  1. They're either doing the trials already (so just wait around for them to respawn), or you're looking a bit early for primetime. Things're usually perky around 10pm EST onward in the D. Make sure you're in the lowest instance too.
  2. I'm a maybe for this as I don't know if I'll be awake after my flight back to the States. If I do, I think I'll run with Supreme Soviet, please. Thanks as always for hosting!
  3. First, welcome back.

    0. The two big websites for badge lookups are Badge Hunter (www.badge-hunter.com) and City Info Tracker (http://cit.cohtitan.com/).

    1. ...um. Hm. I dunno. There IS an Ouroboros flashback map which takes you to this map for another mission, though. Part of the Ouroboros tutorial series, I think? Look it up on paragonwiki.com for more info.

    2. Not sure which question you wanted answered here, so I'll go with the badge questions. The single-mission badge awards are all available via Ouroboros (the mission flashback system). Go to Paragonwiki and read up on how best to use that zone for your badge work.

So those people who were telling you to go to wiki.cohtitan.com? They were right. Start there, you have loads of catch-up to do!
  4. I might be able to assist tomorrow. Let me know.

Thus, it cannot be level related if two from the same spawn and one in the spawn gives credit and the other does not.

Personally I think its related to the shield they do at low health.
That should be easy enough to test. Stack holds, then kill while mezzed, then check badge count. Repeat with no hard holds. Compare.

    Badge Count

I start complimenting the badge count around 500 for random players. I guess that's my threshold.
  7. I'd love to do this, but I'm out of town for a wedding starting tomorrow afternoon. Kick the Rularuu's butts for me, gang.

    Returning player

Heya Roundtree, and welcome back to the game.

IMO, the best way to look for an active SG is via PUG (pick up group) teams. Meet new faces as you play. You can edit a player's "Notes" file and 4-5 star good players, and 1-star the jerks. (How? You rightclick on a player, click "Add/Edit Note", and you can star a player on a rating of 1 to 5, and enter notes about them. This is viewable ONLY by you.)

I use this for keeping track of the quality players out there, and since it follows the player on whatever toon they use (it ties to their global name), you can pick out players who might be on a different toon that when you met them. This is extremely effective for me to know, at a glance, if I want to join a team or not.

So, what do you do with this info? You use it to track the good people. Run with someone often enough, and ask if their SG is recruiting. TALK with other players about favorite SGs they prefer running with. Soon enough, you'll find a SG that'll meet your preferences for style and gameplay.

Welcome back, and if you need anything, don't be afraid to ask. Cheers.

Keyes actually isn't bad if everyone knows the deal, but that's the problem: Spending half the trial asking what you should be doing, and the other half trying to recover because people don't know what they're doing, decreases the fun factor considerably.

I think the Underground's strength vs Keyes is that there are periods of combat between the "must explain" phases, which make it easier for people to digest and prep. In Keyes, it's bam-bam-bam for each phase. With UG, it's bam-trot a quarter mile, kill things, bam-go into a hall, wipe a room, travel a bit, bam- etc.

That's it. After each reactor goes down, we all go underground for a 60 mob kill streak, to emerge beneath the next reactor.

    I's genius.

    Huh.

Why would some Fake Nemesis bosses work, and others not? That makes no sense. I hear you, SG, it just doesn't jive. I might actually give this a go later, just to see for myself...

    Dc?

Things seemed fine around 10pm EDT last night when I tried to get in. Assuming the issue is fixed. We hope.

Used Arameah's suggestion (disabling the autostart) to no success. Try to run the Launcher again, and it freezes on load. CPU cycles are stuck around 13% the entire time, so it's trying to do SOMETHING.

  14. Nice run, everyone. We got two of the four Master badges (Tour Guide, Preservation Specialist). Regenerate This was rough; we hit a wall with the AV placement due to pet blockage, but once we got the Walker parked we were able to drop him swiftly. We just missed the Avatar Assassin badge by a spare second unfortunately.

Cheers to all, you did great.

This summarizes my stance as well. New toons for Exalted, but old toons... why move them, unless my server population was in the toilet? Freedom's bustling nicely, and there are badgers galore to run with, so I'm staying.

BTW, Atomic Saint: I don't recall having run with you before on Freedom, but if you need help with the Master UG badges, we're doing a run tomorrow night. See the Freedom board for more info.

  19. I'm hoping to see some names sign up for this. Termi's an old badge fart. Help get him the badge before he gets all emo and sad. =D

My only real requisite for the run: Have a Clarion power for your Destiny ability. It helps the final mission tremendously, and for most of the War Walker fights to boot. Tactics running from several players is also a great boon here.

Already had a successful series of Keyes reactor tours (private and public), had to stop due to work though. Semi-destressing now, so I might pick it up again after my Iceland trip. I think the important thing to do in the tours is to compartmentalize the info to let them know the basics, and get a feel for the flow, w/o drilling "your way" into them.

If this is "Damage Inc" under @Roanna or @Blazze N Fury, message sent. Check out their website at http://damageincsg.guildportal.com/G...7&TabID=801743 too.

If you have the name of some of the players or toons in the SG, I'll send the message along for you.
  24. I'd say hardest three, from easiest to hardest, for me would be:
    • Underground (the badge req's really aren't hard, they just require solid coordination; the Avatar timed kill badge is a crap shoot though, but it's feasible)
    • Lambda (Marauder kill without grenades is a beast, especially with the clock ticking and Unstoppable popping up, sometimes two or three times).
    • Keyes (Sheer number of steps in an essentially open field of three identical regions gives people logic lobotomies after having complete these requirements, and Green Beam is the crap shoot of all crap shoots)
