heroes aren't necesarily better, they just have very straightforward roles, while villa can fill many roles but not as effectively

fire/kins haven't been nerfed recently, just less peeps use em cuz there are better things out there For farming and such, but a fire kin is still popular because it does great on nothing but so's
but if u want a toon that can basically do any content In the game seem trivial, deck out a fire/shield scrapp..great farmer, ridiculously high singletarget dps and really really hard to kill.. but play whatever u like there is no "best" setup in the game, everything is good at different things -
I suggest storing 1 billion as seed money for whenever you need more, as u learned making money after a bill is ridiculously easy, so store a billion...than spend, when your low on funds claim your billion and make more than put the billion back...
oh and to store money place bids on lvl 53 IOs, they will never fill..I like using 53 LoTGs for no particular reason though haha -
the first billion is always the hardest

and yes starting on a squishy does help u learn to pvp better, I reccomend psi/em blast,sonic/therm corr, or mind/fire Dom -

If you have to PVP with a HEAT go with a PB. They have alot of survivability and versatility. WS are plain horrible in PVP.

If you're a blaster, you've obviously never fought a good Corr. If you're a Corr, you're either bad or have only fought some incredibly well slotted blasters.
