end of Kings Row to the next. Shouldn't take much more than 2 or 3 hours....

This is the way I look at it: There are so many different things that have to be done to create this CoX envoronment. The mere fact that the servers keep track of every outcast boss and Tsoo Sorcerer that my characters have defeated, not to mention every other action that provides a badge is pretty impressive.

Yes, we would all like the game to work seamlessly, where a left turn with the arrow key or whichever one you use would turn the character until you wanted it to stop, where you wouldn't run into those pesky torches in the CoT mission maps, etc.

But, this is what we have. If you feel it's the server you are on, please, go to another server and see if the problem persists. If the problems do not continue, why not stay on that server? There are people to team with on every server, if that's your wish.

There's probably a million different things that could impact what we call lag. Only a few of them are under the control of CoH.

I know that The Debt Junkies do an annual Bunny Run. It's a fun time, I certainly enjoyed it.
But, has anyone ever thought about Stone tank race? In Granite? With no outside buffs?
I thought that might be something interesting to watch or participate in when there's no golf on tv.

As far as I know, the log in server is down, has been down, but is supposed to be on as soon as "One of the devs PMed me he said it would take about as long as it would take to drink all the cool aid in a 5 gallon pitcher that was on fire due to weather problems.

Has an extra day been decided upon yet? I missed this Monday, as I was just too tired from work.

Also, has there been any thought to having all the F/Rads in a single SG? It would make teaming and planning of tfs easier, I would think.

I know that Fitz can be a bit of a clown on the forums, and in game. However, let me assure you, this guy can play his toons well, and when we attempted the MoStatesman, he was all business, no play. I didn't actually know it was Fitz until the tf was over.

I have since gotten MoStatesman, but if there were any toon I wanted an Mo on, I wouldn't hesitate a moment to ask Fitz for his help.

So, yeah, I'd say he can make it easier. How he does it, I could care less, just so long as he does.

And the silly comments before and after, well, just think of Andy Kaufman... a lot of people never quite knew when he was serious or kidding either.
