Ok just an update guys and girls (and mutant's, robots, catgirls etc etc etc) of Union.
My intention is to get CoP's back up and running as of Friday 21st January, however, due to work I will not be availiable until 20:30, so I would like to ask that interested parties head to Pocket D prompty just before this time so that we I can login, we can thrash out some teams quickly and then get raiding!
The following friday, the 29th January I would like to invite representatives of any villain groups interested in hosting the CoP on a more regular basis redside, into my current SG base to discuss hosting the raids. Over the last few issue's raids I have noted several requirements that VG's could also follow, to allow all those dastardly villain and rogue incarnates to earn the badges and salvage! :P
There IS more upcoming raid news of another nature too, however the details are being put together so please stay tuned for more information!

Either the aforementioned Praetorian arc, or for hunting parties, check West of Nightstar in Imperial City for spawns of 4 in a group

Just a heads up that I'll be resuming normal service for CoP runs very soon, the holiday season has obviously effected us all and whilst I'd have loved to have camped out the CoP for the holiday season, work and family have kept me quite occupied and away from Paragon for the last few weeks.
Keep your eye on globals, should be some chatter about the Cathedral coming very soon! -
Flints, you will always have a place on Union and amongst the Zero Strykers SG. You assistance in COP runs has been invaluble and I'm sorry to see that you might not be taking part in them for a while at least.

the badges are collected in a set, while its possible to do them all in one run, you can quite easily do them across 2/3 without issue.

We have just tried this on Union with a team. We took in several Shivans, HVAS, veteran buff pets etc, they were buffed with the various Warburg Nukes and Director 11 was hit with the debuff / damage nukes.
Despite all of this and flying to avoid the blasts we STILL suffered casualties and missed the badge due to Sapper's, ridiculious knockdown from AoE missiles and what looked like mines without a -tohit check once we had taken mine damage and had to do it the old fashioned way!
I have to ask what the dev's intentions were for this fight, as I think the amount of mines, their damage, the ambushes and the Directors shall we say, elusive strategy doesn't really amount to an enjoyable battle, let alone any understanding of how we were intended to get that badge!
I can see the strategy working, so long as 8/8 players take shivans and Hvas, thats not the issue, my concern however is that these dynamic encounters and a wee bit overzealous in some areas lol -
well if any spaces become availiable in the instance come 8pm ish (although I expect that Hami will be long defeated by that time) I'll head into the Hive and reinforce whichever teams need me.

Apologies, but I've been told this morning that I'm working until 8pm on the 17th now, due to staff shortages at work. I'll still gladly assist with EoE gathering and turn over my current holding of them towards the raid.
I will however, be sat at work silently cursing for missing out! :'( -
getting the same thing when editing, cant remember which but I seem to think it happens to plot upgrades etc as well, but only in that info box.

The first run was quite startling for me during the pillars, normally teams are balanced roughly be having a fairly standard assortment of AT's, and while my team had an extra blaster we were able to deck the pillar in about 7 seconds.
Alpha abilities do seem to be quite effective as I have taken a team consisting of the same people (mostly) in previous weeks and still not been that far ahead!
I did try and compensate for that on the second run, so hopefully that was evident.
Our second run faced the Purple AV as noted, and whilst we had the DPS to drop his HP, we alas didn't have significant -regen capability or HVAS remaning to complete the trial within the timer, we could have fought on, but I didn't want to incur massive debt on everyone for a situation that would have been unnessarily frustrating!

Just wanted to offer my thanks again to the people of Union for 2 great runs on the CoP, we got the Red AV both times, however with the number of HVAS and the teams running perfectly against the mobs as directed, we could have taken the Purple in my estimation!!
Apologies for the abrupt redside run and the lack of a recogniseable character to lead on, but it was an impromtu raid led off the back of much rejoicing from the sub 15 minute heroside run!!! -
My current plan is to respec Zero, using the additional power picks for an additional few set bonuses, whilst also speccing in some support powers without undermining any current capablilties. Then will run through the arc and Alpha him as well, and I've worked out what Alpha tree and a general run through of salvage will be needed for everything!

Well I type the briefings each time which allows me to amend details on the fly each time, so I'm trying to keep it as understandable as possible for new CoP'ers while making sure everyone knows what to do, its nice to have the effort noticed, so thankyou guys!
I really do want this running regularly and smoothly each week so that when I19 hits, we can run the CoP for incarnate rewards as well as the badges! -
I found it useful to put notices out to re-debuff and prepare for mobs about 25 seconds after the shields go down, although its a nightmare fighting, running comms and counting to 25 lol so it was a few seconds out on more than one occasion, but the important thing is that it works!!!
I hope come I19 we can be successful more frequently given the rewards that it will bring and that like last night, everyone can work together on the mobs to get the shields back down! -
Just an update (nice to see you Knightly!) but Union gave the "Purple" AV a good kicking heroside tonight! My thanks to everyone that took part, we proved that we can do it with enough damage, debuffs and HVAS

First off:
My apologies for not being able to attend last night, without going into too much detail my sister needed a bit of family backup late yesterday afternoon and evening.
Anyways, we'll come out fighting again next week, bring plenty of HVAS (recent runs have had fewer and fewer I've noted) everyone!
I was thinking with the Purple AV, should we try everyone sticking at range (scrappers and Melee just keep their HVAS near the willforges to just fire on the AV) so we have less time switching to cubes? -
I have levelled my Praetorian to 20 and will leave him there, I really like Praetoria and I don't want to leave lol!
I have also decided to "badge" without leaving Praetoria, have been going for rare ones etc, as an example I added the longbow and arachnos badges without leaving -
I have had a comment saying thanks for submitting, but no tell that I know of, but I did get some play throughs from other contestants! I hope to be able to return the favor and positive comments during the week!
(I hope those that did play my arc enjoyed it)

I'm tempted to buy two copies of this origin pack, just to annoy "Heroid" by undermining his boycott. If you don't want to be a Rikti Monkey in combat, don't click the button mid fight...
Anyways, onto positives, I really like the look of this pack, nothing my mains can really use, but some of my lesser played alts will love some of the new pieces on offer here!
Can we get that impervium texture for other body parts though? :P -
You never know, we might be able to convince the chosen Mod to join us and use that oh so lovely "kill target" button lol.
