    One last thing is that I looked into when Bodguard Mode came 'round and it was round the time i7 came out as I recall correctly that i6 was when villain side was introduced. I guess an issue into it they may have had bodyguard mode in mind and didn't get it ready in time for the release.

    But, if they were truly supposed to be Tankers redside they would have given Taunt to MMs instead of Brutes.

    Also, brutes, try as they might, are not tanks. That's why villains have masterminds . If the alpha strike issue is what keeps regen from being ported to tanks, it shouldn't stop it from going to brutes.
    Same hp cap as Tankers as someone else had pointed out. Not sure that MMs were meant be the Tankers of redside as bodyguard mode wasnt implemented into the game when redside came out. MMs can prob take the initial alpha better than a Brute but it cant maintain it.

    Not in any way to side track.

    For a /WP to do that is quite impressive. I've always assumed /Invuln to take alpha alot better over /WP. Situation reminds me of when a LRSF went bad and had to face the wrath of all the heroes minus, Numina. I ported to base to grab a tray full of large purples with my SS/Invuln and popped one and another just before it started to wear out while our /Stone would pull a hero off one at a time through the rest of the TF.

    I dont think you can go wrong with either /WP or /Invuln
  4. I think with Elude/Retsu you'll get 45-47% Defense. No way to soft-cap in a PvP environment without a Tier 9. Mids is WAY out-dated to base numbers off of it.

    Can't recall how much Elusivity factors in...
  5. My personal preference is to use it at the peak of my fury bar for max damage before starting my attack chain.

    The OP had asked for any objections before running ahead on his own with fair warning. Some people may take offense or bruise their ego when a Scrapper is holding the teams hand throughout the mission. Sounds like a 12 year old who was playin' the Stone/ role as it probably would have taken 2 1/2 hours going at his pace.

    For a Stone/ to wonder if they can tank Romi is pretty laughable when they forget that they need to tank for the team, as well.

    Managed to pick up 3,157hp on SS/Invuln Brute.

  9. Damn, I been busy compared to you fellas. I didn't level any of my toons but got 5x of Mrs.T's toons to level 50 from the teens 'cept for one thats been 42 for a over a year. Not sure what the heck I'm gonna do after this next Double XP event when i16 rolls 'round the corner.

    Played most of friday and all of saturday and got 2 hours worth of play time on sunday just before midnight.

  12. Knockout Blow and Footstomp eats a ton of end when used back to back repeatedly. My build is completely IO'd and it can still chew through endurance. When Footstomp is out of the equation you can go all day with a full bar. Just don't spam it every chance that its up and you'll be up to speed for the next mob.

    - Miracle: +Recovery
    - Numina's: +Regen/Recovery
    - Performance Shifter: Chance +Rec
    - Panacea: Chance +Heal/Rec

    I'd shoot for these as they've helped me a lot with my build.

    Power Boost effects Benumb's -Special bringing it from -55.875% to -90% (the -special cap, actually raised to -99.833% before cap).

    Power Boost also effects the -Def in Sleet and Infrigidate, as well as boost the hold duration of freeze ray and the -ToHit in bitter ice blast. It also increases the -End/+End aspects of Heat Loss. It also increases the -SPD component on all slows. It also boosts Tactics, Manuevers, Aim(Tohit only) and Vengeance by a significant amount.

    Arctic Fog, Ice Shield, Glacial Shield, and Frostworks are the only Ice/cold powers that have absolutely no benefit from Power Boost.

    You're brave. I always have Manti and States last. When they both seem to wake up they activate some leadership toggle that negates sleeps for the rest of them for a short time.

    I dont think Power Boost will do you any good. I'd pick up Leviathan Mastery for Hibernate.

    School of Sharks &gt; Sleet &gt; Ice Storm &gt; Heat Loss &gt; Blizzard

    Hit a small blue and Hibernate -- your end will recover dependin' how large the mob is been affected by it. Mob'll wither away under your power and done safely.

    If you spec for recharge can have it up every other mob as well as have Hibernate up every minute. Perma Sleet and Ice Storm is nice. Using School of Shark helps keep mobs inside the AoEs 'cause they tend to disperse and scatter under the chaos.

  21. A buddy of mine mentioned yesterday that he picked up a Mini Blaster from RV and recalled that it only has a one time use. Not that its uber overpowering or anything but any chance you could replace it all together with something more useful for the amount of work and give it more charges?

    Gettin' Shivans in 8m with 5x charges beats workin' for a Mini Blaster in RV for 30-60m.

    No? Okay, thanks anyways.

    Oh, another thing any way you can do this without havin' to go into a PvP Zone? Cool

    I have 138.75% on my Mind/Psi without Hasten (208.75% with Hasten) and ya have about a 5-6s window to single-target sleep the heroes you missed.

    The PBAoE sleep from Earth/ isn't the best choice for sure. Since it attracts aggro they have a chance to take a shot at you before fallin' asleep since you're that close.

    They can even take a shot at you from Mesmerize but it has a good range and never can get a shot at you if you poke your head from outside the platform in between applications.
