Where exactly are you seeing this?
In the system chat?
or in the little "item window"?

For example: click on a pillar and click the info tab. Instead of the proper category and price in prestige I saw: "Category = invalid string parameter", while the price was some 8 digit number.
kk... will check it out as well.
Did you take a screenie & bug it?
Always a good idea to have "proof". =)

Yep, all the base items I looked at say the same price in the info window.

I'm wondering if it's actually a complete message:
"Invalid string parameter 11469548"
As opposed to 2 separate lines... it just looks like 2 lines because of the format.

getting the same thing when editing, cant remember which but I seem to think it happens to plot upgrades etc as well, but only in that info box.

Since i17 came out I have noticed a base editing bug. When I choose something to place in a room (or a room itself) I get weird gobblygook ("unknown category signifier" -or similar) instead of the item's category (eg - medical) or price (usually quotes the sg's total prestige).
The item's categories and prices are correct in the lower panel.
